Chapter 815 You Can Throw a Tantrum

"Tell them why I can't see them. I can't just let them wait at the door. It's not good for the hospital's security," Natalie explained.

"Oh, okay! I understand!" Lilian grasped her meaning and said, "After I finish explaining, I'll visit Casey."

"Alright, that’s great."

Natalie was worried that Casey would be bored or overthink things if left alone, so she asked Lilian to spend more time with Casey. She herself had other tasks to attend to.

Although Oliver had tried to keep her fall from the runway a secret, her well-informed friends back home had found out about it and sent their regards. She replied to most with a few messages, but she needed to ensure Jane and Flora were truly reassured, or they might impulsively fly over.

When the committee from Supermodel saw Lilian leaving Natalie’s ward, they eagerly waved their hands, calling her over. "Hey, can we go in to visit Natalie?"

Lilian glanced at the stern bodyguards and shook her head. "You need to get permission from my cousin first. Oh, right, my cousin is Natalie's husband."

"Who is your cousin?"

"Oliver. Doesn't the committee have this information?"

Lilian was in disbelief. Then, she said mockingly, "By the way, you can also call me Winnie. That’s what people here call me."

The committee members could no longer smile upon hearing this.

"Winnie? Is your surname Norton?"

In this country, the surname Norton was rare, and the influential and powerful family indeed had a beloved member named Winnie.

Was she Winnie?

Lilian continued to smile. "Alright, that’s all I have to say. Oh! As for those two troublesome women, Rose and Nora, don't bother trying to plead for mercy. Be careful not to get burned!"

After speaking, she left with the brand-new Hermes bag her father had recently bought her.

Lilian felt she had done a perfect job. With just a few words, she had made those people recognize her power, and they would definitely not bother her again!

'I'm truly a genius!'

Everyone looked at each other.

"Does she mean she's Winnie from the Norton family?" the person in charge asked a colleague.

"I think so. But what concerns me is that Winnie’s cousin is the chairman of the RisingKing Group. He's also part of the Windsor family in Yuuis. My goodness, are Mr. Windsor and Simon the same person?!"

"Alright, let’s go back. Let’s not worry about Nora and Ernest anymore. I heard that Natalie is pregnant. Fortunately, the fetus is strong and wasn’t harmed. Otherwise, we would be in trouble!"

"If I had known earlier that Natalie’s husband is so powerful, I definitely wouldn't have considered trying to protect those people. Luckily, I didn’t say anything!"

"Didn't she get divorced? Did she reconcile with Oliver?"

"Divorce? That was half a year ago."

"I once thought Natalie was too high-profile in her actions, such as living in a private villa, hiring a private chef, and bringing bodyguards. I thought she was too extravagant. Who would have known that she was actually being low-key!"

How many wealthy wives with a powerful background would not use their power to bully others? Natalie was one of the very few.

Casey's condition stabilized on the fifth day and met the standards for discharge.

Natalie stayed in the hospital for three days for fetal protection, but she chose to stay longer, considering Casey's condition, and left after a week of hospitalization.

Oliver arranged for a private plane for their return, but due to recent heavy rains, the Norton family's private airport could not be used temporarily, so they had to depart from the international airport.

Casey was temporarily unable to walk and was pushed on a wheelchair by someone.

Oliver embraced Natalie, protecting her in his arms.

She suddenly turned her head, half joking and half serious as she asked, "Aren't you worried that I've been pretending all these days?"

Oliver raised an eyebrow, gesturing for her to continue.

"For example, I don't actually want to be with you anymore, but I just want to provide better medical care for Casey. I hoped she could fly back home on a chartered plane and receive the best treatment, so I pretended and didn't make a fuss with you."

Oliver held the back of her head and kissed the corner of her mouth. "You can throw a tantrum, and you can scheme against me if that's what you want."

He indulged and accommodated Natalie, allowing her to lose her temper. This made her feel helpless. The matter of the concealed pregnancy was like a ball of cotton stuck in her chest, making her unable to breathe. He probably already had a plan to deal with her early on.

"Natalie! Natalie!"

Amidst the noisy crowd, a fierce female voice rang out.

This pronunciation of 'Natalie' was relatively standard in Yuuis, and it stood out in the airport of Forinland.

Natalie turned her head upon hearing the voice and saw Nora.

Nora had lost some weight, her skin was waxen yellow, and her hair was dry. It was unclear whether she had been struck by the cruelty of life or simply did not have the spare money to maintain her appearance and hair.

The surrounding bodyguards instantly rushed over and stood guard between Natalie and Nora, appearing wary.

"Now that you've reduced me to this state, do you think I still have a chance to lay a hand on you?" Nora sneered, completely unrecognizable as the former famous socialite. Perhaps that was why no one around recognized Nora.

"Do you have something to talk to me about?" Natalie asked.

Nora glanced at Oliver, who was carefully protecting Natalie, and could not help but find it ridiculous. How foolish was she in the past to have illusions about this man? He was so cruel and ruthless!

"I'm sorry. I really didn't know you were pregnant that day. I was just too angry, and I was just jealous of you. I didn't mean to hurt you," Nora lowered her head with embarrassment, her voice trembling with tears as she said, "The stage wasn't high, only 6.56 feet tall, and there were steps below. Even if you fell, there would be a buffer from the steps. At most, you would have bruises and scrapes. I didn't expect that wooden steps would have a problem."

Natalie picked up on the keywords. "A problem?"

"I saw your assistant bleeding, and I got scared. Afterward, I checked the steps and saw that they had been tampered with. The broken section was very smooth as if someone had done it in advance with a tool."

Although Natalie had been in many fashion shows, she rarely saw any issues with the stage. Normally, she did not pay much attention when the stage was being constructed, so she did not know the intricacies involved.

After Nora's explanation, Casey's serious injury seemed highly suspicious. If it had not been for Casey, it would have been Natalie who was seriously injured now. She did not have Casey's strong body, and she might have been left with a chronic illness, forced to bid farewell to the stage she loved.
