Chapter 931 Father, Bad!

As for why the public opinion was wrongly directed towards Oliver and Natalie, it was for profits.
For a time, the whole country was in "turmoil." The shareholders who had sold the RisingKing Group's stocks at a low price were heartbroken. The companies that had terminated contracts with the RisingKing Group due to public opinion were terrified, and those waiting for Oliver and Natalie to fall from grace were disappointed. A group of people cursed the mastermind behind this public opinion, while distancing themselves from the Corporation family and the Liam family to avoid being implicated.
Meanwhile, the general public was busy speculating about who "Mr. Watson" was.
But who could have known that this Mr. Watson was Roger's second personality?
Upon receiving the news from the police, Natalie was as shocked as the netizens.
Why would Eugene turn himself in?
What exactly was he trying to do?
Natalie was worried and planned to go to the police station. At the same time, Oliver received the news that the so-called "Mr. Watson" was Roger, and he accompanied Natalie.
Why would it be "Mr. Watson"? Oliver couldn't figure it out. Since the police said so, it must be true.
"Natalie, don't worry." Oliver ruffled Natalie's hair beside him.
At the sight of Natalie's furrowed brows and eyes full of concern for Roger, Oliver felt a surge of frustration and annoyance, but he couldn't express it.
"Oliver, I don't understand what he's thinking." Natalie said worriedly, "How can he do this? Doesn't he care about what others think? Is using others’ body to act so recklessly the solution he mentioned?"
"Natalie, what are you talking about?" Oliver fixed his eyes on her.
Natalie covered her mouth in panic, realizing she had let it slip.
"What do you mean?" Oliver stared intently at Natalie.
If anyone else had heard Natalie's words, they might not have thought much of it, but Oliver was different.
Oliver had an extraordinary sense of sensitivity and alertness.
Oliver's gaze made Natalie realize she couldn't dodge this question.
After much hesitation, Natalie closed her eyes and said, "He's not Roger Wild but Eugene Watson."
"Eugene Watson?" Oliver squinted his eyes, quickly thinking.
Oliver was sure the man he saw was Roger. They have known each other for years and being able to rival each other, so Oliver couldn't be mistaken.
There was only one possibility that Eugene and Roger were the same person!
Natalie's words confirmed Oliver's suspicion. "Eugene is Roger’s second personality."
The idea of dual personalities happening around him seemed unbelievable, but for someone like Oliver, the shock lasted only a moment before he accepted it.
"Then this is indeed a solution," Oliver said.
"What?"
"Natalie, first of all, he's a foreigner, and domestic laws can't fully restrain him. Secondly, he's mentally ill." Oliver considered more than Natalie did. "Mentally ill people aren't held accountable for murder, let alone forcibly extracting someone's bone marrow?"
"Don't describe him as mentally ill." It sounded terrible.
"Isn't he mentally ill?" When Oliver said this, Natalie felt that Oliver was deliberately mocking Roger, but Oliver was indeed telling the truth.
Natalie pursed her lips and had nothing to say.
However, her worries did lessen significantly. Being a foreigner with a mental illness could indeed be Roger's trump card.
At this moment, Natalie understood why Eugene said he would handle everything and told them not to interfere.
When Oliver and Natalie arrived at the police station, they didn't see Roger, only a Western-faced man who claimed to be Roger's lawyer.
The lawyer, upon learning of Natalie's identity, reassured her to wait for the results, his confident demeanor suggesting that everything was under control.
"Oliver, this matter won't be resolved so easily," Natalie said to Oliver on the way back. "This incident has caused a big stir. Even though Roger is a foreigner and does have a split personality, his sensitive foreign status means the authorities won't just let him off easily."
Letting him off easily would be a challenge to the dignity of the domestic laws!
"There is a way," Oliver said, but he didn't elaborate on what that way was.
The early spring flowers at the Rosewood Estate were already in full bloom.
Since Lucas fell ill, Natalie's visits to the Rosewood Estate had been few and far between. This was the first time in months she had the mood to enjoy the early spring at the Rosewood Estate.
Everything seemed to be moving in a positive direction.
Uncle Liam stood on the porch outside the main building, with a maid holding Nathan beside him.
Nathan was exceptionally smart. He could not only recognize people but also cars.
He could always accurately identify his parents' car. As soon as he saw the Rolls-Royce Phantom approaching, he would start kicking excitedly. The usually mature-looking baby now was full of excitement and joy, making it hard for the maid to hold onto him.
Nathan couldn't speak yet, but he was very adept at shouting to get his parents' attention.
Natalie got out of the car and walked over with Oliver.
Seeing the soft and cuddly Nathan, Natalie couldn't hide the smile, full of tenderness and affection.
"Can't you say ‘mom’?" Oliver took Nathan from the maid and said disdainfully, "Nathan, are you mute? You're so big and still can't say 'dad' or 'mom'."
Mr. Liam sighed silently beside them, not knowing what to say.
Nathan was only eight months old. Many children couldn't speak until they were a year and a half!
"Oliver, you're talking nonsense again!" Natalie glared at Oliver.
Nathan was now too disdainful to respond to his teasing. He twisted his chubby little body and reached out his two little arms towards Natalie.
"Come, I will hold Nathan. He will be able to talk in a couple of months. Your dad is bad because he is deliberately teasing you!"
As soon as Natalie took Nathan, he immediately hugged her neck and nuzzled affectionately, showing a completely different attitude compared to when he was with Oliver.
Oliver received a phone call, and his expression changed slightly.
"What happened?" With so many unresolved issues, Natalie keenly noticed Oliver's change.
In that instant, countless thoughts flashed through Natalie's mind, ‘Roger failed to get acquitted. Something happened to Oliver's company. Lucas' condition suddenly worsened.’
Unexpectedly, Natalie heard Oliver say, "Natalie, Helen has gone mad."
Married to an Ugly Husband? No!
