Chapter 463 Entrusting the Child

Jenny knew she was in trouble the moment Gregory had her pinned against the wall.

"You're quite the firecracker," Gregory said, stroking her cheek. "I invited you over, and you had the nerve to say no. Now, don't blame me for what happens next."

Gregory, already pissed off thanks to Fiorello, saw Jenny's text as the last straw.

He ripped her clothes, covered her mouth, and sneered, "Let's see if I'm better than Fiorello. Can he make you feel like I do?"

Jenny fought back, but she was no match for Gregory's strength.

Before she could even scream, Gregory was already inside her.

To Gregory, Jenny was his now. Once he had her, no one else could.  He kept her mouth covered, turned her around, and took her roughly from behind.

Jenny felt a sharp pain in her stomach. When Gregory finally let go of her mouth, she gasped, "Gregory, I'm pregnant."

That stopped him cold. He pulled out, turned her around, and stared at her belly. "You're pregnant?"

Gregory never thought Jenny would get pregnant.

Jenny, pale and shaking, nodded.

Gregory swore, "Damn it, you didn't take the pill? Jenny, don't think I'm gonna take responsibility. This was just a fling, don't get it twisted."

Jenny, furious, shot back, "Gregory, you bastard."

Seeing her pale face, Gregory fixed his clothes and helped her dress, muttering, "Deal with it yourself. What a mess."

Gregory never imagined he'd be a dad like this. He was an illegitimate child himself, unmarried, and now he had a kid with Jenny. It was too much to handle.

He climbed out the window and left. Jenny clenched her fists, tears streaming down her face. Her pride had been stomped on by the Flores family.

She didn't expect Gregory to step up, but his flat-out refusal sparked a rebellious fire in her.

A wild idea popped into Jenny's head.

She was carrying a Flores baby. She decided to keep it and find a new dad for the kid. She had to act fast before the pregnancy became obvious.

Meanwhile, Maggie had been in the hospital for ten days, her body healing but her heart still broken.

She kept her distance from Fiorello, barely speaking, sometimes not saying a word all day. The tension was killing their relationship.

Arya tried to console Maggie, "Don't stay mad at Fiorello. It's hurting your relationship. It's not worth it. Don't say things you'll regret. Think it over. Fiorello's struggling too."

Maggie had cried non-stop. She gave a bitter smile and looked at Arya. "Mom, you think I don't know he cries at night? I know, but so what? What did he do wrong? Nothing. The only fault is he's a Flores, and his grandmother killed our baby."

Some things hurt, even if Maggie knew she shouldn't blame him.

Arya sighed, looking at the now frail Maggie, her heart aching. "You can go home tomorrow. Take care of yourself."

Maggie stared out the window. "Mom, you should go back and take care of Adalia. She needs you, and I owe her so much."

Arya felt a chill. It sounded like Maggie was saying goodbye.

She quickly said, "Maggie, don't do anything stupid. You still have me and Adalia. Fiorello loves you. There's a future ahead. Look forward, okay?"
