Chapter 340 A Grand Introduction to Maggie
The live stream's popularity was on a meteoric rise, escalating from five million viewers to a whopping ten million and still climbing.
It proved that Fiorello was indeed the face of Visionary Futures, a household name. Even Benjamin had once cracked a joke, suggesting that if the company dabbled in women's skincare lines with Fiorello as their spokesperson, those products would fly off shelves like nobody's business.
Isabella, unable to attend in person, watched the livestream online. As she observed Fiorello's stage presence and immense popularity, a sense of joy welled up within her.
Every gesture Fiorello made held Isabella's undivided attention.
"Isabella, can you pass me a towel?" Olivia called repeatedly, but Isabella remained seated, engrossed in her phone.
Intrigued, Olivia strolled over and caught sight of Isabella fixated on a man on her device. Finding him vaguely familiar, she inquired, "Isn't that Maggie's husband? Is he on a TV show?"
Unaware of Fiorello's true identity, Olivia mistook him for a television personality, clad in his suave suit and exuding charm onstage.
"He's the CEO of Visionary Futures. It's their anniversary celebration today, and he's giving a speech, not starring on a show," Isabella clarified.
"Visionary Futures?" Olivia gasped, "Isn't that a major player in the global market?"
"That's right," Isabella affirmed with a grin, "Mom, look at Fiorello. Isn't he something? At just thirty, he's catapulted Visionary Futures to the top ranks both at home and abroad in just a few years."
"Maggie hit the jackpot marrying into such wealth," Olivia marveled, "I had no idea. He seemed like just a handsome guy to me. Who knew he was loaded? Arya and Maggie must've kept this under wraps, fearing we'd take advantage."
Fiorello's true status left Olivia feeling stripped of her usual air of superiority, replaced with a hint of envy.
Isabella didn't explain but instead said, "Maggie is indeed lucky. Fiorello is the kind of man every woman wants to marry, but he chose Maggie."
Olivia said sarcastically, "Maggie isn't that great besides being a bit prettier. You're not bad either. It's just bad luck that you married James. If you could marry someone like Fiorello, you'd be happy for life. You've always compared yourself to Maggie, but in the end, you still lost to her."
Olivia's words were like a thorn stabbing into Isabella's heart.
At the anniversary celebration.
Fiorello introduced Visionary Futures Group and summarized the company's achievements for the year. Then, in the final segment, he introduced Maggie.
Fiorello glanced backstage at Maggie, and his previously serious expression instantly softened.
Fiorello's thin lips curved into a faint smile, sparking even more intense discussion in the live stream.
Because Fiorello's smile was incredibly charming.
The viewers in the livestream were stunned by Fiorello's looks. Even a slight frown from him was so handsome.
Fiorello withdrew his gaze and looked at the audience, his voice clear and cold. "Today, I want to introduce someone who is the most important person in my life."
In the lounge, Kimberly saw from the livestream that Fiorello was about to introduce Maggie and hurriedly walked towards the banquet hall.
Eleanor knew what Kimberly was about to do and quickly stopped her. "Mom, you can't go. Today is an important day for Visionary Futures Group, and the whole event is being live-streamed. If you go, it will embarrass the Flores family."
"If I don't go, Fiorello will announce Maggie's identity to everyone, and that will embarrass the Flores family even more."
While the two were arguing, Fiorello had already finished his speech in the banquet hall. "My wife, Maggie."
