Chapter 910 Are You Really Pregnant?

Natalie originally had no feelings for the Smith family, nor did she have any expectations. Even if they were cold-blooded, she wasn't sad.

However, after hearing Samuel angrily scold his own family for a full hour, she suddenly felt that Samuel was a bit pitiful.

"It was right for you not to recognize them back then," Samuel sighed once again at Natalie's wisdom.

Oliver pondered for a while and asked, "So, there's no way to forcefully bring her out?"

"No." Samuel's face turned stern. "If you just hire a security company, you could even resort to force. The bodyguards you trained yourself are much stronger than those people. But they contacted someone in advance. If you act forcefully, you might be accused of something like premeditated murder."

Bone marrow donation required the donor's voluntary consent.

Caleb was worried that Oliver might use extreme methods to capture Susan, so he made arrangements in advance.

"Oliver, don't act recklessly." Natalie suddenly noticed a gloomy expression on Oliver's face.

He had always been unrestrained in his methods.

Some had said that Oliver was a person who walked in the gray area.

Now Oliver stood in the sunlight, but it was Natalie who had pulled him over.

For Natalie's sake, he would probably not hesitate to return to the darkness.

Meeting Natalie's worried gaze, Oliver was stunned for a moment.

"Oliver, speak up!" Natalie's face was serious. "Promise me you won't."

Oliver had indeed considered forcibly taking Susan out just a minute ago. And he just still had that thought, even starting to plan how to do it without a leak.

He had never cared about his reputation. If he could bind Susan and save Lucas' life successfully to exchange for Natalie's peace of mind, he would do it. He thought it was a very profitable deal.

"Oliver, promise me quickly!" Natalie urged anxiously, afraid that Oliver wouldn't listen and do something irreparable.

This matter had escalated. Oliver's financial resources, power, and market influence had made countless people envious. While those people hoped to cooperate with the RisingKing Group, they also hoped for the downfall of the RisingKing Group, so they could have a chance to share the market and wealth it possessed.

"I won't." Oliver nodded after a while.

The three of them discussed and decided to contact Caleb first.

This kind of thing couldn't be settled over the phone.

Caleb and James flew to Paykston that day.

"Ms. Norton are here!" Jamie hurried over, looking uneasy.

Oliver frowned.

Natalie suddenly stood up. Before she could speak, Lilian had already rushed over with a bag in hand.

"Natalie, where's Lucas?" Lilian held Natalie's hands with pleading eyes .

Natalie saw that Lilian was anxious but otherwise okay.

At least she wasn't crying.

"He's in the ward," Natalie asked, "Lilian, how did you find your way here?"

"I went to Lucas' school to find him. His classmates told me," Lilian said, growing more distressed, "None of you told me."

Fortunately, her foreign face was known to many at Paykston University, so when she went to the school, others knew she was looking for Lucas and she quickly got the news.

Natalie hugged her and asked, "Lilian, are you prepared for this?"

"Yes, I am," Lilian said confidently, "I've been prepared since the day we got together. Natalie, I may be foolish, but I understand it all."

"We know you're not foolish," Natalie smiled and patted Lilian's head.

Lilian was just too naive.

"Go on, you only have ten minutes for the visit." The visiting hours for family members in the ICU were strictly regulated. It was only because of Natalie and Oliver's different identities that they were given a bit more leeway in Lucas' case.

Lucas heard the door open and thought it was Natalie.

He smiled and looked up, about to say "sis," but instead he saw Lilian, and froze.

"How did you get here?" Lucas' smile faded. "Did my sister tell you?"

"No," Lilian pouted unhappily, saying, "Natalie isn't on my side this time. She's keeping things from me too."

Before she could finish, Lilian's eyes were already welling up with tears.

Lucas panicked, wanting to hug Lilian, but his body, weakened by chemotherapy, couldn't move an inch.

He lay on the bed, at a loss, and said, "Lilian, please don't cry!"

When tears welled up, she looked even more pitiable.

"Babe, what should I do?"

"Lucas, I'm worried about you! You're sick and you didn't tell me. I'm your girlfriend, why didn't you tell me? Do you not want me anymore?"

Thinking Lucas was blaming her, Lilian fet even more wronged. She stood there with a guilty face, which would make anyone feel guilty too.

"Do you not want me anymore?"

Lucas was taken aback, remembering his previous conversation with Natalie about breaking up with Lilian.

"Fine! So you really thought that!" Lilian, who was usually not sensitive to cues, was suddenly very sensitive. "Lucas, how could you be that! How can you make me out to be heartless!"

"Lilian, let me explain."

"I won't listen!"

Lucas was taken aback by Lilian's fluent words.

Lucas decided to let her finish what she wanted to say first, then he would explain. Even if she didn't believe him, Natalie and Oliver could testify that the thought of breaking up had only existed in his head!

It was gone now!

To his surprise, the next moment, Lucas heard Lilian say, "Lucas, I'm pregnant. If something happens to you, our baby won't have a father. He'll be so pitiful! My poor baby!"

Lucas was taken aback, coughing violently, which set off the monitoring equipment on his body.

The alarm sounded, quickly bringing Natalie and others waiting outside.

As the door to the ward was pushed open, Natalie heard Lucas' incredulous question, "Are you really pregnant?"

Natalie was puzzled.

Then came the doctors and nurses rushing in at the sound of the alarm, fearing that Lucas might have a sudden change in condition.

Lucas kept coughing.

Natalie, too shocked to react, quickly pulled Lilian out of the room for the doctors to examine Lucas.

Several people waited anxiously outside the ward.

After a while, the doctors and nurses came out calmly.

"The patient is fine. He just choked on saliva," the doctor explained before leaving with the nurses.

Natalie breathed a sigh of relief.

"That scared me!" Lilian patted her chest, then turned to walk back into the room.

"Lilian, wait!" Natalie grabbed her. "You're pregnant?"
