Chapter 825 A Bulging Belly

Arthur touched his neck, wisely choosing not to ask further and pretending he had not noticed anything.

Considering the close ties between the RisingKing Group and the Windsor Group, Oliver and Arthur, as the heads of the two super conglomerates, were in complete agreement that if they could not reach a consensus, they would stop collaborating and find other partners. They would never allow money and power to harm the relationship between the two families.

After discussing the proposal, Oliver's concerns about his potential son were somewhat alleviated.

At this moment, Isaac said, "Arthur, why don't you bring your daughter out to play sometime? I haven't seen her in a while."

Arthur smiled and replied, "It's okay for Wyatt to play with her, but not someone like you!"

Isaac retorted, "I may be a scoundrel, but the women I associate with aren't fools either. We're consenting adults enjoying a physical relationship without emotional entanglements. Besides, I would never harm Tina!"

Arthur responded, "What if Tina is influenced by you? Actually, it doesn't matter. I'm just afraid that she will lose interest in men after seeing your true colors."

Isaac was rendered speechless for a moment. "Why do you speak so harshly after being away for a few years?"

Wyatt burst into laughter.

"I'll make sure my daughter stays away from you in the future as well. It's actually quite useful to have you as an example of a scoundrel," Oliver said.

"Oliver, you..."

Isaac's words came to an abrupt halt.

Wyatt was shocked. "Is Natalie pregnant?"

Arthur glanced sideways, suddenly remembering that Flora was taking Tina to the Rosewood Estate today. Most likely, Natalie was going to announce her pregnancy.

"Yes, I'll have a daughter in seven months." Oliver, who usually did not like to boast, could not hide his pride at this moment.

The spacious room fell silent for a few seconds.

Isaac exclaimed in disbelief, "Really?"

Oliver grabbed a pillow from behind and threw it at Isaac. "Do you doubt my ability to get Natalie pregnant?"

"Of course not!" Isaac immediately responded.

"Congratulations!" Arthur said, "My daughter is finally going to be a big sister."

"Congratulations!" Wyatt said, shifting in his seat.

"Congratulations!" Isaac said with a smile, "Shouldn't we celebrate? It's such a big deal. We should call Barrett and the others out to celebrate and have them prepare gifts!"

The fun-loving Isaac could always think of reasons to throw a party.

Oliver refused. "No, it's not convenient for her."

Needless to say, he was referring to Natalie.

"Oliver, don't you want everyone to know that you're going to be a father? Let them envy you." Arthur, who grew up with Oliver, knew exactly what was on Oliver's mind. Sure enough, after listening to these words, Oliver's expression softened.

Wyatt shot Arthur a look that conveyed admiration and approval.

"Exactly! Let's have an elegant party. It won't affect Natalie's pregnancy! In fact, it'll be beneficial to the development of the fetus." Isaac tried to persuade with all his might.

"All you think about are vulgar things. What kind of elegant party can you organize?" Oliver retorted. Despite these words, it was clear that he had agreed.

Isaac promised, saying, "I assure you it'll be perfect and won't affect the development of the fetus!"

In the end, Isaac spent a week preparing the 'elegant party that would benefit the development of the fetus'.

When Oliver mentioned that he would be taking her out, Natalie was rather happy. Since returning to the country, she had spent almost all her time at the Rosewood Estate. Flora and Jane had visited twice, and Lucas a few times. Emily had also visited, but it was to discuss work with Natalie.

Emily was convinced that someone as capable as Natalie, who had an excellent husband like Oliver, did not need to worry about losing her value even if she took a year of maternity leave. This was a common understanding in the modeling and entertainment circles—when an artist reached a certain height, they did not have to worry about losing the public due to a lack of exposure.

Natalie was still the darling of the industry even after all these years.

Moreover, Emily had a trump card—the top luxury jewelry advertisement that Natalie and Joseph collaborated on would be globally released next month, placing Natalie on an even bigger platform!

"Where are we going today? Who will be there?" Natalie asked Oliver as she stood in the dressing room.

"Barrett and the others," Oliver replied. Seeing her trying to choose the right clothes for the occasion, he added, "Just wear whatever you like."

Natalie originally wanted to wear a casual shirt with jeans, but when she changed her pants, she noticed her lower abdomen was slightly bulging, and her jeans would not fit. Since experiencing morning sickness, she had not paid much attention to her pregnancy. Liam and Marjorie were more nervous than her, but she did not think much of it.

She had been wearing loose home clothes, so she only just noticed the obvious changes in her lower abdomen. Left with no other choice, she changed into a light green early-autumn dress.

"Oliver, don't buy any more clothes," Natalie said, emerging from the dressing room as she fastened her belt.

"Why?"

Oliver looked up, his eyes instinctively scanning Natalie from head to toe, his gaze pausing at her waist.

"My belly is getting bigger, and I can't fit into normal pants," Natalie explained, relieved that the dress was designed with a high waist. Her belt was not tight, and unless one looked closely, one would not be able to see any difference in her lower abdomen.

But to Oliver, even the slightest change in Natalie was perceptible.

"Does it look strange?"

Natalie felt Oliver's intense gaze and self-consciously tugged at her clothes. He was looking at her, or rather, at her belly—it seemed his eyes were filled with surprise, tenderness, and even a bit of curiosity.

"No, you look great," Oliver finally responded, snapping back to reality and stepping closer to Natalie, "Your belly is bulging."

"Wouldn't it be strange if it didn’t?" Natalie gave Oliver a puzzled look.

'What a silly observation!'

After she spoke, Natalie stood sideways in front of the mirror, pulling the back of her dress so that the satin fabric hugged her figure, clearly showing the distinct bulge of her abdomen.

"It looks a bit strange," she muttered to herself. With her belly wrapped in the green dress, it appeared even more peculiar, like a small mound on a lawn.

After muttering, she glared at Oliver, the culprit.

"It doesn't look strange," Oliver said reassuringly, embracing her from behind. His tall figure enveloped her as he added, "You look good in this dress."

"Really? You're not lying to me?" Natalie asked. There was no woman who did not like being praised, especially by the man she loved.

Oliver wanted to say, 'I won't lie to you', but when he remembered that he had lied to her several times, he hesitated and only nodded in the end.
