Chapter 1065 Pleasing Jane's Planning Group

The maid suddenly understood and couldn't help but look at Jane with admiration.

The maid had worked in the elite circles for many years, but this was the first time she had seen such a transparent, smart, and domineering woman!

It was no wonder people in the circles used to say, "After Jane, there would be no other socialite queen."

"If anyone comes to visit around here in the future, just turn them away," Jane said as she walked into the house.

Jane had no interest in the social scene of the Southvale elite.

"Yes, of course," the maid replied respectfully.

About half an hour later, the delivery personnel from the mall arrived.

There were two different groups of people delivering, with two people carrying a large box and others clearly handling furniture.

The large box was delivered directly to Jane. The salesperson smiled and said, "Ms. Watkins, this is your item. Please sign for it."

Jane was a bit suspicious. "What is it?"

"Mr. Clark bought it for you."

Although she couldn't help but be a little curious, she opened the cardboard box and found a top-of-the-line photo inkjet printer inside.

Jane's studio had world-class printers, but they were large and inconvenient to keep at home. This one, however, was only the size of a coffee machine, didn't take up much space, and was perfect for printing everyday photos.

'Anthony has changed, to think he could come up with such a gift?' Surprised, Jane became more curious about the new furniture Anthony had bought.

Clint led the furniture movers to place the new furniture in an empty room on the first floor. When Jane walked over to look, the workers had already unpacked the furniture, and it was all baby items.

A baby crib, a baby wardrobe, a baby washing machine and sterilizer, a baby refrigerator.

There weren't many items, just some large pieces.

The crib was black!

The wardrobe was also black!

Jane was shocked that he would buy such gloomy colored furniture for a baby!

But this was Anthony's usual aesthetic.

The reason was clear—dark color was durable and didn't show dirt easily.

"Was that inkjet printer really bought by Anthony?" Jane questioned.

Clint touched his nose and said, "Of course, Mr. Clark bought it himself."

Clint muttered again, "If it wasn't bought by Mr. Clark, how could it have been delivered to you?"

Given Anthony's possessiveness over Jane, anything sent by someone else would likely never make it to her.

"Clint, you've changed," Jane said earnestly.

Jane added, "You didn't used to lie so blatantly."

Whether in the past, present, or future, Clint never had the right to speak in front of Jane.

Because Clint could never outtalk Jane!

Clint sighed and confessed. "Actually, Mr. Clark set up a special team at the company."

"What special team?" Clint's words were disjointed, but Jane had a vague bad feeling.

"The task of this special team is to come up with plans to make you happy," Clint said, finding it hard to believe himself.

Jane was numb. "Are you serious?"

Clint's expression to Jane was clear: 'I can't believe it either, but it's the truth.'

Jane rubbed her temples in frustration.

"Ms. Watkins, are you moved?" Clint asked.

Jane wasn't moved, but she was indeed too embarrassed to move. It was too humiliating!

How could Anthony do that? Did he leave his brain at home?

"Ms. Watkins, are you dissatisfied with these pieces of furniture?" The delivery manager asked when he saw Jane's troubled expression.

Jane closed her eyes tightly, still finding the baby items in the room very unpleasant to look at.

"Do your brand's products come in other colors?" Jane asked the delivery manager.

Jane didn't want her child to be influenced by Anthony's aesthetic from a young age.

If the baby accidentally inherited Anthony's taste, that would be terrifying!

At this moment, Jane didn't realize that she had unconsciously accepted the baby in her womb and was considering the unborn child.

"Yes, Ms. Watkins, please wait a moment," Clint said.

Clint was Anthony's right-hand man, equivalent to the vice president of the Clark Group, but when it came to matters concerning Jane and the future baby, if Anthony didn't handle it personally, Clint would definitely oversee it. Therefore, Clint was very familiar with the new furniture.

Clint took out an iPad and pulled up the product details of the high-end baby brand for Jane to see.

The baby items Anthony had chosen were all top products from this brand. Anthony had quickly decided on a new color scheme after looking at the furniture's appearance.

"Ms. Watkins, the crib Mr. Clark ordered is actually more suitable for babies over a month old. For newborns, I recommend this baby nest bed." Seeing Jane's interest in baby products, the delivery manager smartly began to pitch more products to her.

It was well known that mothers were generally more particular than fathers. Mothers would change things according to the different stages of the baby's development, but fathers usually had one principle: buy the best! If they couldn't decide on the best, they would buy the most expensive!

All salespeople knew never to underestimate a woman's purchasing power and desire.

"Baby nest bed?" Jane curiously glanced at it and was immediately attracted to this new type of baby bed.

Jane had never seen such a baby bed before. When Natalie prepared baby items, Jane hadn't followed along, so she was unfamiliar with these.

"This baby bed is made of top-quality velvet, mimicking the mother's womb, providing the baby with a strong sense of security and helping to train the baby's independent sleep."  The manager enthusiastically gave a detailed introduction and finally asked, "Ms. Watkins, which design do you like? If you order now, it can be delivered as soon as next week."

"This one." Jane decided quickly, as she always did when shopping.

"Great!" The manager beamed, knowing this month's sales target was within reach!

The manager seized the opportunity to introduce a few more items that pregnant women might need.

In less than an hour, Jane had ordered more than a dozen products.

Clint completed his "delivery" task and returned to the Clark Group building.

"Mr. Clark, Ms. Watkins has replaced some of the baby furniture you bought," he reported.

Anthony responded with a hum, not even looking up, as if he had anticipated this outcome.

Clint suddenly understood and had a suspicion. 'Had Anthony deliberately arranged for the delivery of these pieces of furniture to Emerald Gardens in front of Jane?'

Married to an Ugly Husband? No!
