Chapter 1174 What the Bride Should Worry About

When the group got to the hospital, Tina was sitting by Flora's bedside, chatting away.

"Mom, does your head hurt?"

"No, it doesn't."

"Then why are you here? Is it because of me?"

"It's not. It's my own issue."

"When will you get better, Mom?"

"Very soon."

Flora was getting treatment and kept her eyes on Tina, like she was scared Tina might vanish if she blinked.

"They're here," Arthur said, hearing the noise and standing up.

Flora saw Natalie and Jane and smiled with relief.

Arthur got up, making room for Flora, Natalie, and Jane, then left with Oliver and Anthony.

After checking on Flora and finding out she was just exhausted, Jane and Natalie relaxed and asked about Tina.

"Tyler saved me and brought me back," Tina said confidently, showing no fear.

Clearly, Tyler had done a good job calming her down.

Jane looked puzzled, "Tyler?"

"He's Logan's son," Flora explained.

"Logan," Natalie said, the name ringing a bell. "Is he the psychologist who took good care of you?"

Before Flora could nod, Tina chimed in, "Uncle Logan likes Mom!"

Natalie and Jane were stunned, then laughed.

"Really, Tina? How do you know?" Jane teased.

"Everyone says so," Tina replied, her eyes darting around.

Flora quickly cut in, "Logan is just my doctor, nothing more. Don't overthink it."

Jane nodded, smiling.

Flora saw Logan as just a doctor, who knew if Logan saw Flora as just a former patient?

Natalie suddenly remembered, "Is Tyler the one who peeked at her bathing when they were kids?"

Flora nodded, amused and exasperated, "Yes. Tyler is five or six years older than Tina and very smart. If it were another kid who saved Tina, I might not believe it, but I trust Tyler."

"Smart, huh? Is he good-looking?" Jane joked, "Maybe he's someone who could be betrothed to Tina from a young age."

"What's a betrothal?" Tina quickly added, "Tyler is very good-looking!"

Jane, Natalie, and Flora all burst into laughter.

Luckily, this time, it was a close call without any real danger.

But for the three men, this wasn't over.

"The person behind this is Julia, Logan's ex-wife, and the daughter of the Icewind nobility. Luckily, she hired someone, and they found Tina obedient and didn't resort to torture," Anthony reported.

Arthur's face had been grim, and hearing Julia's name, he looked like he wanted to tear her apart.

Oliver had his own kid, and Anthony had once eagerly awaited his and Jane's child. If anyone dared to harm their kids, they wouldn't let it go!

Julia wasn't easy to deal with; she hadn't acted directly and had her family as protection.

But the three men knew this wasn't over. Julia would have to answer for this and pay the price eventually!

"Speaking of which, that boy who saved Tina, does he have feelings for her..." Oliver started, but Arthur glared at him.

"Logan's son wants to marry my daughter? What a dream!" Arthur said angrily.

Anthony totally got where Arthur was coming from. If Richard's kids ever wanted to marry his, he'd probably want to take Richard's head off too!

The big search in Paykston wrapped up quickly. Only a few people knew the real story. Some nosy folks tried to dig up info but hit a dead end, and those in the know kept quiet. The final word was: it was unspeakable.

Paykston always had fresh gossip, and soon everyone was buzzing about Oliver and Natalie's wedding!

The wedding was set on a private island, with the Windsor family covering all expenses from the moment guests boarded the plane. Oliver didn't try to keep it a secret, so it quickly became a hot topic, trending just before the big day.

Natalie's studio got flooded with messages from fans asking about the wedding.

"Oliver, can I tell my fans about our wedding?" Natalie asked, sitting on the bed with a tablet, looking up at Oliver.

Oliver had just come out of the bathroom, a towel around his waist, water dripping from his hair, making him look both relaxed and noble.

He leaned in, kissed her, and said, "Baby, it's your wedding. You decide."

Oliver wasn't into publicizing his life, so he didn't invite any media and chose a super private island for the wedding. Without invites, no media could get in or know the details.

Natalie looked at the messages on her tablet and then at Oliver. "I want to let them know."

The tablet showed several messages from fans.

[Natalie, finally your wedding! You must be happy! Although this wedding is long overdue, we reluctantly approve of Mr. Windsor because he seems sensible!]

[Natalie, take good care of yourself! Don't let unscrupulous media disrupt your wedding!]

[Natalie, your happiness is the most important! Although we're curious about your wedding, we won't disturb you! If possible, we hope you can share your happiness with us!]

Every word was filled with sincere blessings.

Sharing some wedding details might satisfy onlookers' curiosity and give netizens a peek into a wealthy family's life. But if it made Natalie's fans happy knowing she was happy, that was enough.

"What are you doing?" Oliver asked, seeing Natalie texting as he dried his hair.

"Talking to Jane. Her studio will handle the public stuff for the wedding tomorrow." It made sense to use someone Natalie trusted, and Jane's team was top-notch.

Natalie was typing out the payment when Oliver suddenly grabbed her phone and tossed it aside.

He got into bed, his eyes darkening, "The bride shouldn't worry about the payment, Mrs. Windsor."

Such trivial matters should be handled by Collin and the others.

Hearing "bride," Natalie felt a bit dazed and laughed softly. "We've been married for so long, what bride?"

"I'm sorry," Oliver buried his face in her neck, murmuring. Natalie didn't catch it. "Hmm?"

Oliver held her tightly, their bodies close, as if trying to merge into one.

He apologized sincerely, "I'm sorry, baby."

Though he didn't specify, Natalie knew he was referring to what happened back then.

Married to an Ugly Husband? No!
