Chapter 808 Do You Still Want the Child?

Natalie closed her eyes.

She really didn't want to answer this question at the moment, and she didn't even want to hear any related questions, but given the current situation, she had to answer.

Natalie answered, "I actually didn't plan on having a child at this time."

"Unexpected pregnancy?" Samuel wondered!

"I don't know, but…" Natalie took a deep breath, and when she spoke again, her voice was eerily calm. "Oliver didn't tell me."

Samuel joked, "It's understandable that he didn't tell you what brand of condoms he bought."

Thinking about that scene where Oliver held a newly purchased condom and explained to his wife what brand it was, he shuddered in disgust.

Mr. Windsor wouldn't do something so vulgar.

"He didn't tell me that I was pregnant," Natalie said.

Samuel's relaxed expression stiffened. He squinted at Natalie for a while, unsure if he had misunderstood.

"What?" he asked.

"He knew that I was pregnant a long time ago, but he kept it from me." Natalie laughed self-deprecatingly, and said, "I'm not even sure if I accidentally got pregnant or if Oliver intentionally made me pregnant."

She remembered feeling dizzy several times during the latter part of their lovemaking. Did he do something else? She didn't know.

Natalie remembered one time when she accidentally noticed the trash can. At the time, she felt that something was off, but she didn't pay much attention to it.

Who could have imagined this?

Who could have imagined that Oliver would tamper with this kind of thing?

Natalie looked at the sky outside the window.

The dark clouds covered the stars and moon.

Natalie didn't notice how livid Samuel's face had become at this moment. He clenched his fists as if he had been mistreated.

Although in reality, he wasn't the one who was being hurt.

"Samuel, thank you for stopping Oliver," Natalie said. "But I don't really want to see you right now either. If you don't want to leave, then please don't speak."

"What about the child? Do you still want to give birth to it?" Samuel asked after a while.

Natalie's hand on her abdomen tightened, but she didn't say anything.

Didn't want it?

It had been three months. Why didn't she want it?

"I'm going out. If you need anything, just ring the bell. Don't get out of bed on your own, understand?" Samuel reminded her and then stood up, adjusted the air conditioning temperature to a comfortable level, and poured a glass of warm water for Natalie, placing it by the bedside.

Natalie glanced at him, not quite understanding why he suddenly cared and doted on her, but she didn't have the interest or energy to explore the reason right now.

"Sir, the door is open!" Jamie spoke, and Oliver glanced over.

The joy in his eyes faded when he saw Samuel.

Samuel's expression was also extremely unpleasant. After he opened the door, he closed it again with a turn of his hand.

"Where is our Miss, Mr. Hastings?" Jamie knew that the boss was in a bad mood. Although he didn't know why the boss was being so deferential to Mr. Hastings, it was always right to ask proactively.

As Jamie was speaking, Samuel had already walked up to Oliver and grabbed his collar.

Samuel didn't look friendly at all.

"You come with me!" Samuel displayed an intimidating posture.

"Mr. Hastings!" Jamie called out, alarmed.

Oliver gestured, "Jamie."

Jamie, who used to be Oliver's personal bodyguard, had the initial reaction to go and knock Samuel down but was stopped by Oliver.

"You actually have some self-awareness. I’m shocked!" Samuel's sarcasm in his words was unconcealed.

Jamie frowned, but Oliver didn't say anything. He just stood obediently by the side.

"You come with me!" Samuel said, he considered that this place was too close to Natalie's ward.

Oliver glanced at the closed door of the hospital room, easily brushed off Samuel's hand, and said with a stern face, "I'll go with you. Jamie, guard the door for my wife."

Oliver followed Samuel into the empty and secure corridor.

As soon as Samuel entered, he threw a punch right at Oliver!

He punched once, still unsatisfied, and threw another punch.

He used a lot of force, showing no mercy at all, and blood flowed from the corner of Oliver's mouth.

"Why didn't you dodge?" Samuel asked with his mouth, but his tone and expression clearly meant, "If you had dodged, you would be finished."

Oliver wiped away the bloodstains with his thumb, leaned against the wall, and looked at Samuel's face, which bore a small resemblance to Natalie's.

He said, "How can I dodge if my brother-in-law wants to hit me?"

He knew it.

Samuel shrugged his shoulders, straightened his clothes that had become crooked from hitting someone, and showed no surprise at what Oliver said.

Mr. Windsor, from RisingKing Group, was supposed to be this smart.

"When did you find out? How did you know?" Samuel asked and leaned against the wall opposite Oliver, looking at him coldly. "Initially, I thought you were just a bastard who took advantage of Natalie. I didn't expect you to know so much. You really are a cunning fox."

"Not long ago, I had sensed it because your behavior was too obvious, but she was not a member of your Hawthorne group, and it had nothing to do with you, what kind of person am I," Oliver mocked Samuel.

The atmosphere of the conversation was very tense.

Samuel's anger was extinguished by Oliver's words, and he clenched his teeth and looked at Oliver for a while, then frustratedly took out a cigarette and lit one for himself.

He suddenly remembered Oliver was in front of him, "Do you smoke?"

Oliver raised his hand.

Samuel threw the cigarette from his hand to Oliver's side.

The two men who had just fought each other five minutes ago were now smoking together.

Samuel found it somewhat ridiculous, but what could he do?

He didn't even have the courage to stand up for Natalie as her brother.

Everything was because of the Hawthorne group.

Think about it, what did the Hawthorne group do to Natalie? His good mother even threatened Natalie over the phone.

"Tell me, are you dying soon?" Samuel blew a smoke ring and asked seriously.

Oliver wasn't angry, instead gave a look of, "Please speak properly".

"You need an heir because you're dying, right? Why did you let Natalie get pregnant at such a young age?" Samuel remembered Natalie's sad look in the hospital room and his gaze turned hostile again.

"Lucas has found a bone marrow match," Oliver said as he lowered his head to smoke. "It's Susan."

"What?" Samuel said and was shocked. "What a coincidence?"

"You think it's a coincidence?" Oliver raised his head, sneered, and said, "Natalie is your sister, but what about Susan? Samuel, the bone marrow match rate between strangers is one in a hundred thousand, while among relatives, it's one in four. Have you never doubted it?"

Samuel felt an unprecedented chill.

There was only one flaw in Susan's entire upbringing, and that was when she was kidnapped at the age of six or seven and returned home safely. The people from the Hawthorne group doted on her, almost keeping an eye on her at all times.
