Chapter 768 Heartbroken for Her
Anthony thought, 'Is she regretting it? Does she no longer like me? Has she fallen for Richard?' Anthony let out a frustrated sigh. 'Jane, stop fantasizing!'
Clint held his phone and contacted his men in Moalia. Suddenly, his expression changed. Anthony noticed this, squinted, and asked, "What's wrong?"
"Jovan is missing!"

After Natalie returned to the hotel, she sent a message to Jane, inquiring about her progress with Richard. After all, when the engagement party ended, she left with her "male companion" while Natalie and Oliver returned to the hotel.
Jane called and said, "No progress. I'm back at the hotel. Why are you so nosy?" she had no intention of hiding anything from Natalie.
Natalie laughed. "You know, I went to the engagement banquet because Mr. Foster called me and he was worried about you. He prepared the invitation and even arranged a private plane and route in advance. Oliver and I went directly there."
"I see," Jane fell into deep thought. She had never expected Natalie's sudden arrival to be related to Richard.
Jane had been through a long day. No one knew that Ann forced her to attend the engagement banquet. As for Oliver, he asked to come along because he was concerned for Natalie. He wouldn't care about Jane's safety.
"Are you touched by his efforts?" Natalie asked excitedly.
"No," Jane said, "Remember, Richard appears friendly on the surface, but he is sharp and ruthless inside. Why would I want to be friends with him? His sudden attention gives me the ick, and he seems to have an agenda."
"You make a good point. But isn’t he such a hopeless romantic?" friends always joke when chatting.
Just as Natalie finished speaking, she suddenly felt a chill on the back of her neck. She turned around and saw Oliver coming in with a plate. He raised his eyebrows slightly and looked at her meaningfully. "Hopeless romantic?" Oliver said softly, but his tone carried a threat.
Natalie didn't know what to say. As Oliver approached her, he put the plate aside and leaned close to Natalie's other ear. He asked, "Am I not a hopeless romantic to you?"
"Not in my definition. A hopeless romantic is handsome, young, strong, and gentle. Oh, this reminds me, I was foolish to fall for Anthony in the first place! But anyway, he’s already engaged to someone else, and I don't want to talk about him anymore." Jane was clueless that Oliver was right next to Natalie. She continued, "Natalie, honestly, if you weren't married early, with your beauty, gentleness, and the ability to make money as a famous model, finding a lover would come easy. It's such a waste for you to marry Oliver!"
Natalie couldn't think of the proper way of saying it, so she blurted out, "Jane, Oliver is right next to us!"
Jane was startled. After a brief pause, she chuckled awkwardly and said, "Okay, goodbye!" that was how friends were, they said goodbye shamelessly without any fear of making someone else angry.
"Well," Natalie turned around and was immediately pressed against the desk by Oliver. She awkwardly laughed and said, "Jane was just joking!"
"Your friend seems to love making this kind of joke."
Natalie had to admit she already had this conversation with Jane before. At that time, Oliver also heard about it. Both Natalie and Jane were unlucky.
"I’m eating the soup now!" Natalie quickly pointed to the bowl beside her. "Otherwise, it'll cool down." she had been eating oatmeal for several days and told Oliver she was getting tired. She had previously ordered some burgers and pizzas, but Oliver changed it to vegan soup immediately.
Oliver's eyes glanced at the bowl and then back at Natalie. He held her chin and kissed her hard, forgiving her for her discussion with Jane earlier. Even if she did want to find someone else, he wouldn't give her the chance. She could only be his for the rest of her life.
Natalie breathed a sigh of relief and quickly picked up the spoon to eat. She had never liked vegan soup as much as she did at that moment. But suddenly, the spoon fell to the ground.
Natalie covered her mouth and hurriedly ran to the bathroom in a panic. Meanwhile, Oliver's face changed dramatically. "Natalie!"
Oliver caught up and saw Natalie crouching before the toilet bowl, vomiting violently. "Don't look!" Natalie blocked her vomit with her arm. She had vomited her food from the banquet and the smell was unbearable. Seeing it would be so much worse. After a while, Natalie raised her head. Her face was pale and exhausted.
"Are you sick?" Oliver handed her a wet towel. He supported her body with one hand and wiped her mouth with the other, asking, "Should we go to the hospital?"
"No," Natalie shook her head, pointed at the dining table, and said, "Is the vegan soup spoiled? It tastes weird."
Immediately, Oliver picked up Natalie and sat her on the couch. Then, he smelled and tasted the vegan soup. "It's not spoiled."
"But it tastes weird!" Natalie muttered as she walked over, sniffing the bowl at Oliver’s hand.
As Natalie took a light sniff, she immediately tilted her head back. Frowning, she said, "It has a fishy taste! Can’t you smell it?"
Oliver looked at her for half a second, then sniffed it again and nodded, saying, "Yes, now that you mention it, there is a bit of a fishy smell. You won't be eating the soup."
Natalie nodded quickly. She didn't want to eat either as she felt the food in front of her would harm her. She felt like she was about to throw up again.
"What do you want to eat? I'll have the chef make something and have it delivered," Oliver offered.
Natalie had just thrown up so much. Although she tried to hide it, he still noticed her embarrassment. But Oliver didn't find it disgusting, rather concerned.
"No, I don't want to eat anything." Natalie waved her hand. "I'm a bit tired, I want to sleep."
"Okay." Oliver picked her up and headed toward the master bedroom on the second floor.
Natalie put her arms around Oliver's neck and happened to see her reflection in the decorative mirror on the wall. She tilted her head and examined her waist and abdomen. "Oliver, do you think I've gained weight?"
"You think?" Oliver replied, "I don't think so."
Natalie hummed, not believing his words. She continued to look at herself in the mirror. "I seem to have gained a bit of weight. Is it because I've been eating a lot recently or not exercising? Samuel said I had gained weight and I yelled at him."
"Who?" Oliver stopped in his tracks.
"Samuel." Natalie decided not to look in the mirror and determined to eat less from that moment. Although she couldn't do intense exercise, she could strengthen her yoga practice.
"When did he say that?" Oliver seemed to be very sensitive to any potential love rivals.
Natalie found it funny and chuckled. "It was when we were shooting for an advertisement. You also saw him, didn't you? Why do you even have to be wary of Samuel? My relationship with his family is terrible. Besides, Mr. Windsor, I'm a divorced woman. Not every man likes me."
