Chapter 298 Natalie, I Love You!

Charles brought a new iPad over to Oliver and played the videos provided by the production team, which were typically kept confidential before being edited.

Oliver’s expression grew increasingly somber as he watched the videos.

While Natalie and Jacob looked very ‘close’, their conversation clearly showed Natalie's thinly veiled contempt for Jacob, alongside Jane's cutting sarcasm.

Charles was visibly anxious, dreading Oliver's potentially violent reaction if he saw something he did not like.

Lilian, casually enjoying a lollipop, joined Oliver to watch the video. Although she had seen the live broadcast, she wanted to watch it again. As she watched, she commented, totally oblivious to how they might affect Oliver. “Jacob is hilarious, right? Many people said that this show is going to shatter Jacob’s image!”

“Just wait. Jacob is about to be proven wrong!”

“Jane really has a way with words. I feel so sorry for Jacob! Hahaha!”

“Oliver, did you see the way Natalie looked at Jacob? It’s as though she was looking at a fool!”

When she realized that Oliver’s expression was rather bad, she puzzled and asked, “What’s wrong with you? Don’t you think it’s funny? It’s awkward for me to be laughing alone.”

Oliver said, “Charles, take her home now.”

Seeing that he was in a bad mood, Lilian did not object and left her bad-tempered cousin behind.

Natalie said, “There’s no need to take me home. I drove.”

However, Charles still respectfully accompanied her to the parking lot. On the way, he said with a hint of teasing, “I didn’t expect you to side with Natalie.”

Lilian’s expression froze briefly before she raised her chin and said unnaturally, “What nonsense are you spouting? Who sided with her?”

“Alright,” Charles said with a smile. He was already in his thirties; there was no way he was going to argue with a teenager.

Lily unlocked her car, and the compact POLO’s lights flashed.

"I heard that your credit cards have already been unfrozen . I didn’t expect you to still use the car Natalie bought you,” Charles said, surprised.

“Since I already got it, why wouldn’t I use it?” Lilian wanted to use the things that Natalie bought her. Although the car was cheap, she was comfortable driving it. Although her current rented apartment was only the size of her bedroom, she quite liked it.

Meanwhile, Jane heard it was noisy outside, and she quickly put her phone aside and ran over to Natalie to see what was happening.

Not one, but two hearts, had been arranged using candles on the empty space below. Two guys stood next to the hearts, holding roses in their hands.

It was during school hours, so there were plenty of students around at this time. Many of them were drawn by the spectacle. Some even came out to their balconies to watch the show, and some were mischievous, waving their phone flashlights as though they were at a concert.

Natalie and Jane had yet to react when they heard the guys shouting one after another, “Natalie, I like you! Will you be my girlfriend?”

“Jane, as long as you agree to be with me, I’ll treat you like the moon and stars!”

“Jane, I have my own company! Don’t worry, I’ll be able to look after you! I’ve liked you for many years!”

Jane shivered. All her romantic experiences came from Anthony in her youth. He had never been one to say such cheesy words, nor would he allow any man to say such words to her.

Suddenly, someone shouted, “They’re there! Jane and Natalie are there!”

Following that, people began to cheer, “Say yes!”
Married to an Ugly Husband? No!
