Chapter 774 He Was Worried

"Move… Urgh! I told you to move!"

Natalie vomited on Oliver again, and the smell left her feeling mortified.

"I... I'm sorry."

Natalie's eyes turned slightly red. It was unknown if it was because of the urgency or another reason. She weakly gripped Oliver's shirt with her fingers.

Oliver, who was usually obsessed with cleanliness, seemed oblivious to the mess on his clothes. His only concern was the woman in his arms. He asked, "Are you feeling better? Are you still uncomfortable?"

Natalie shook her head, no longer feeling nauseous, but still uneasy. It was unpleasant for anyone to vomit.

"Oliver, I want to go to the bathroom."

She wanted to rinse her mouth.

Oliver initially wanted to carry Natalie, but noticing the mess on his shirt, he opted to support her to the bathroom instead to avoid dirtying her clothes further.

"I'll go by myself. You should go change your clothes first, or you'll feel uncomfortable," Natalie suggested, aware of Oliver's penchant for cleanliness. Normally, he would change his clothes at the slightest wrinkle, let alone vomit.

"No rush," Oliver replied. He helped Natalie sit on a small stool in the bathroom and said before he left, "Call me if you need anything."

"Okay."

Oliver quickly showered and changed in his master bedroom.

While he was supporting Natalie earlier, he had not felt anything, but as he showered, he could not help but feel disgusted—not by Natalie, but by himself.

He scrubbed himself with the shower gel multiple times. If he had not been worried about Natalie, he would have taken a bath and perhaps even used some essential oils for their fragrance.

Natalie did not shower but changed her clothes and sat on the sofa. She looked much better than she had earlier. She was coordinating the details of an event with the production team and Emily on her phone.

"Are you okay?" Natalie asked as Oliver emerged, ending the call.

"That should be my line," Oliver replied, "Are you still planning to go out?"

"Yes, the production team is waiting downstairs. We arranged this in advance, and it's a live broadcast, so it's difficult to reschedule," Natalie explained. Noticing Oliver's displeased expression, she quickly added, "I'm fine now, I was just nervous earlier. What made you say those things before?"

"I was just trying to scare you," Oliver replied.

Natalie said seriously, shifting the blame, "Yes, it's all your fault for scaring me!"

Joy and the production team had been waiting downstairs for half an hour, but they displayed no impatience.

The agreed time had not yet arrived, and Natalie had arrived early. Her attitude and demeanor outshone many top models.

"Miss Watson, we just finalized the contract on our phones. Shall we start preparing for today's live broadcast?" one of the team members suggested.

"Okay."

"Our team has rented an office space in the hotel. It's over here. You can touch up your makeup first. Here's a microphone to clip onto your collar. There'll be three cameras filming you during today's event, but only the red one will be broadcasting live. Just focus on that one. Additionally, we've prepared three introductions for your reference, or you can go with your own. This live broadcast will also be edited later. Our team follows a play-and-edit method," Joy explained.

After the introduction, Joy directed Natalie to the office to do her makeup and change clothes.

"Sir, you..."

At this time, Joy finally noticed Natalie's boyfriend, who wore sunglasses and looked like a male supermodel, shadowing her closely.

Oliver was dressed exclusively in designer brands, exuding the aura of an elite. He appeared distinguished and nonchalant as he held a pink water bottle, which clearly belonged to Natalie.

"Joy, can he stay with me during the live broadcast?" Natalie asked politely, "I haven't been feeling well these past few days, and he's worried."

Joy was surprised. A man with such a commanding presence staying by her side out of concern was unexpectedly cute.

"Of course, he can stay! Even if he appears on camera, it's fine! Does your partner want to be on camera?" Joy inquired, sneaking a quick glance at Oliver. His height, physique, and aura would surely captivate the audience, even if his face was not fully visible.

"No need. He doesn't like to be on camera," Natalie responded, thanking Joy once again.

Natalie entered the dressing room, while Oliver waited at the doorway, not entering.

"Natalie, your clothes..." Samantha said as her eyes shone with anticipation.

"I can speak French. You don't have to accommodate me," Natalie smiled and replied.

Samantha felt relieved and continued in fluent French, "Natalie, is your outfit designed by Wine?"

Natalie nodded.

Samantha exclaimed, "Wow! You're amazing! Many of my celebrity friends from high society wanted a piece from Wine but couldn't secure one. She actually designed clothes for you! Wearing your own outfit is even better than borrowing from the production team!"

Natalie remained modest about her connection with Wine, but her personal clothes, designed by Flora, were very distinct. By wearing this outfit on the show, she was indirectly promoting Flora, boosting her visibility and reputation.

Natalie did not need to change her clothes. With her flawless skin and delicate features, a simple outfit was sufficient. Samantha had an easy time, engaging in conversation while she worked.

"Natalie, you seem different from the rumors," Samantha remarked as she finished styling Natalie’s hair.

"What have you heard?"

It was the first time Natalie had heard such words from someone abroad.

"I was told that your social skills were lacking, but seeing you speak French so flawlessly, without any accent, is surprising! One might think you've lived in Forinland for many years!"

Natalie smiled, choosing not to disclose that she was also fluent in several other languages.

"You might even know the person who spread those rumors. Her name is Nola, and she visited your country recently," Samantha added.

"Yes, I know her," Natalie responded with a shallow smile, wondering what absurdities Nola might concoct next.

Outside the dressing room, Oliver was waiting for Natalie when he received a call from Isaiah, inquiring if he could visit the Norton Estate.

The Norton Estate was comparable in size to the manor.

"I'm busy," Oliver replied nonchalantly, leaning back in his chair, "Isaiah, if you're feeling lonely, why not ask Lilian to come back and keep you company? She's available."

Isaiah Norton was Lilian's father, and although 'Norton' was just part of their family's compound surname, he was commonly referred to simply as Isaiah Norton.
