Emily handed Natalie a schedule, which appeared even more filled than before, even without the fashion show outside of Paris.
For the past twenty years, she had seldom celebrated these holidays. The Watson family would not permit her, nor did she have the time. Part-time jobs during the holidays paid well, and she required the money for her tuition.

"I’ll probably have to celebrate with Oliver if he’s free," Natalie replied with a shrug, refusing Lilian
She could already see the dark expression on Oliver’s face if he had to brave the crowded streets for the New Year's countdown.

"I don’t have any relatives or friends here. Since you’ll be with Oliver, I’ll be by myself. It’ll be quite lonely," Lilian lamented with a sigh.
After a moment of thought, Natalie offered, "If Oliver and I decide to stay in tomorrow, would you like to join us at Rosewood Estate?"
