Chapter 461

For the first time, these people were witnessing such a tender side of the hard and unyielding Oliver.

The senior executives at RK Group had to endure the president's persistent low spirits almost every day, and with each passing day, the atmosphere grew heavier than the last.

Several of them sought assistance from Isaac and Wyatt once again.

Having learned from the previous time, Isaac was unwilling to agree to anything, but after listening to the executives describe Oliver's condition, he felt that Oliver couldn't go on like this.

"Brother, how about we go for a drink tonight?" Isaac deliberately chose a time when Natalie was taking a nap to approach Oliver.

"No," Oliver declined without a second thought.

"I know you've been in a bad mood recently, and when you're feeling this way, you need to let it out. What would happen if you exploded? Trust me, just relax!" Isaac urged with all his might.

Wyatt, standing nearby, nodded in agreement. "Brother, let's go. It'll just be the three of us, nobody else!"

After work, Oliver dropped Natalie off at the Rosewood Estate and instructed the kitchen to prepare her favorite dishes with a focus on appetizing flavors.

At dinner, Oliver watched Natalie eat, like an elder supervising a child who didn't like their food which was a common occurrence these days.

"Oliver, won't you have something to eat?" Liam asked, noticing that Oliver hadn't touched his plate.

Oliver served Natalie another bowl of nourishing soup. But Natalie didn't touch it.

Looking at the bowl of soup getting cold, Oliver's gaze softened, and he answered Liam's earlier question. "No, I'll be going out soon."

Then he sent Isaac a text, accepting his invitation.

Half an hour after dinner, Oliver took Natalie back to his bedroom.

"How is the Lady going to cope with this? Oh dear, she's gotten even thinner!" Liam whispered anxiously to Oliver as he descended the stairs.

Indeed, Natalie had lost weight. In less than a week, her wrists had become even more prominent and her waist slenderer.

Oliver clenched his fists, the veins on the back of his hand protruding, before he finally relaxed. "Uncle Liam, is she using this method to oppose or punish me?"

Liam had watched Oliver grow from a child into a grown man. He knew that, despite his stoic exterior, he was in great pain inside.

"Call me if you need anything," Oliver let out a self-deprecating chuckle and left the house.

If it truly had nothing to do with him, Liam would undoubtedly have delivered a lengthy sermon of reason, but now he could only utter this one sentence.

‘Whose fault, was it?’

It certainly wasn't Natalie's fault. Even if it wasn't her fault, someone had to take responsibility for the mistake, right?

Natalie wheeled herself to the bedside, hid behind the curtain, and silently watched Oliver drive away in a Lamborghini.

A flash of complex emotion crossed Natalie's eyes. ‘He usually went to work in a corporate vehicle or a sedan. A Lamborghini? He must be going out for fun.’

Wyatt had reserved a table in the Moon Club's main hall. When one's heart is troubled, one needs the clamor of such an environment to empty their mind.

Moon Club, the hub of the wealthy, hosted a different spectacle every day. Yesterday was dancing with streamers; today is ice water bucket challenges coupled with exotic dances for thrills; and tomorrow might host an auction with unconventional items.

It may sound absurd, but the patrons here relish this kind of amusement.
Married to an Ugly Husband? No!
