Chapter 533 Various Crimes
The Holmes Group had internal deficits, and Jenny wasn't well-liked within the circle.
Kevin's words did not elicit any sympathy; everyone was more interested in finding out who the real killer of Kimberly was.
When Joseph heard that the killer was indeed Jenny, he was extremely agitated. "Fiorello, was Kimberly really killed by Jenny?"
"No, it wasn't me," Jenny vehemently denied. "Don't slander me. I didn't do anything. If you don't believe me, call the police and let them investigate."
Holden sneered, "Ms. Holmes, don't worry, the police will be here soon."
Hearing that the police were really coming, Jenny thought of the person who had handed her the note. She immediately scanned the crowd, considering the person who warned her to escape as her savior.
As she looked around the guests, Jenny indeed spotted the waiter who had given her the note. Just as she was about to call out, the person turned and slipped into the crowd, exiting through the back door.
The waiter reached the exit, glanced back at the wedding hall, touched the earpiece, and spoke to someone on the other end, "We are still a step too late."
Jenny clutched her dress tightly. She wanted to escape but didn't dare. She couldn't get away, and if she showed any fear, it would be tantamount to admitting guilt.
Jenny calmly said, "I didn't do it. Let the police investigate. They will clear my name."
At this moment, Jenny's composure even earned some admiration from Maggie in the corner.
Fiorello coldly smirked, "Since Ms. Holmes is so forthright, why don't you tell us what happened in those five minutes?"
Jenny couldn't make up a story on the spot, fearing the more she said, the more mistakes she'd make. She simply said, "After I went in, I saw Kimberly lying on the ground, so I called the police and an ambulance, then went out to find help."
"You called the police first," Fiorello said sternly. "You were certain Kimberly was dead, so you didn't call the ambulance first. When Kimberly died, her bloody hand was clutching your ankle. Did she ask you to save her? But you didn't. You stabbed her again with the knife."
Fiorello's description was exactly what had happened, as if he had seen it with his own eyes. Jenny's face turned pale. She couldn't believe it.
"You want to know how I know what happened," Fiorello said, handing a USB drive to his subordinate, who immediately inserted it into a computer and projected the video onto the LED screen at the wedding venue.
The video captured the exact moment Jenny entered the bathroom and stabbed Kimberly.
As the knife pierced her, Kimberly's face contorted in pain, and she died with her eyes wide open.
Some of the hundreds of guests closed their eyes in fear; it was too horrifying.
Jenny's act of murder instilled fear in everyone's hearts.
Maggie was also seeing such a video for the first time and was very surprised.
How did Fiorello get this video?
With the video evidence, how could Jenny still argue?
Fiorello said, "This is physical evidence, and we also have a witness."
At this moment, Fiorello's subordinate brought in the Holmes family's maid, Anna.
Seeing Anna, despair flashed across Jenny and Kevin's faces.
Anna said, "Kimberly was indeed killed by Ms. Holmes. I heard Ms. Holmes confess to Mr. Holmes that she killed Kimberly."
After Anna finished speaking, Jenny lost control. "You're lying! I didn't do it. I'll hit you."
Jenny tried to rush over to hit Anna but was restrained by Holly.
Kevin knew that the situation was irreparable..
After watching the video, Joseph was furious and shouted, "Jenny, so it was you who killed Kimberly. You are the murderer. Why? Kimberly was so good to you. How could you do this?"
The wedding had turned into this, and something Gregory hadn't anticipated. He looked at the restrained Jenny, a bit surprised.
Could Jenny really have committed murder?
Seeing that the situation was exposed, Jenny no longer pretended. She glared viciously at the Flores family and cursed, "None of you Flores family members amount to anything worthwhile. Kimberly was stupid. With just a few words from me, she believed that Maggie's baby was someone else's and took abortion pills to get rid of it. It was so satisfying."
Hearing Jenny reveal that she had instigated Kimberly to take the pills, Maggie couldn't stay calm and stepped forward. "Jenny, so it was you behind this. If you have a problem, come at me. How could you harm a child? Aren't you afraid of retribution?"
Seeing Maggie appear, Jenny suddenly realized. "So, this wedding is a trap set by the Flores family. Maggie, I warned you many times not to get close to Fiorello, but you wouldn't listen. The child is your price, and Kimberly was the most detestable. She forced me to marry Gregory, this illegitimate child. I, Jenny, have always been proud. I could never marry such a disgraceful man. She deserved to die."
Jenny cursed at Gregory, "Gregory, you're not a man. You raped me, got me pregnant, and then didn't take responsibility. You Flores family members are the most disgusting and hypocritical."
After cursing, Jenny laughed wildly.
