Chapter 327 Another Enemy Arrives
Here it came again.
Maggie had grown weary of this.
Leaning nonchalantly against her desk, Maggie looked at Jenny and said, "Why do you always feel the need to meddle in other people's relationships? If Fiorello liked you, I wouldn't be in the picture. Now that we're married and living happily, you're a daughter of a wealthy family. Can't you show some class?"
Maggie truly couldn't understand Jenny's mindset. There were plenty of men in the world. She could easily find another one. Why did Jenny have to target Fiorello, a married man?
She acted like she showed deep affection for her beloved man but meanwhile caused trouble for others.
To Maggie, such behavior was utterly foolish.
"You say I lack class," Jenny retorted, raising her voice. "You think I'm deliberately causing trouble and lying? Go ask Fiorello if he had a fling with a woman five years ago."
"Even if he did, so what?" Maggie scoffed. "As the president of Visionary Futures Group, he was tall, handsome, and wealthy. It's normal for many girls to like him. It's not unusual for him to have had a woman or even several."
Jenny was taken aback. "You knew that?"
"The matters between my husband and me are none of your concern, Ms. Holmes. I notice you're having hormonal issues on your face. I suggest you find a man and have a relationship to get it right instead of running around and causing trouble," Maggie said calmly, "Interfering in someone else's marriage isn't good if word gets out."
Jenny was both furious and helpless, as Maggie's reaction was entirely different from what she had expected.
Last time, when she had someone impersonate the woman from five years ago, Fiorello had already warned the Holmes family.
Unconvinced, Jenny said, "Maggie, let's see how long you can stay with Fiorello. A man's love was short. Besides your beauty, you have nothing. He will divorce you sooner or later."
"Even if that day came, I wouldn't lose out. At least I was once Fiorello's wife, unlike some people who can only imagine it," Maggie retorted sharply.
Maggie's words were infuriating.
Jenny, extremely angry, glared at Maggie and left in a huff.
Leaving the company, Jenny was so mad that she kicked a stone by the roadside, which accidentally hurt her foot. She just got even angrier.
At that moment, a voice came from the side.
"Being angry here won't help. It does not affect Maggie and Fiorello."
Jenny turned around to see a handsome man standing behind her, though she hadn't noticed when he arrived.
"Who are you?" Jenny asked warily, unable to resist taking a few more glances at the man's face.
He was indeed very handsome.
Apart from Fiorello, this was the most handsome man Jenny had ever seen.
The man politely handed her a business card with a wicked smile on his lips. "I am Gregory Flores, the owner of a private detective agency. I think I can help you."
"Your last name is also Flores?" Jenny's interest was piqued as she heard the surname Flores.
She took the business card and glanced at it, asking, "Are you really a private detective?"
"Yes," Gregory replied with an eerie smile. "I can make your wishes come true."
As she heard that, Jenny's face lit up. "Really? I want to marry Fiorello. Can you make that happen? You mentioned Fiorello's and Maggie's names. Do you know them?"
"I do." Gregory continued to smile. "But they don't know me. You are my target client, so naturally, I would understand your difficulties in advance. You need help, and I can provide it."
Jenny, as if seeing a glimmer of hope, said excitedly, "Alright, then help me break up Fiorello and Maggie. I want to marry Fiorello. I'll pay whatever it takes if you can do it."
"Deal. But you must keep my existence a secret," Gregory said with a smile, "If you need anything, call the number on the card."
"Okay," Jenny agreed and fell for his words.
Gregory chuckled, turned around, and got into a black car parked not far away.
Inside sat another man, who asked as Gregory returned, "Mr. Flores, are you really going to help that foolish woman? You want to take back Visionary Futures Group. There's no need to go to such lengths."
Gregory lit a cigarette with a wicked smile on his face. "The more foolish the woman, the easier she is to control. Fiorello dotes on that Maggie. I really want to see Fiorello suffer."
