Chapter 903 Kiss!

Oliver had repeatedly said he wouldn't show up because he had a meeting.
Natalie stared at Oliver in astonishment for a few seconds, then quickly realized that he must be deliberately deceiving her.

He deliberately said he wouldn't come, and this wasn't the first time!

Even under the scrutiny of several cameras and numerous onlookers, Natalie couldn't help but glare at Oliver.

"Look, our Mrs. Watson seems to be pleasantly surprised!" the host said with a smile.

Natalie thought to herself, 'I'm not surprised!

'What are all those starry-eyed people doing!'

Throughout the entire venue, perhaps only Oliver could understand Natalie's true emotions.

Oliver smiled after, showing no signs of guilt but rather a sense of pride.

"Congratulations, my wife!" Oliver.

The host couldn't contain her excitement and almost let out a scream through the microphone, quickly covering it with her hand.

The audience below echoed with their screams.

Natalie almost suspected she had stumbled into some strange celebrity-worshipping scene.

Gossip was a common interest among people worldwide.

Natalie had something to say, but the words "my wife" left her speechless, leaving her momentarily blank-minded, only feeling her heart pounding.

"Aren't you the one who said you wouldn't come?"

It took Natalie a while to find her voice and blurt out this nonsensical sentence.

The host, being multilingual, happened to understand Natalie's words and said with a smile, "He lied to you!"

The audience below joined in, shouting in unison, "He lied to you!"

Oliver smirked and said, "I lied to you."

The cheers were filled with undisguised amusement and friendliness.

Natalie's award was not supposed to be the last one to be presented, but this year there was a change. She originally thought it was a spontaneous decision by the organizers, but it now seemed likely that Oliver had coordinated with them in advance to arrange this segment.

With Oliver's status and influence, adjusting the award order to personally present an award to his wife was not a difficult task.

Oliver was indeed qualified to present the award for Global Most Promising Supermodel.

But she didn't understand why display their affection in public.

"Darling, do you want me to help you with the trophy?" Oliver raised the trophy in his hand, his eyes gleaming with mischief.

Except for Natalie, Oliver rarely showed such emotionally expressive behavior in front of others.

On the big screen, the beautiful Natalie smiled helplessly, exuding a charming aura, like a peony about to bloom, beautiful yet not seductive.

Everyone was used to seeing Natalie exude a queen-like aura on the runway, and her amicability under the stage, But this was the first time they had seen her appear somewhat dependent and shy.

Her beauty left people momentarily fascinating.

Natalie reached out her hands to receive the trophy of honor.

However, Oliver pulled his hand back with a mischievous smile, teasing her.

"Shouldn't you thank your husband for presenting the award? ."

Natalie, being quick-witted, retorted, "Didn't you say you didn't want me to thank you?"

"This time, you have to," he insisted firmly.

While others would be thanked for presenting the award, he also wanted his share of gratitude!

He didn't need to be reasonable.

Natalie, speechless yet indulgent, smiled and said, "Thank you, Mr. Windsor."

As Natalie reached out again, a diamond ring slipped onto her left ring finger before she could finish speaking.

The pink diamond sparkled brightly.

Natalie hadn't studied jewelry specifically, but with her keen intellect and exposure to fine things, she could tell that although this ring looked to be only three or four carats, smaller than the ostentatious ones favored by stars and socialites, it was exquisite pink diamond with top-notch clarity, precision, and cutting craftsmanship. The ring was almost flawless.

This one surpassed the ring she had discarded earlier.

Before Natalie could react, the trophy had landed in her hands.

She held it instinctively, looked up, and met Oliver's gaze.

His eyes seemed to possess a magical power, brimming with intense but indescribable emotions .

"You're welcome, my wife."

Most people couldn't understand what Natalie and Oliver were saying, so they watched the two of them whispering, looking puzzled.

The host, having seen enough, began to translate, simplifying what the two had just said.

The audience erupted into cheers once again.

Natalie felt helpless yet couldn't help but smile.

Taking the microphone, she began her acceptance speech, bringing the atmosphere back under control.

No matter how excited they were, basic respect had to be maintained. So they remained silent.

Seeing the audience's enthusiastic gestures, the host stepped down from the stage to interact with them.

Returning to the stage, the host conveyed the audience's desire, saying, "Mrs. Watson, this is a stage dedicated to art and romance, and true love is the sacred pursuit of artists. We all agree that there should be a kiss here."

"Kiss!"

"Kiss!"

"Kiss!"

The whole venue erupted in excitement as everyone cheered for Natalie and Oliver.
Everyone congratulated them with joy and enthusiasm, except for a few individuals who included Leo.

Leo sat sullenly in his seat, surrounded by well-meaning cheers, feeling heartbroken as he heard his goddess Natalie was believed to be a match made in heaven with Oliver.

"Do you still have feelings for Natalie?" Doris saw through Leo in an instant. "You don't stand a chance. Natalie and Oliver have a son now and have a good relationship, and even if they were to divorce, with a former husband like OLiver, how could she like you?"

"Why wouldn't she like me?"

Leo was infuriated. "Doris, am I still your brother? Why do you always boost others' morale at the expense of mine?"

Doris replied, "There's a term called facing reality. Another term is self-deception."

Leo was furious!

"Kiss! Kiss!"

The entire venue clamored for a kiss.

Natalie was too preoccupied to pay attention to the cheers. After she finished her acceptance speech, all her attentions were focused on the diamond ring on her left ring finger.

Although Oliver didn't say it, she knew it was a replacement for her wedding ring.

It was a brand new one, symbolizing a fresh start for their relationship.

The previous chapter, from when she limped out of the Hastings family's old mansion, had come to an end.

Oliver didn't mind kissing Natalie in public, but that didn't mean he was willing to do so at the request of others.

Taking the microphone, he said, "I won't kiss. My son is still young, and it's not suitable for him to see such things."

The camera immediately switched to the audience, focusing on the attentive Nathan, who was staring intently at Oliver and Natalie on stage, looking very serious.

If they looked closely, they could see his furrowed brows!

Her seemed to be pondering why Oliver and Natalie were over there while he was being held by Liliian.

However, Oliver's polite refusal to display affection on the award stage had been subtly and clearly expressed. Given his status, no one dared to tactlessly demand a kiss.

Most attendees knew when to stop at such a high-level award ceremony.

Even those who wanted to keep cheering either didn't dare or simply couldn't muster the enthusiasm.

Some were disappointed, but witnessing such a heartfelt performance that evening was enough.

Just as everyone was about to shift their focus away from Natalie and Oliver, Oliver, who had just descended the stairs from the stage, suddenly cupped the back of Natalie's head and planted a strong yet gentle kiss on her lips.

Silence fell over the entire venue.

Lilian, holding Nathan, suddenly felt that something was off with him.

The cameraman's lens refocused on Natalie and Oliver. Although Oliver had only given her a brief kiss, it was a real one, witnessed by everyone!

Nathan began to struggle, waving his hands and kicking his feet.

He saw it!

Oliver kissed Natalie!

Olliver wasn't happy when he saw Natalie kissed Nathan, and now he wasn't happy either!

Oliver's public display of affection and the kiss didn't cause much of a stir on a large scale.

The reason was that Oliver prohibited media coverage.

Out of respect for Oliver's status, the organizers refrained from sensationalizing the news, and the public only knew that Natalie's award presenter was her husband, Oliver of the RisingKing Group.

A few photos were released by the media, showing the two of them on stage in a formal manner.

Without looking into their eyes or knowing their relationship beforehand, it was hard to tell they were a married couple showing affection.

Due to Oliver's influential status, some initially questioned the legitimacy of Natalie's award.

However, Natalie had faced continuous controversies and challenges since entering the modeling industry, even taking a hiatus due to a series of events. Such a simple "discussion" failed to gain traction.

In the hearts of many people, when asked who the most formidable supermodel of the past two years was, the answer was undoubtedly Natalie!

It was Natalie, not Mrs. Windsor.
Married to an Ugly Husband? No!
