Chapter 328 The Young Boyfriend
After sending Jenny away, Maggie threw herself into her work. She was busy all morning, and by lunchtime, she had a moment to call Dulce.
Dulce had been out of touch for a while, and Maggie was quite worried.
Maggie dialed Dulce's number, and after a long while, Dulce finally answered.
"Dulce, what have you been up to lately? Haven't heard from you in days."
"Yeah, I've been in Emberwood with my boyfriend for a few days. We're coming back tomorrow," Dulce replied casually.
Hearing the unusual tone, Maggie asked, "You haven't gotten up yet?"
At the Emberwood Hotel, Dulce shook her head to wake herself up a bit. "I drank too much last night. I was too tired. Didn't you go to London? Are you back?"
"I got back yesterday," Maggie said, "I was thinking of asking you out for lunch, but I guess not now."
"Keep that in mind. We'll have lunch when I get back," Dulce said, not missing a chance to make Maggie pay. She also reminded over the phone, "Don't forget it."
"Alright, no problem." Maggie laughed. "By the way, about Fiorello, how much did you get to keep it a secret, even from your best friend?"
Dulce played dumb and asked, "What are you talking about?"
"Drop the act. Fiorello confessed everything. I had dinner at the Flores Manor last night."
Seeing that the matter was exposed, Dulce laughed it off. "Maggie, it was for your own good. I was afraid you'd get a divorce. No one knew if Fiorello was serious or just playing around. Now that you two are fine, I'm relieved."
Maggie pretended to be angry. "How can you say that? We're good friends. I can't believe you chose him over me."
"Just this once, it won't happen again," Dulce said, "Maggie, you're so lucky. You randomly married someone and ended up with the president of Visionary Futures Group. But as for my boyfriend, even if I beat him up, he wouldn't admit he's a rich man."
When it came to Dulce's young boyfriend, Maggie reminded her, "Don't always spend money on him. No man should always let a woman spend money on him. Don't let him sweet-talk you into losing your senses."
Since Dulce started dating her young boyfriend, she had spent a large sum on him. Maggie was worried Dulce might be getting scammed.
"Alright, I know." Dulce laughed. "I'm too smart to be fooled. He's here. I have to go."
Dulce hung up as she heard the doorbell, guessing it was her young boyfriend from next door.
Dulce went to open the door, and her boyfriend, Oliver Stewart, stood there with breakfast, smiling brightly. "Honey, I got you breakfast."
"Sweetheart, you're so nice." Dulce kissed him and took the breakfast.
They had been in Emberwood for a few days, staying in separate rooms.
Oliver had tried many times to stay over, but Dulce always refused.
Dulce had principles. There were some boundaries. If they weren't legally married, they couldn't do it.
Oliver's eyes swept over Dulce. She had just gotten up, wearing loose clothes, With her short hair tousled, she exuded a feminine charm.
Oliver stepped forward to hug Dulce and pouted, "Honey, we've been together for so long. I feel like you don't love me at all."
Oliver was younger than Dulce, with a handsome face, a sweet mouth, and a knack for pouting.
Dulce laughed and touched Oliver's face. "How could that be? Whatever you like, I buy for you. I love you the most."
"I like you." Oliver looked at Dulce with an affectionate gaze. "I want to be your man."
Dulce loved it when Oliver acted coy. He was such a sensible and clingy young boyfriend.
Dulce said, "You're not of legal marriage age yet. We'll wait two more years."
Oliver didn't care what Dulce said. He started to get handsy, touching and kissing her. "Honey, have sex with me. I want you."
