Chapter 320 It Depends on My Mood

Natalie's mind quickly became clouded due to the kiss. Even in her dazed state, she pondered over Oliver's recent actions.

She thought, ‘Is he still jealous?’

Previously, Natalie might have interpreted such behavior as mere possessiveness, but now, she sensed that it was different; it was intertwined with deeper emotions.

The intense feeling persisted until they returned to The Rosewood Estate.

Upon arriving, Oliver parked the car and then led Natalie upstairs.

The employee was shocked.

Usually, if Oliver drove, he would always park in the garage. This was the first time he left the car outside the main building.

Liam welcomed Oliver and Natalie with a knowing smile and watched them go upstairs.

As soon as they stepped into the master bedroom, Oliver pinned Natalie against the wall and kissed her passionately.

Natalie said, "I have an interview tomorrow, we shouldn’t..."

"Don’t say no, please…”

Oliver silenced her with another kiss.

Natalie added, "I really..."

Finally, Natalie managed to push him away slightly.

Irritated, he wrapped his arm tightly around her waist, drawing her closer against his chest. He said through gritted teeth, “I can’t stand your work! It’s causing problems!”

She tried to appease him, looking at him with her large eyes as she said, “But I enjoy my work, Oliver…”

“How many times have I told you not to look at me like that? I want to make you cry,” Oliver said, tracing her face gently with his fingers. His desire and longing were barely concealed in his eyes.

From the moment he first saw her, he found her eyes to be exceptionally captivating — clear, pure, gentle, yet strong.

It seemed as though all those with darker facets would feel ashamed in her presence.

Having known Natalie for a significant period, Oliver knew she was a pure soul with a spark of fire.

During the stillness of night, Oliver often experienced a sense of deja vu with Natalie, as though she reminded him of someone from his past, which he thought was impossible.

"I..." Natalie felt wronged. She was not deliberately looking at him in a certain way.

Finally, she compromised, saying, “Can.. Can you at least not leave marks in visible places like my neck?"

Oliver responded with a light chuckle. “That’ll depend on my mood.”

Natalie often wondered how this man always seemed to have the power to influence her decisions so effortlessly.

Oliver found a particular joy in witnessing Natalie's mix of frustration and forced calm.

Then, something caught his eye near the French window - the hanging chair. Although he had purchased it some time ago, it had not really caught his attention until now.

An idea sparked in Oliver's mind as he gently lifted Natalie's chin with his finger, proposing, "Darling, should we experiment with something new?"

The following day, Natalie met with Emily and the rest at the company.

"Natalie, while married life is important, could you perhaps take it easy the night before our next audition?" Emily hesitantly broached the subject after much deliberation.

Natalie's cheeks flushed with color. "How... How did you know?"

She had thought about denying it outright, but she knew she knew Emily would see through her lies.

Lilian glanced at Natalie before shifting her attention to Emily, wondering how Emily had managed to deduce the situation.

Sophia, maintaining her stoic expression, internally sympathized with Roger, who was suffering from unrequited love.

"The love marks are visible, and your dark circles are barely concealed." Emily sighed helplessly. She also had her own share of experiences in this matter.

Feeling both embarrassed and frustrated, Natalie resolved never to sit in that hanging chair to read again. Each glimpse of it evoked memories of those intimate moments.

Oliver had promised no marks would be left, yet her neck told a different story. He had assured her would be a one-time affair, but it extended past midnight! How ridiculous!

"Cover up a little more. Lilian, could you help her?" Emily said.

Curious, Lilian examined Natalie's neck, only to discover another on her shoulder as Natalie slightly lowered her collar.

"Natalie, does it feel uncomfortable?" Lilian asked as she applied concealer, “It looks scary. The ones my classmate had weren’t so scary…”

Natalie was momentarily taken aback. "Your classmates?"

Then, she questioned, "Then, have you experienced it before?”

Lilian responded honestly. "No, I haven’t. I was curious, but now that I’ve seen your marks, I’m no longer interested…”

Natalie could not help but feel she had inadvertently influenced Lilian.

"Don’t you really know anything about this before?” Lilian was much more innocent compared to her peers.

"No," Lilian responded, "I learned faster than my peers, so school was boring for me. In the end, my dad hired private tutors for me. It wasn’t until university that I attended regular classes, and by then, my classmates were older and didn’t discuss such topics."

"In time, you will understand," Natalie stated, genuinely unable to discuss the subject with Lilian.

Lilian, feeling somewhat let down by Natalie's reluctance to divulge more, resolved to seek information elsewhere.

As Lilian considered whom could she learn from, an ideal candidate came to mind — Lucas! He was close to her age, already in college, and as a male, he surely would possess a wealth of knowledge on the matter!

The appointment for the audition with Givenchy was set at their headquarters in France.

The team embarked on their journey that day, aiming not only for the Givenchy audition but also the auditions for three other prestigious brands, which Emily found. There would also be a street photography session.
