Chapter 1104 Little Kid

Ann saw the piano teacher out and asked what had happened in the music room. Only then did she get the full story.

The next day, Ann brought in three more teachers: one for crafts, one for jewelry appreciation, and one for art appreciation.

All three teachers left within ten minutes, each telling Ann that Jane had exceptional talent in those areas.

"How does Jane know everything?" Ann wondered.

Sadie, who knew more about Jane, said, "Mrs. Clark, Ms. Watkins was once the top socialite. She was smart from a young age and excelled at everything. In any competition, she was the one to beat."

"Is she really that extraordinary?" Ann found it hard to believe. How could anyone be that capable?

Sadie didn't answer directly, only saying, "But Ms. Watkins' abilities have been evident these past two days. You've seen it yourself."

Seeing Ann's reluctance and discomfort, as if she didn't want to admit Jane's excellence, Sadie continued, "Mrs. Clark, Ms. Watkins' intelligence is a good thing for the future children. Don't you think? So many people envy you!"

Following Sadie's words, Ann thought about it and realized it was true.

'Jane was beautiful, so her children with Anthony would surely be good-looking too!'

'Jane was intelligent, and Anthony was also exceptionally smart. Their future children would definitely be gifted and more outstanding than their peers!'

With this thought, Ann felt much better and even found Jane more pleasing to the eye.

When Anthony returned, he noticed that Jane was in a much better mood, looking quite relaxed.

"What makes you so happy?" he asked, casually patting her head.

Jane glanced towards the inner room, not seeing Ann coming downstairs, and whispered excitedly to him, "Your mom gave up on making me take those interest classes!"

'Just this little thing made her so happy?' Anthony couldn't help but chuckle.

"Why did she give up?" Anthony asked.

"Because I..." Jane stopped mid-sentence, her smile turning into a proud look. "I'm not telling you!"

"Who asked you not to stand up for me the other day? A man like you has no right to know," Jane said, dusting off the crumbs from her hands as she got up.

Anthony, seeing her pregnant belly, quickly supported her. "Be careful."

He was afraid she might strain her back.

Her waist was so slender that he almost could encircle it with his hands.

Jane didn't mind and happily went back to her room.

She looked just like a child on a long holiday, free from extra classes.

Anthony found it hard to imagine what Jane would be like with a baby.

She was still a child herself; how could she take care of another child?

In the end, it was his fault.

At worst, he would take care of both a little child and Jane, the big child.

After Jane went upstairs, Anthony called Sadie over to ask what had happened during the day.

After learning the whole story, he just chuckled, not surprised at all.

Jane's ability to always stand at the top was her true strength.

Word had shown in Southvale circles that Jane has been quite a formidable presence among the prenatal teachers.

Because the circle was so small, with only a few prenatal education professionals, there were no secrets.

While everyone was either amazed or shocked by Jane's abilities, Ann felt proud of Jane for bringing her so much face, but also worried about how to further Jane's prenatal education.

Jane was so excellent that it seemed there was no place for Ann to contribute!

The next morning, a servant reported, "Mrs. Clark, Aurora is here."

Ann had once regretted that the child in Aurora's belly wasn't Anthony's. Still, Jane had moved in, the joy and satisfaction of soon having a grandson or granddaughter felt more real, and the regret caused by Aurora gradually faded.

If Aurora hadn't come today, Ann might have forgotten that Aurora was once her prospective daughter-in-law.

In the past, Ann would have immediately had the servants bring Aurora in, but now her first thought was whether Aurora's presence would upset Jane.

She glanced at the time; it was only nine o'clock, and Jane usually slept until ten.

"Take her to the guest room in the annex," Ann instructed the servant.

Aurora's face changed when the servant led her to the annex.

Ann had once favored her so much, and now she wasn't even allowed into the main house. People's hearts were indeed the most unreliable thing!

But it didn't matter; she wasn't here to please Ann anyway.

Married to an Ugly Husband? No!
