Chapter 1169 Missing

Jane got super busy over the next few days.

The studio picked up a bunch of new projects, including two magazine covers for big-name celebs and an antique collection shoot for an old artist from Paykston.

In her downtime, Jane helped Natalie finalize wedding plans at the Rosewood Estate.

Even though Oliver was handling most of the wedding stuff, Natalie picked out her own dress and bouquet.

Flora cleared her schedule to design nearly ten different wedding dresses for Natalie to choose from.

After some discussion, they settled on a mermaid-style dress with lace cutouts and blue shimmering threads, giving it a noble and dreamy vibe.

"The wedding's next month, and we're just starting the dress now. Will it be ready?" Jane asked, a bit worried.

Flora nodded, having already talked to Oliver: "Mr. Windsor is paying seven times the usual rate and has three teams working in shifts."

Jane gave a thumbs up. "Top-notch tailors and embroiderers at seven times the pay—your husband is really loaded!"

"Mommy!" a cute voice piped up.

Nathan, playing with toys on the carpet, looked up, holding a small toy.

"Hmm? What's up, Nathan?" Natalie asked.

Nathan crawled over and placed his chubby little hands on Natalie's knee. "Look! Nathan look!" he uttered.

Jane and Flora both laughed.

"Alright! Nathan, take a look!" Jane picked him up and showed him the wedding dress sketches. "These were drawn by Flora. Which one does Nathan like?"

Nathan happily patted the iPad with his little hands. "Ah!"

How could a one-year-old understand any of this?

But Nathan was smart; whatever the adults were looking at, he wanted to see too!

With the main wedding dress decided, they still needed to pick bridesmaid and flower girl dresses. Flora even handmade a small satin suit for Nathan.

"What about the wedding favors?" Jane, familiar with event planning, meticulously checked each detail.

Natalie shook her head. "Oliver is handling that. I just chose the main flower, which is baby's breath."

"Then we'll just wait for the surprise," Flora said with a smile.

None of them knew it would indeed be a "surprise."

"I need to take a call." Flora's phone rang.

Natalie and Jane stopped talking.

"Hello," Flora said.

Whatever the person on the other end said, Flora shook her head. "No."

Her brow furrowed.

After a couple of seconds, she suddenly stood up, her face turning pale. "Arthur, be honest with me. Is Tina missing? Is she?"

'Tina is missing?' Natalie and Jane's faces changed.

The joyful atmosphere disappeared abruptly, and Nathan gazed silently at Natalie, his big eyes brimming with confusion.

'Why is Natalie suddenly unhappy?' he thought.

"Can you watch Nathan for me?" Natalie quickly handed Nathan to a servant and left with Jane to accompany Flora.

They drove straight to Arthur's house.

"How did she suddenly go missing?" Jane asked.

"I don't know, I..." Flora started to speak but broke down. "Tina has been with Arthur lately. Should I not have brought her back? I..."

"Flora, please calm down!" Natalie said, patting her back. "This isn't your fault. Don't blame yourself. Let's first find out what happened. Tina will be found soon."

When they arrived at Arthur's house, Oliver was already there.

Seeing Natalie upset, he quickly walked over and hugged her, patting her back.

"Behave yourself!" Natalie whispered, giving him a quick glare and pulling away. "What happened? How did Tina go missing? Where and when did it happen?"

Before Oliver could answer, a sudden slap broke the silence.
Married to an Ugly Husband? No!
