Chapter 363 Feelings That Shouldn't Exist
Maggie's pregnancy solidified her spot in the Flores family.
Jenny was furious; if she couldn't have Fiorello, she wouldn't let Maggie have him either.
After talking to Kimberly, Jenny called Gregory. "Maggie's pregnant. You need to get her out of the Flores family and make Fiorello hate her."
Gregory was stunned. "What? She's pregnant? This just got interesting."
"Gregory, you promised to help me become Mrs. Flores. If I can't have him, no one can. You hate Fiorello as much as I do," Jenny sneered. "You don't want to be overshadowed by your half-brother forever, right?"
Gregory's expression changed, then he smirked. "You're not dumb."
He had thought Jenny was clueless, but she had figured out his identity.
"Gregory, we have the same goal now. I've never been so humiliated. Rejected by a man multiple times, I want Fiorello to regret it."
As a wealthy heiress, Jenny had seen business battles since she was a kid; she wasn't naive.
A man named Flores suddenly appeared, helping her without asking for anything in return. It wasn't that simple.
It wasn't hard for Jenny to dig up Gregory's identity, and he hadn't hidden it well to begin with.
Gregory grinned. "I like a ruthless woman."
"Maggie had a child out of wedlock before, right? If that kid were found, things would get even more interesting."
Jenny had gotten smarter. Fiorello would notice any small moves she made, so she'd use Gregory to achieve her goal.Gregory smirked. "You're really ruthless."
In the following days, Maggie stayed in the hospital to protect her pregnancy.
Pregnant Maggie got the best care.
Arya and Eleanor constantly brought her delicious food.
Even when she went to the bathroom, Fiorello waited outside. When she picked up a fork, Fiorello took it from her hand and fed her.
Maggie sighed helplessly. "Fiorello, I'm pregnant, not disabled. I don't need to be fed."
"I can't bear the pregnancy for you, but I can do these little things," Fiorello said firmly. "Open your mouth."
Maggie opened her mouth. "I also want lotus root slices and fish."
She let Fiorello help her, feeling happy watching him fulfill her every wish.
At that moment, Olivia and Isabella arrived.
"You guys are eating," Olivia smiled. "Maggie, I heard you were hospitalized, so Isabella and I came to see you. How are you feeling?"
They had heard from Arya that Maggie was pregnant.
Olivia felt envious. Marrying into a wealthy family and now pregnant, Maggie's luck was beyond reach.
Olivia didn't really want to visit but felt obligated. Maggie was now a wealthy lady, and she might need her help in the future.
Isabella, seeing how much Fiorello doted on Maggie, also felt envious. She hid her feelings and smiled. "Maggie, congrats on becoming a mom."
"Olivia, Isabella," Maggie was delighted to see them. "Have a seat. I'm much better now and can go home tomorrow."
Isabella's smile was forced. "That's good to hear."
She couldn't help but glance at Fiorello. Each glance made her heart race and filled her with guilt. She had fallen for her cousin's husband.
