Chapter 805 Mrs. Windsor Falls from the Runway

"Wait!" Suddenly, an old man in the VIP seat interrupted the host, with a serious expression on his face. "I question the results for Miss Rose, the third-place winner," he remarked.

Natalie saw Rose and Innes exchange a panicked glance.

Since its establishment decades ago, there has never been any cheating in the Super Model show, making the competition results highly regarded in the industry. This time, someone came forward to question the results, and it happened to be a top figure in the show-directing world.

After a brief silence, people started discussing the matter.

The head organizer quickly brought up the scoring rules and displayed the results on the big screen.

Innes' score for the third-place winner, Rose, was noticeably higher than normal, even higher than the score given to the champion, which was clearly unreasonable.

Rose's overall score was boosted by Innes' high score, and even the overall scores of other contestants were pulled down by Innes' consistently low scores.

It was clear that she cheated.

"This is a misunderstanding," Innes said quickly, calmed down, and intended to claim that he mistakenly scored Rose.

"I don't think your explanation is appropriate," the influential figure said. "Innes, last night, this third-place miss stayed in your bed, didn't she? This is a case of exchanging favors for influence!"

Innes and Rose turned pale instantly.

Cheating in such a situation was contempt for the authority of the organizers.

Innes' career came to an end that day.

The organizers adjusted the final competition results, canceling all of Rose's achievements, while Leo made it into the top ten with a tenth-place finish.

Leo looked as if he had just got pennies from heaven, stunned for several seconds before breaking into a smile.

He smiled brightly and looked in Natalie's direction.

After Natalie caught Leo's pleading eyes, she didn't know how to respond for a moment. She simply raised a thumbs-up from afar to show her admiration.

Leo's smile became even brighter.

The competition drew to a close, concluding with the final segment.

All the models took the stage together, and Nola, serving as the host, introduced in detail the designers and design studios behind these fashion shows.

Rose blushed and walked onto the stage with a miserable expression. Since she had signed a contract with the organizing committee, she had no choice but to obediently showcase herself.

Rose felt that everyone in the audience was looking at her with sharp, disdainful, and contemptuous eyes.

Her career, her future, had been completely destroyed!

"Natalie, is it you who reported me? Is it you?" she clenched her teeth and asked Natalie beside her.

Natalie maintained her pose and glanced at her sideways. "I don't know what you're talking about," she replied.

Rose didn't believe it and accused, "Who else could it be? Only you saw me enter Innes' room yesterday. It must have been you who reported me! Why could you achieve success in your career with the help of a man, but I can't? Why are you ruining my life? What have I done to you?"

Natalie glanced away. She couldn't be bothered to argue with Rose.

Besides, she had been in the venue the whole time. How could she find the time to report it to anyone?

If she had reported this earlier, Rose wouldn't even have had her last chance to go on stage according to Super Model's strict guidelines!

Rose insisted, "Natalie, your silence made it clear that it was you who told me off!"

Rose grew angrier the more she thought about it.

She was probably insane with rage. On the runway, in front of everyone, she directly reached out and pushed Natalie!

Natalie had been prepared early on, and she moved her body to the side, planning to control this crazy woman with a counterattack. But then she suddenly felt a force pushing toward her from behind.

She had intended to stabilize her body, but her slender high heels were tripped. Her hungry body was already weak, and when she lost her balance and fell, Natalie saw Nola's malicious triumphant smile.

Beneath her was a nine-step staircase!

Natalie's mind went blank. She instinctively curled her body, protecting her abdomen with both hands.

"Someone fell off the stage!" someone shouted.

"Oh, my goodness, something is wrong!" somebody exclaimed.

Amidst the horrified cries, a figure rushed over from the corner.

Natalie could only feel her body being held by another body, and then she heard a "crack" sound, as if something had broken, and also a "stabbing" sound as if something had penetrated the flesh.

"Casey. Casey," Natalie called out as she stared blankly at Casey, who was firmly holding her in her arms.

Her forehead was covered in a layer of sweat, her lips turned pale, but she didn't cry out in pain. Instead, she looked at Natalie with worry in her eyes.

Natalie felt a hand on her own abdomen.

She heard Casey ask, "Natalie, how do you feel? Are you and the baby, okay?"

Only then did Natalie react.

"Bleeding! Oh my god! This girl's arm was pierced!" someone exclaimed.

"Quick! Call an ambulance!" another said.

"Natalie, are you injured? Why is there blood on your leg?" somebody asked.

"Where's the doctor? How much longer until the doctor arrives?" one asked frantically.

There was chaos all around.

Countless voices shouting, all the voices flashed through Natalie's ears.

But in her mind, only one sentence echoed, "Miss, are you and the baby, okay?"

The designer worked day and night to create the wedding ring Oliver wanted.

Originally, Oliver had planned to go directly to the Super Model competition venue to watch Natalie's runway performance after picking up the ring, but because the ring had some issues at the last minute, it delayed his time.

Oliver packed the ring and put it in the pocket of his clothes. Before he could even stand up, he saw Jamie rushing over with an extremely grim expression and a gaze filled with panic and fear.

"What happened to Natalie?" Oliver quickly stood up, without thinking, and asked.

Jamie informed, "Mrs. Windsor fell off the runway."

The smell of disinfectant filled the hospital. Natalie disliked this smell.

The doctor mentioned, "Isn't she from our country? What about her passport? Did she bring her passport? There are still some procedures to be done."

The representative replied, "Okay."

The doctor explained, "Are her family members not here? She's already three months pregnant. A pregnant woman should be more careful. If it weren't for the person in the operating room, the baby in the patient's belly might not survive."

The representative said, "John, thank you very much. We have already contacted her family."

The door of the ward was not closed tightly, leaving a gap.

Natalie lay flat on the bed, staring at the bleak ceiling. She heard the voices of the attending doctor and the representative sent by the organizing committee negotiating outside the door.

"Natalie, don't be afraid. My cousin will definitely come soon," Lilian said as she sat by the bedside comforting her. Lilian was a spoiled girl who had rarely seen blood since childhood, so she didn't know what to do in the current situation either.

The organizing committee probably also realized that Lilian had an unusual identity, so they didn't assign her as an assistant but let her accompany Natalie.

Natalie requested, "Lilian, go and check on Casey."
Married to an Ugly Husband? No!
