Chapter 145 Oliver, how shameless of you?!
In that moment when their eyes met, Oliver saw fear in her clear eyes, and he felt a sharp pain in his heart. Indeed, he had behaved atrociously that night.
He carefully lifted her and placed her on his lap, hugging her and resting his chin on her shoulder. He tilted his handsome face slightly, sniffing her neck and smelling her unique sweet scent. Then, he whispered, “Don’t be afraid. I just want to hug you.”

Natalie watched as he leaned back on the seat, looking casual and lazy. However, she could still see the surging emotions in his light brown eyes. After a moment, seeing that there was no movement from him, she finally relaxed.
However, just as she moved to adjust her position, Oliver suddenly stopped her, saying in a hoarse and magnetic voice, “Don’t move.”
Natalie stopped immediately. She called out with a hint of accusation, “Oliver…”

Oliver only smiled lightly. Just as he promised, he did not behave inappropriately.
For the remainder of the car ride, Natalie remained wary. She still did not completely trust him due to the broken promises in the past.

When the car finally arrived at RK Group, Oliver asked Jamie to pick Natalie up while he attended a meeting with Charles.
When Jamie arrived, she said, "Jamie, take me to the hospital. I want to visit my brother."

Natalie's visit was unexpected. When she arrived, she saw a doctor standing next to Lucas's bed.
The conversation inside came to an abrupt halt.
"Why are you here?" Lucas was surprised.
Natalie smiled. She remembered that the doctor was Lucas's attending physician. However, she was confused by the doctor’s seeming deference to Lucas earlier. Moreover, although she could not make out the words, Lucas had sounded stern and unfriendly.
After a beat, Natalie greeted the doctor before she chided lightly, “Lucas, were you causing trouble for the doctor?”
Lucas was an angel to Natalie, but she knew that apart from being academically gifted, her brother was also rather fierce at school. No one dared to provoke him at all.
Lucas sighed in relief when he realized his sister did not overhear his demand to be discharged from the hospital earlier. Then, he glanced at the doctor meaningfully before he said, “How could I do such a thing? I’ve always been good!”
The doctor chimed in immediately, “Miss Watson, there’s no trouble. He’s just discussing something with me earlier.”
“Is that so? However, Doctor, if he’s disrespectful, please let me know. He’s no longer a child. You don’t have to indulge him,” Natalie said. She was aware of how hard the doctor had worked to treat Lucas.
Outwardly, the doctor continued to deny that there was a problem with Lucas’ attitude, but inwardly, he was roaring desperately, ‘Please discipline your brother! His condition is not stable yet, but he threatened to harm me if I didn’t discharge him! You have no idea how scary your brother can be! He uses his intelligence to suppress us all the time!’
