Chapter 651 Mrs. Windsor, This Is Called Charm
"What do you have planned for tomorrow?" Oliver asked Arthur with a somber expression.
"I'm taking Tina to the amusement park," Arthur replied.
Spending time with his daughter was important.
"Isn't Tina with Flora Lee?" Oliver had been at the office all day, but Natalie mentioned that Flora Lee was picking up Tina before he left.
"Yes," Arthur nodded, then smiled quickly. "So, Flora will join us tomorrow."
Flora Lee had just got her daughter back from Arthur, and suspecting some kind of influence from him, she naturally wasn't comfortable letting Tina go out with Arthur alone—at least, not yet.
Oliver shot his brother a brief, dismissive glance, unwilling to continue this topic.
"Come to my office; I'll be there in twenty minutes."
"Twenty minutes?" Arthur looked at Oliver incredulously, his eyes teasing, "What can you possibly get done in such a short time?"
He doubted Oliver would only need twenty minutes.
Oliver's expression was stone-cold, even frosty: "Are you leaving?"
After Arthur left, Oliver proved what could be accomplished in twenty minutes.
He could leave his beloved woman panting from his kisses.
"Arthur is waiting for you," Natalie gasped, pushing against Oliver's chest.
Her lips were exceptionally moist and flushed from Oliver's kisses.
"No rush." Oliver glanced at his watch. He had seven minutes left. Three to go upstairs. That meant four more minutes to kiss.
Mr. Windsor didn't want to waste a single minute.
"Oliver!" Natalie suddenly felt something unusual about him and slapped his side urgently.
She quickly glanced downward and asked, "How are you going to go out like that?"
She already told him to stop kissing her!
With a click of his tongue, Oliver felt sheepish about his body's reaction, more bothered by the frustrating feeling of wanting more but not being able to proceed.
"Natalie," Oliver said, leaning into the position they'd been in while kissing, his body pressing against her and his fingers gently caressing her cheek.
"What is it?" Natalie asked.
"Be with me," Oliver urged earnestly, his gaze intense with deep emotion, "right here."
Natalie pushed his face away. "Impossible!"
"Hurry up, Arthur's waiting for you!"
"Why should I rush? You were all up in arms about Flora Lee. Letting him wait a bit won't hurt," Oliver said, unmoving, his large hands beginning to misbehave.
The muffled sound of footsteps could be heard outside the car - dress shoes and heels, likely the company's employees passing through the parking lot.
Natalie had arrived low-key, parking in the regular lot, not Oliver's reserved CEO spot, and tensed up at the noise.
"Oliver! Cut it out!"
"Mrs. Windsor, don't forget why I did that last night," Oliver said, his gaze hauntingly fixed on Natalie.
Most of the time, he knew exactly how to handle her.
Because Natalie was too soft-hearted.
Natalie's guilty eyes darted around, "How about tonight? Not right now."
A look of satisfaction flashed in Oliver's eyes as he pressed on, "Is that all?"
"What more do you want? Isn't that enough?" Natalie glared at him.
After a few seconds, under his assertive and somewhat menacing stare, she relented, "What do you want?"
Oliver's lips barely curved in a smirk.
"Not in the car now. Later tonight, when we're back home," he paused, leaning in close Natalie's ear, and whispered, "Join me in the living room."
It took Natalie several seconds to confirm she hadn't misheard.
Oliver wanted to make love in the living room.
"Oliver!"
"Mrs. Windsor, call it spicing things up," Oliver said nonchalantly, propping his elbow on the armrest, his hand cradling his face, "It's a common fantasy."
"That's nonsense!"
"Well then, who doesn't have such desires?" Oliver challenged.
"Lucas doesn't," she replied confidently about her brother, whom she knew very well.
Oliver let out a dismissive snort, tapping her forehead with his finger, "You're blind!"
"What do you mean?" Natalie instinctively wanted to snap back to defend her brother, but she knew Oliver too well to take his words at surface level.
"Exactly what I said," Oliver teased, switching the hand that supported his face and playing coy with Natalie.
"Are you keeping something from me? Or are there secrets you and Lucas are hiding?" Natalie demanded, grasping Oliver's wrist.
"Sir, your appointed meeting with Arthur is about to start," Jamie reminded him from outside.
Oliver casually adjusted his tie, ready to get out of the car.
Natalie quickly grabbed Oliver's hand and said, "You haven't told me yet!"
"Mrs. Windsor, you reminded me not to be late," the man said with a newfound integrity. "It was also you who didn't want to stay in the..."
"Living room!"
Natalie cut him off, fearing he'd suggest staying in the car again.
In the living room, at least, the psychological challenge wasn't as intense.
"I agree to the living room," Natalie said, her cheeks flushed and a single finger raised emphatically. "But just this once. And you must tell me, are you and Lucas keeping something from me?"
"Deal."
A quick glimmer of amusement passed Oliver's eyes, but his demeanor remained composed as if he had simply negotiated a fair exchange with Natalie.
Just once?
In your dreams, sweetheart.
She couldn't help but think he was too upright.
In these matters, Mr. Windsor was famously shameless.
Arthur had approached Oliver about a merger and acquisition deal.
The goal was to acquire stakes in key fashion companies and major brands, potentially gaining board seats or control.
Natalie and Flora Lee were now prominent figures in the fashion industry. While RK Group and Windsor Group were involved in both the fashion and entertainment sectors, their influence was still limited. Both men were eager to conquer this territory for the sake of the women in their lives.
The fastest way to make headway into an industry was through large-scale acquisitions, but this method had a clear downside – it was incredibly costly!
However, money was the least of Oliver and Arthur's problems.
To them, money was just numbers.
Natalie pondered whether that thrill-seeking behavior was a universal male trait on the drive home.
She called Lucas to catch up on his life and gently probed whether he had intentionally hidden anything from her.
