Chapter 258 Jenny's Warning
Maggie was taken aback; she turned to look at Jenny in front of her and took a deep breath.
"Ms. Holmes, this is getting boring..."
The last time Maggie saw Jenny, she knew this woman liked Fiorello.
Jenny smiled, but her smile was meaningful. "I find it very interesting, someone who has been deceived all time, very interesting indeed."
"Don't try to sow discord between us in this way," Maggie said bluntly, "Your actions are ridiculous."
With these words, Maggie walked past Jenny and headed outside.
But Jenny's leisurely voice came from behind. "Maggie, do you know who Fiorello really is? You don't even know who he is; you are the ridiculous and pitiful one."
Upon hearing this, Maggie turned back, frowning at Jenny. "If you have something to say, just say it."
Jenny chuckled. "That would be too boring; I think it's more fun this way."
These ambiguous and unpredictable words greatly disturbed Maggie's mind.
Maggie looked steadily at Jenny and said, "Whatever you say, it doesn't matter to me. I only believe what I see with my own eyes, trust my feelings, and I won't waste your time with these useless things. Fiorello and I will definitely be happy together."
Jenny sneered. "I'll be waiting then."
Maggie walked straight out of the restroom. As a woman, she could see through Jenny's thoughts.
She was sowing discord because she liked Fiorello.
In the private room.
Benjamin ordered the food, and a few people chatted about Fiorello's identity.
Benjamin asked, "Fiorello, how long do you plan to keep this a secret? If I ever invite you and Maggie for a meal, all of us have to be careful."
He was afraid of letting slip and being seen by acquaintances.
Holden also said, "Fiorello, I think it's about time. If Maggie finds out from someone else, I'm worried you will be in trouble."
Fiorello calmly said, "On the 8th of next month, it's the anniversary celebration of Visionary Futures Group. I will confess everything to her that day."
Fiorello knew that he couldn't continue this deception.
Benjamin joked, "There's still a surprise."
Holden said, "That's two surprises."
"What if Maggie doesn't accept it," Benjamin said, "Fiorello becoming the CEO of a multimillion-dollar company would be quite shocking."
Fiorello was also worried about this issue. Maggie was impatient, and if not handled properly, it could backfire.
As they chatted, Maggie walked in and casually asked, "What are you guys talking about?"
Fiorello handed her the menu. "See if there's anything else you'd like to eat; feel free to add more."
"There are already so many dishes now; it's enough." Maggie felt embarrassed, even though Benjamin was treating, she couldn't be too wasteful.
"Maggie, let me pour you a cup of coffee."
"I'll do it."
Benjamin and Holden argued over who would pour coffee for Maggie, which surprised her.
"You don't have to be so polite," Maggie said,
Before Maggie could finish speaking, the two of them poured two cups of coffee and handed them over.
Maggie looked to Fiorello for help.
Fiorello placed a glass of juice in front of Maggie, then gave Benjamin and Holden a look, and they drank the coffee they poured themselves.
No matter how they argued, they couldn't compete with the juice Fiorello poured.
Maggie couldn't help but laugh. "You three are not children anymore, yet you're still acting so childish."
Holden shifted the blame, looking at Benjamin. "You're the childish one."
Benjamin retorted, "You're the childish one."
No one dared to tease Fiorello about being childish.
While the two argued about who was more childish, Fiorello and Maggie had already started eating.
In this world, good food and beautiful women should never be underestimated.
Maggie ate and thought about the incident in the restroom, saying, "By the way, Fiorello, I just ran into Jenny."
