Chapter 214 I Don't Like You Anymore!
"Anthony, I don’t have any feelings for you anymore. We’re no longer in a relationship, so please leave me alone. If you have physical needs, please find someone else. Don’t f*cking come to me! I want nothing to do with you; you disgust me!” Jane said angrily. Inwardly, she was terrified by the familiar feelings, terrified that her body did not reject him.
Anthony’s rationality shattered upon hearing these words. “But I only want you!”
Anthony kissed her domineeringly.
Jane had been raised pampered and had never been in pain. The only pain and suffering she had experienced came from Anthony. Whether it was in the past or in the present, he had always been heartless toward her.
Jane refused to give in, clenching her teeth tightly.
All of a sudden, Anthony felt a warmth on his hand. When he saw her tears, he regained his senses immediately. He held her and asked, “Do you really dislike this?”
"Anthony, in the past, I pursued you relentlessly and disturbed you. I even threatened you with my brother just so you could be my boyfriend. I knew you were reluctant, and it was just my one-sided thinking. I was wrong, okay?” Jane said emotionally, stubbornly holding back her tears, “Even for our first time, I climbed into your bed on my own initiative. Again, I didn’t consider your feelings at that time. I was wrong, and I’m sorry. I admit my mistakes. However, since everything is over now, must you continue to torment me?”
Anthony looked at her with an unreadable expression as he tenderly wiped her tears away, a stark contrast to his earlier domineering action. However, his voice was indifferent as he said, “Don’t you understand? When you make a mistake, you have to pay the price. What is the use of an apology?”
"What do you want from me? Can’t you just leave me alone?” Jane turned away, clearly not wanting to talk anymore. She no longer cared about their close proximity.
“You want me to leave you alone, but I don’t want to,” Anthony said firmly.
Jane stared at him in disbelief.
Anthony chuckled coldly. “I want you to love me like before, only me, no one else.”
"Anthony, are you crazy?" Jane struggled.
He stated, "Your resistance only strengthens my resolve."
“Keep dreaming.” Jane shook her head. There was no way she was going to love him again.
However, when Anthony kissed her again, Jane found herself unable to resist. Her body still seemed to remember him very well.
…
After some time, Anthony adjusted his clothing. After that, he instinctively helped Jane to tidy up her clothes as well.
“Stay away from me! Don’t touch me!” Jane attempted to evade him but to no avail.
"If you dare to go on another date, just see what I’ll do to your brother,” Anthony threatened.
"You're despicable!" Jane seethed with anger; she slapped him across the face.
Anthony felt that he must have lost his mind. Otherwise, why would he, fully aware he should keep a distance from her, send Clint to protect her, seek her out, and say those words he said earlier?
…
Meanwhile, a search was being conducted by several groups of people in the amusement park, which sprawled over six hundred thousand square meters.
"Natalie!"
As Natalie was searching, she heard someone call her from behind.
Oliver, still in his formal three-piece suit with his tie loosened, radiated an arrogant air. His striking features and authoritative aura drew attention, making him stand out in the crowd.
"Natalie, Lucas is sixteen, and Jane is twenty-one. Why do they like to play hide-and-seek like children?” Oliver said disdainfully. When he walked over, he held her face, making sure she had not been crying before he sighed in relief.
"Oliver, why are you here?” Natalie was stunned that Oliver came in person.
Oliver did not respond immediately to Natalie's question. Instead, he inquired about the progress his team had made in locating Jane and studied the park's map before issuing swift commands.
However, Charles said to Natalie in a low voice, “He left work to help you.”
At this moment, Charles noticed that Oliver was looking at him, and he quickly raised his voice and changed the subject, saying, “Don’t worry. We’ll definitely be able to find Jane.”
Oliver possessed exceptional intelligence and a remarkable memory. He studied many things in his free time, and it was not hard for him to find someone with just a few clues. However, this capability hinged on his ability to remain objective and composed. If Natalie were the one missing, his calm would surely be gone.
At this moment, one of Oliver’s subordinates rushed over and reported, “Sir, we’ve found her!”
However, there was no joy on the other party’s face. Instead, he wore a solemn expression on his face.
The subordinate led them west until they reached a theater. Its entrance was guarded by four intimidating figures.
Natalie's attention was immediately drawn to a man who matched the description given to her by Jane’s blind date. He was tall, with sharp features and looked fierce. He also had a crew cut.
Charles asked, “Sir, Jane is in the theater. The guards are from the Clark family. Should we negotiate with them?”
"There's no need. I’ll handle it," Oliver replied.
The Clark family, known for their military background and subsequent transition to a private military contractor (PMC), maintained a distinct separation from the commercial aristocracy. Despite this, their reputation commanded respect among the global business community, including wealthy businessmen and nobles.
The RK Group, although confident in its capabilities, saw no need for confrontation or to antagonize the Clark family unnecessarily. The notion of negotiation implied that, should an agreement not be reached, they were prepared to employ force.
Natalie, aware of the implications, wished to avoid any conflict between Oliver and the Clark family on her behalf. She quickly told Oliver to let her go first.
Oliver followed behind her while Charles made a gesture.
Several undercover bodyguards emerged to follow discreetly.
Before Natalie could approach further, she stopped at the theater's entrance.
"Miss, you can’t go in for now."
“Clint,” Natalie called out to the fierce-looking man with a crew cut at the side.
Clint looked over. He stared at Natalie for a moment before he said, “Natalie? It’s been years, and you’ve grown more beautiful.”
Natalie and Jane had been inseparable during high school, and Clint, who often discreetly protected Jane, naturally recognized Natalie.
Clint gave Oliver a cursory look, feigning unfamiliarity.
Meanwhile, Natalie did not beat around the bush and asked directly, “Is Jane inside?”
