Chapter 829 Oliver's Love for Pink

"You're coming with me?" Natalie looked at him in surprise.

"Or you can stay home and have someone bring the items for you to choose," Oliver suggested.

"No, I would rather go out and see for myself," Natalie quickly replied. Except for the party she attended with Oliver, she had been confined to the Rosewood Estate. Although the estate was vast enough to keep her entertained for over a month without repetition, it could not change the fact that she felt like she was in prison.

When Oliver and Natalie stepped out, Natalie noticed a few tall men dressed like a bodyguard following her and Oliver, each equipped with discreet earpieces. The leader of the group was Jamie.

"Aren't you usually hidden in the shadows?" Natalie asked Jamie, puzzled.

"Yes, the others are hidden," Jamie explained, "Your situation is special, so we have double the usual number of bodyguards, but for the sake of discretion, only the four of us will be with you and Mr. Windsor."

Jamie's words were met with synchronized nods from the other three bodyguards.

Natalie was speechless.

'Did they misunderstand the word 'discreet'?'

Jamie seemed to sense Natalie's silent complaint and thought to himself, 'If only you knew that Oliver had also arranged for crowd control at the mall for your outing…'

The RisingKing Group owned numerous shopping malls, and the one Oliver took Natalie to was a high-end one. The mall staff only knew that there was a temporary notice for crowd control, with only a third of the usual number of visitors allowed. They were aware that a VIP was coming, but they did not know who it was.

Oliver led Natalie straight to the baby products section.

"There are strollers over there. Let's take a look. Then we can check out the cribs," Natalie said, looking at the floor plan.

"Let's go," Oliver said, glancing at the map and leading Natalie directly to the strollers.

"Did you memorize the route in advance?" Natalie asked curiously.

"I just took a look," Oliver said nonchalantly.

Natalie felt a bit frustrated.

'I don't want to talk to this genius anymore. It's really annoying!'

A salesperson approached them, warmly and politely inquiring about their needs and beginning to introduce products. This was a high-end mall, and all the products here were top-notch, but even among the best, there were differences.

"Oliver, which one do you think is better?" Natalie asked after listening to the introductions, selecting two models.

Oliver raised an eyebrow and pointed to another stroller.

"That one."

The salesperson looked at Oliver with a puzzled expression. Clearly, the stroller was only average compared to the ones chosen by Natalie. She wondered if it was because the chosen stroller was cheaper. However, she quickly dismissed that thought. After all, based on the duo's expensive attire and the bodyguards behind them, how could they not have money?

"The shock absorption of the one you mentioned isn't as good as these two," Natalie said. She felt that since they were choosing a stroller for their child, they should discuss it. With a democratic mindset, she asked, "Why do you think this one is better?"

Oliver pointed to the one he chose and said, "It's pink."

The salesperson was extremely confused. A man dressed in black and gray likes pink?

The salesperson was confused, but Natalie understood immediately. She said, "Oliver, snap out of it. We might not necessarily have a daughter."

'How upset would the designer be if you chose based on colors?'

Oliver looked at Natalie, who was trying to persuade him, and placed his hand on her pregnant belly, saying, "I made you pregnant, so I know very well if we have a daughter or not."

He looked very serious when he spoke.

Natalie was rendered speechless.

Most of the people who came here were wealthy. About eight out of ten of them hoped for a baby boy to inherit the family business in the future. It was the salesperson's first time seeing someone so determined to have a daughter.

"But... Sir, we also have this stroller in pink. Look, it has better features. Even if we don't have the color you want, we can customize it for you, ensuring both functionality and beauty!" The salesperson seized the opportunity and recommended the most high-end and expensive stroller.

"I'll take one," Oliver said, looking at Jamie.

Jamie understood and took care of the payment and delivery.

"Are you sure about this? Isn't it too hasty?"

Natalie was shocked. Oliver had clearly chosen a different model just two minutes ago because it was pink, and now, he chose this one because it can be customized in pink.

"It's fine. If it's not suitable, we can buy another one," Oliver said, leading Natalie to the baby clothes section. After all, Oliver, being a wealthy CEO, did not need to consider the cost.

There are a wide variety of baby clothing and accessories. Different materials, from pure cotton to silk. Different styles, one-piece, two-piece, open-crotch, and closed-crotch. Different accessories such as hats, socks, little shoes, and shoes with or without soles. Different styles, from daily wear to formal wear, printed to embroidered. Different age groups, from newborn clothes to two-year-old clothes.

Natalie had read some parenting books at home, but they did not specify what exactly she needed to prepare and how much.

"I should have brought Flora with me," Natalie said, overwhelmed by the wide range of products.

"What would she do here?" Oliver frowned.

"Let her help me with what to buy and how much to buy. She has experience."

'Experience?'

Oliver signaled for the nearby salesperson to come over and asked, "What baby products do we need to prepare?"

The salesperson gave a simple and enthusiastic introduction, leading Natalie and Oliver directly to the most expensive area.

"Sir, Madam, babies grow quickly, so you don't need to buy a lot. A couple of sets of these clothes are enough for daily changes."

"Wow, they're so tiny!"

Natalie could not help but smile, putting Oliver's hand on the baby clothes and gesturing.

"They're as small as your hand!"

Oliver's eyebrows rose slightly. Indeed, the clothes were so small. His gaze could not help but fall on Natalie's small belly. Would their future children be this small too?

The salesperson could not help but suppress a laugh. It was obvious that they were going to be new parents. Coupled with their good appearances and brilliant aura, their reactions were even more adorable.
