Chapter 734 Sending Fiorello Back

Melissa had already planned everything out, and Timothy was astonished as he listened.

But he still followed Melissa's instructions, set off for Desmond's hometown, and brought him back to prepare for what Melissa had planned next.

In the hospital room.

Fiorello's eyes were filled with unfamiliarity as he looked at the medical chart hanging at the head of the bed.

It had Timothy's name written on it.

When Melissa came in, Fiorello asked her, "Why does it say Timothy on this? Didn't you say my name is Ryan?"

"That's my brother's name. The situation was urgent at the time, and my brother used his driving license to get you admitted," Melissa said with a smile. "I asked the doctor; you only have temporary amnesia. You might remember everything later. We need to go back. Maybe being there will help you regain your memory."

Fiorello wanted to regain his memory. If what Melissa said was true, he might remember everything once they went back.

"Okay." Fiorello was also eager to go back.

Melissa quickly handled the discharge procedures and told the hospital to transfer Fiorello.

That afternoon, Melissa took Fiorello out of the hospital, planning to go back to the hotel to pack up before heading home.

Melissa called a taxi and stayed close to Fiorello to prevent him from contacting the outside world. If Fiorello showed any signs of remembering something, she could respond immediately.

As the car drove through the streets of San Diego, the taxi's radio was broadcasting, "Currently, three missing persons from the Flames Village landslide have been found, all without signs of life. The CEO of Visionary Futures Group, Fiorello, is still missing."

Hearing this, Fiorello felt a strange sensation in his heart.

Melissa's expression immediately became tense as she observed Fiorello's reaction.

Fiorello, who couldn't remember anything, found the outside world unfamiliar. He longed to know about his past, but for now, he could only rely on Melissa.

The first person he saw when he woke up was Melissa, who claimed to be his girlfriend. Even though he couldn't remember, he felt a sense of trust and dependence on her.

Since he woke up, Melissa had been very gentle and attentive to him, so he believed what she said.

The broadcast was short, and then it moved on to the next segment.

Seeing that Fiorello had no reaction, Melissa felt relieved.

At a red light, the taxi stopped at the intersection. As it started moving again at the green light, a black SUV passed by.

Inside the SUV was Maggie, who was on her way to continue searching for Fiorello.

As the cars passed each other, Fiorello suddenly felt a sharp pain in his heart, as if something important was missing, causing him great distress.

Instinctively, Fiorello looked out the window, but the SUV had already driven past, and he saw nothing.

Inside the SUV, Maggie felt a strong sense that Fiorello was nearby.

Maggie turned to look out the window, but all she saw was the bustling traffic, with no sign of Fiorello.

Saskia said, "Maggie, the rescue team reported that they found another missing person in a village over twenty miles downstream."

"Let's head over there now and take a look," Maggie said, not wanting to miss any opportunity.

Meanwhile, on the other side.

Melissa took Fiorello back to the hotel to pack up. Melissa didn't know that Fiorello had originally been staying at this hotel.

Upon entering the hotel, Fiorello felt a sense of familiarity, as if he had been there before.

While Melissa was packing inside, Fiorello, with his head bandaged, wheeled himself into the hotel corridor.

He saw a cleaner tidying up a room and taking out the used bed linens.

Melissa finished packing and came out, pushing the wheelchair. "Ryan, let's go. I've informed Desmond. He knows you're injured and is already on his way from the countryside to meet us at home."

"Okay," Fiorello responded softly.

As Melissa pushed Fiorello past the cleaner, the cleaner saw Fiorello and asked, "Sir, do you need your room cleaned?"

The cleaner was referring to Fiorello's room, not the one Melissa was staying in.

The cleaner had previously changed the bed linens in Fiorello's room and had seen him before.

The cleaner was an elderly woman in her sixties. She didn't use a smartphone and was unaware of what was happening online or who Fiorello was.
