Chapter 435 Isabella Felt Embarrassed
Fiorello lounged in casual wear, looking effortlessly elegant. With a coffee in one hand and a phone in the other, his tall, attractive figure was hard to ignore.
Isabella couldn't stop staring, feeling a strange satisfaction.
Just then, Ariel came up with some dessert for Fiorello. Isabella smiled and took it from her. "I'll take it in. You go handle other stuff."
Ariel hesitated but nodded. "Alright, thanks, Ms. Adams." She smiled and left.
Isabella adjusted her clothes and walked in. "Mr. Flores, have some dessert."
Fiorello ended his call, his brows furrowing. "Ariel can handle this."
"Ariel's busy, so I brought it," Isabella said, trying to make conversation. "Mr. Flores, I wanted your advice on my coffee shop. It makes about three thousand dollars a day, but I feel it could be better."
She just wanted to spend more time with him, hoping for his praise.
Fiorello remained expressionless. "I don't know much about coffee shops. I can have our marketing manager help you."
"Okay, thanks." Isabella felt awkward.
Seeing she wasn't leaving, Fiorello said, "Isabella, I'm still working."
She got the hint. "I won't disturb you then."
Feeling embarrassed, Isabella left. The man who was so gentle with Maggie was so serious with her.
In the hallway, she looked at herself in the mirror. Despite spending a lot on skincare, she couldn't hide her age.
Maggie, with her pregnant belly, came upstairs. Her skin glowed, looking beautiful even without makeup.
Isabella couldn't help but say, "No wonder Fiorello is so drawn to you, even when you're pregnant."
Maggie blushed. "Isabella."
Isabella joked, "Be careful during pregnancy. Have you two stopped being intimate?"
Maggie, though embarrassed, replied, "The baby wasn't stable at first. Now it's better, but we're still careful, just a few kisses."
Isabella felt a pang of envy. Maggie was so lucky to be with such an amazing man.
Trying to hide her feelings, Isabella said, "You should still be careful, though."
