Chapter 462 Jenny Was Pregnant
Kimberly got played by Jenny, and she even helped her out. She had always been unfair to Maggie and Jenny.
When Kimberly called, Jenny was itching to know what was up with the Flores Family and if Fiorello was gonna cause her trouble.
Acting all concerned on the phone, Jenny said, "Mrs. Flores, are you okay? Did Fiorello do anything to you? I thought you were kidding before, but I didn't think you'd actually go after Maggie."
"I'm his grandma; he can't do anything to me," Kimberly sighed. "It's just a shame about that kid. She really is a Flores, but that doesn't mean Maggie doesn't have other plans for Fiorello."
Hearing how much Kimberly disliked Maggie made Jenny feel pretty smug. But then, Jenny's mood took a nosedive.
Kimberly said, "Jenny, you should give me a great-grandchild. Maggie's not that lucky. By the way, how are things with Gregory? Did you get your period this month? I was just talking to Joseph about having dinner with your dad to finalize your marriage with Gregory."
Kimberly kept rambling, but Jenny was thrown off by the mention of her period.
Kimberly's reminder made her realize she was three days late this month after that night with Gregory.
Her period was usually like clockwork. After that night, she had taken emergency contraception. No way she could be pregnant.
Jenny was freaking out, and hearing Kimberly push for her to be with Gregory made her resent her even more.
If Kimberly really came to the Holmes Family to discuss this, knowing Kevin's personality and the relationship between the two families, Kevin would probably agree.
Jenny was seriously pissed at Kimberly's meddling. It was good enough she didn't accuse Gregory of rape, and now Kimberly wanted her to marry him. She was dreaming.
"Mrs. Flores, my dad's on a business trip and won't be back until next month." Jenny made up an excuse to buy some time.
Kimberly laughed. "No problem. We'll talk when your dad gets back."
Jenny faked a couple of laughs and hung up, blaming the poor signal.
Thinking about that night still made Jenny furious. Now, seeing Kimberly so eager to help, she even suspected Kimberly did it on purpose and that she had been played.
Just then, Gregory sent a suggestive message: [Miss your taste, meet at the usual place, or I'll come to your house.]
Seeing this message, Jenny was so mad she wanted to smash her phone. She replied haughtily: [A jerk like you dreaming of marrying me, Gregory, you should look at yourself. You're not worthy of me.]
This was a direct hit to a man's pride.
Seeing the message, Gregory sneered at his phone screen and drove to Jenny's house.
After replying to the message, Jenny felt uneasy and ordered a pregnancy test kit online. In about half an hour, the delivery person arrived.
Hearing the doorbell, the maid went to open the door, but Jenny uncharacteristically said, "I'll get it."
Jenny opened the door, took the pregnancy test kit, and hurried upstairs. She went into the bathroom and quickly tested herself. Seeing the positive result on the test, she was shocked. "This can't be."
Jenny quickly tested again, and the result was the same.
Jenny immediately became agitated. She was supposed to marry Fiorello and couldn't be pregnant with Gregory's child.
She had taken emergency contraception, and now she was so angry she wanted to sue the pharmacy for selling her fake medicine.
Jenny threw the test into the toilet and flushed it away. She couldn't let Kimberly find out. Otherwise, with Kimberly's personality, she would definitely force her to keep the baby and marry Gregory.
Just as she flushed the test, Jenny heard a noise outside the window. She went to check and saw Gregory climbing in through the window, scaring her into momentary shock.
