Chapter 416 Murder
As it turned out, Tina understood everything perfectly.
When the anatomical models arrived, Tina accurately named each bone and described most of their features and functions. She even handled the pharmaceutical instruments with proficiency, although Arthur dared not to let her play with real drugs and instead used colored non-toxic sterile liquids as substitutes.
Whenever Tina encountered something that she didn't understand, Arthur would explain it to her.
Tina revealed an expression that said, "Wow, you do understand this!" For the first time, she felt her dad, the scoundrel, was somewhat useful.
"So, Tina, would you like to sleep with me tonight?" Arthur seized the opportunity.
Without a moment of hesitation, Tina shook her head. "I’ll with Natalie, and in the future, with mommy."
Oliver, who had come out of the study, overheard the conversation and gave his little brother a cold glance, his face displaying three invisible words, "You're useless!"
Arthur played with his daughter for a while longer before Oliver called him over for an important matter.
"This related to Tina is a suspicious person," Oliver tossed an envelope at Arthur.
Inside were two photos and several sheets of paper containing personal information. The photos showed an affluent-looking woman in her twenties, and just from her Prada shoes, it was evident she came from a well-off background.
"Julia?" Arthur pronounced the woman's name, learning about it for the first time.
According to the information, Julia was born into a low-profile aristocratic family in Europe and was Logan's ex-wife.
Arthur didn't know Julia personally, but he was familiar with Logan.
As a former doctor himself, just like any medical student would have heard of the name Logan - a contemporary top psychologist at only 27 years old, whose consultation fees were calculated by the minute. He also worked at several leading psychological counseling centers.
"Why would she have any connection with these people? Is there any news about her?" Until concrete information about Flora's whereabouts came out, Arthur didn't dare mention her name lightly.
What if Flora didn't raise Tina? During these three years of absence, there were too many unknowns and variables.
"No," Oliver shook his head.
The fact that even he couldn't find any traces of Flora meant that someone deliberately erased her existence from the very beginning.
In a vast sea of people, it is too easy to hide from someone.
"I also found out about what happened back then, it may have been a possible murder," Arthur almost gritted his teeth when he said the last word.
If this was over a year ago, Oliver would not have understood Arthur's emotions at all.
He was naturally an emotionally indifferent person, and the only bit of passion he had was reserved for Natalie.
But things were different now. If someone tried to harm Natalie, he would make sure that person suffered at any cost!
Oliver gestured for Arthur to continue.
"After three years, all the incriminating evidence has been wiped clean." Arthur could only have a rough idea of whom it could have been, but couldn't obtain any concrete evidence. "Whoever this killer is, I will certainly find out."
Oliver wasn't particularly interested in this matter. If it wasn't for the fact that Flora was Natalie's best friend, he probably wouldn't have the patience to listen.
On the night of The Designer's finals arrived, Natalie went to the school first to handle the early graduation procedures.
This matter can also be attributed to Cory Clayton’s help. Originally, the school wanted to refuse Natalie's early graduation because she did not ultimately complete the "Fun Challenge." If Natalie stayed in school for one more day, it would have brought more fame and intangible benefits to the school.
In the end, it was Cory Clayton who single-handedly "convinced" the school.
Since they had agreed to her graduation, the school specially prepared a graduation gown and a hired a photographer for Natalie.
Natalie held her graduation certificate in her left hand, and with her right hand, she raised the graduation cap high in the air, freezing the moment of her smile and joy.
"Natalie! Beautiful!" Tina stood not far away, bouncing with joy and flattery.
The school leaders had noticed this pretty little girl before, thinking she was a child of one of the teachers who came to the school to play, but who would have thought that she was with Natalie?!
"Natalie, is she your daughter?" The department head smiled and said, "She's really cute, just like you!"
Natalie replied, "Professor, how can you, against your conscience, say something like 'just like me'?"
Several other professors from the department noticed this and cast curious glances at Tina, amazed by the child's appearance.
"Not bad, not bad at all! Raise her well, and she could also make it to the runway in the future."
"I heard a few days ago that Natalie and Mr. Windsor had a daughter. She's grown up so quickly. Natalie, you did a great job keeping it a secret!"
"If I had such a beautiful granddaughter, I'd wake up with a smile every time I fell asleep!"
Natalie looked coldly at this group of professors and leaders, all in their fifties, without any dignity. She held back the phrases that she was tempted to blurt out, such as "It's a misunderstanding, she's not my daughter,"
"My niece is probably a medical genius, and you should be called 'grandfather', not 'uncle'."
"Mom!"
Tina was scared by the old men and hurriedly ran into Natalie's arms with her short legs. She was a bit scared and shy, turning her head to look at those old men.
"Let's take a few photos of Natalie and the baby together!" said one of the leaders.
While taking the photos, it happened to be the time when classes ended, and many students recognized Natalie and took photos of her with their phones as they passed by.
In the car, Tina curiously held her bachelor's degree certificate and Natalie had a bad feeling.
When she checked the forum, there were posts about her everywhere.
Post 1: [Really? Natalie's Daughter Has Started Kindergarten!]
Post 2: [Natalie and Oliver's Daughter!]
These people not only took photos of her interacting with Tina, but also recorded videos where Tina called her "mom" which was audible if the volume was turned up.
There are no secrets in the online world. The news of "Natalie's Daughter" quickly spread across the entire internet. Natalie had no energy to comment and contacted Oliver to handle it.
Half an hour later, the entire internet knew that the child with the heavenly appearance was not Oliver's daughter, but Arthur's daughter.
Some netizens commented on the posts.
[What? Natalie and Arthur's daughter?]
After a wave of shock and gossip, someone quickly stepped forward to clarify the confusion.
[She's Arthur's daughter with someone else.]
[But then why does the little girl call Natalie "mom"?]
