Chapter 1173 Found Him

Under the pouring rain, people at the dock were evacuated immediately.

They set up a cordon around the ships.

Everyone was on edge until a loud bang shattered the tension!

Flames erupted from the ship, dust flew everywhere, and the shockwave was felt 300 feet away.

Natalie and Jane's eyes widened in fear.

"Flora!" Arthur shouted.

When the explosion hit, Flora's last bit of hope snapped, and she fainted, whispering "Tina" before passing out.

"Get her to the hospital!" Oliver told Arthur. "We'll handle things here."

"Got it!" Arthur said, carrying Flora to a nearby car.

Natalie stared at the burning ship, feeling dizzy.

"Can anyone on board still..." Natalie couldn't finish, knowing survival was unlikely.

"Jane," Anthony called, looking worried.

The fire reminded Jane of the Watkins family incident, which nearly consumed her. Jovan had lost to Anthony because he saved Jane.

For Jane, such a fire was a nightmare.

Jane stared at the sea, flames reflected in her eyes, showing no emotion.

After a while, she noticed Anthony watching her and probably calling her name.

She got what he was thinking.

"Let's go ask about the situation," Jane said, changing the subject. "I hope everyone's okay."

The rescue moved quickly.

Luckily, the port was evacuated in time, preventing many casualties, and the ship stayed afloat, reducing fire spread. But water purification and environmental protection were still needed.

Time passed.

Natalie and Jane stayed silent, watching the flames.

They knew Flora was most worried about Tina.

Collin and Clint helped with the rescue.

"Good news!" Clint and Collin ran over.

The four were startled.

Clint said, "The rescue team and the expert jumped off in time. Four are lightly injured, one seriously, but no life-threatening injuries."

"And Tina?" Oliver asked.

Collin's face turned serious. "Tina wasn't found."

"What do you mean she wasn't found?" Natalie almost screamed.

"She wasn't there," Collin said. "They found signs a child was tied up, but no Tina."

"So where is she?" Jane was furious.

"She might not be on the ship," Anthony speculated. "Either the info was wrong, or someone took her away."

Hope shattered, and efforts seemed in vain.

Natalie held her forehead, feeling a headache.

"Are you okay?" Oliver supported her.

Natalie shook her head. "Just anxious."

The search for clues continued.

The rain turned to drizzle and then stopped.

Oliver got a call from Arthur. A few seconds later, he hung up, looking relieved.

Everyone looked at Oliver.

"To the hospital," Oliver said. "Tina's there."

Natalie and Jane exchanged surprised, relieved looks.

"Is Tina okay? Why is she at the hospital?" Natalie asked as they got in the car.

Oliver glanced at her, his face saying, "How should I know?"

Natalie was speechless. "Didn't they tell you? Why didn't you ask?"

'Wouldn't a normal person ask?' she thought.

Oliver had his own logic. "Finding her is what matters; I'm not interested in the rest," he said.

Natalie glared at Oliver in frustration.

Arthur's assistant had called Oliver. The calm tone suggested Tina was fine. As for why she was at the hospital, Natalie and Jane would find out soon enough.

From Oliver's perspective, why repeat it? He wasn't bored. Besides Natalie, Oliver only cared about results.

Married to an Ugly Husband? No!
