Chapter 1058 Anthony Clark, You Bastard!

Jane was known for her elegant aloofness. She was like a diamond-cultivated flower, the most expensive one Jovan had ever produced. She didn't need to smile at anyone.

But in fact, Anthony often saw Jane smile, of course, that was when he was still by Jane's side as a bodyguard.

After running around all day, pushing off two meetings, piling up a bunch of work, and asking many professional photographers, he finally picked out this set of camera equipment, but it was all worth it.

"Mr. Clark, would you like to take a photo too?" Billy saw Anthony and waved with a smile.

Jane didn't want to embarrass Billy, so she said first, "Billy, he doesn't like taking photos."

"Okay." Anthony acted as if he didn't hear Jane and walked in the direction Jane's camera was pointing.

Jane thought, 'Who wants to take a picture of you!'

"I'm heading back to the kitchen," Billy said with a knowing smile, leaving the area to give Jane and Anthony some alone time.

"Go ahead," Anthony said to Jane, standing under the tree. He was tall with long legs and an excellent demeanor. Even in casual home clothes, he looked like a supermodel wherever he stood.

Jane gave a forced smile and took a picture in Anthony's direction. "Done."

Anthony walked over, "Let me see."

Jane handed the camera to Anthony and walked inside.

Anthony flipped through the photos and found only pictures of Billy. According to the sequence, there should have been a photo of him, but there was only an irrelevant landscape, no person.

Not even a shadow of Anthony.

"Jane, where's the photo you took of me?" Anthony asked.

Anthony wasn't interested in taking photos, just curious about how he would look through Jane's lens.

"Not there?" Jane feigned surprise, her acting very unconvincing. "Maybe the camera automatically filtered you out, didn't really want to take your picture."

Clearly, Jane didn't want to take a picture of Anthony.

Anthony was amused by Jane but couldn't get angry.

This was indeed something Jane would do.

And only Jane dared to do this to Anthony.

To Jane, the camera was an endless toy, never getting bored of it.

Anthony originally bought the camera to entertain Jane, but he found that after she got the camera, she ignored him even more thoroughly.

"Jane, don't look at the camera while walking." Anthony's voice turned cold. "Watch your step."

Jane was walking out, wanting to try taking night shots, and looked up when she heard this.

Jane was in a good mood and was willing to talk to Anthony a bit. "It doesn't bother me."

Saying that, she walked out the door.

The two maids attending to Jane instantly felt Anthony's death stare, both lowering their heads, not daring to speak. Jane was not someone they could persuade; even Anthony couldn't control her, let alone them.

"Go get a cloak." Anthony finally just instructed the maid.

The maid quickly went upstairs and brought down a thin rabbit fur cloak in less than a minute.

Jane was standing in the yard taking pictures of the moon. The moon was a crescent, not a full one, but she liked it.

A full moon signified completeness, but Jane never felt that life or living could be complete. She didn't like the full moon.

Footsteps sounded behind her.

Before Jane could turn around, her shoulder suddenly felt heavy, warmth enveloping her.

Anthony's voice came from above her head, "Jane, wear a coat when you go out at night."

'It's not even cold, why wear a coat,' Jane thought to herself but didn't bother to say it.

Firstly, she didn't want to communicate too much with him, and secondly, she knew it was useless to say it.

Anthony couldn't understand why girls would go bare-legged in winter for the sake of beauty. When Jane used to attend socialite parties in winter, Anthony would ask her to wear a down jacket over her dress, or at least a down skirt.

It was simply insane!

"Jane," Anthony suddenly called her.

She glanced at him, indicating she heard him.

"Do you want a lens specifically for night shots?" he asked.

Jane looked at Anthony with suspicion and wariness, feeling he was deliberately trying to attract her attention, luring her into a trap.

This set of lenses was indeed not suitable for night shots; it was mainly for natural light landscapes, and one was a portrait lens, not very good for night photography.

Jane looked up at Anthony, like a cute little fox. Anthony couldn't help but reach out and pinch the back of Jane's neck.

Anthony threw out his bait. "Take a picture of me, and I'll give you a night shot lens as a reward, how about that?"

Jane struggled for two seconds. "Not interested."

After saying that, Jane turned and walked back to the villa, she wasn't taking night shots anymore!

Anthony walked behind with his hands in his pockets. He knew Jane, knew she was clearly tempted by the night shot lens.

But she was just being stubborn, refusing to nod.

After getting pregnant, Jane became even more sleepy, starting to feel drowsy just after nine o'clock.

After washing up, Jane lay in bed and silently opened her phone, searching for the night shot lenses she liked before.

So expensive!

Jane did have a night shot lens, but it was in Paykston, and she didn't trust mailing it over because it was heavy.

Jane roared a few times and put down her phone heavily.

She wouldn't look anymore! If she didn't look, she wouldn't want to buy it!

'What are you looking at, isn't the daytime scenery enough for you to take pictures!' she convinced herself.

Jane took a deep breath and went to sleep!

These days, Anthony had been quite well-behaved, not doing anything like climbing through windows or using a spare key to get in, so Jane gradually let her guard down and didn't lock the door that night.

In the middle of the night, moonlight shone through the floor-to-ceiling windows, casting a layer of fine silver light on Jane in bed.

Anthony silently entered Jane's room and indeed saw the camera she had been inseparable from recently on her bedside table.

Anthony opened the camera album, flipped through it, and found no photos related to him, mostly landscapes, and a few of Billy.

Jane loved taking photos but didn't like taking pictures of herself. She wasn't even interested in the selfies that socialites generally loved to post on social media.

Anthony adjusted the camera to night mode, turned off the flash, and took a few pictures of the sleeping Jane.

The next day, Jane got up and went downstairs. By then, Anthony had already left as usual.

Billy had prepared morning pastries for Jane, and she had almost returned to her old habits from years ago, getting up at nine or ten.

The scenery at Emerald Gardens was top-notch.

After lunch, Jane saw the light outside was good, so she took her camera and went out, taking pictures by the lake for nearly an hour.

When Jane opened the album to see her results, she was startled.

The accompanying maid was shocked, thinking something had happened. "Ms. Watkins, what's wrong?"

The next second, the maid heard Jane gritting her teeth and muttering to herself, "Anthony, you bastard!"
Married to an Ugly Husband? No!
