Chapter 370 The Steamy Affair in the Bathroom

Tina bailed.

Lily was the first to pipe up. "What's Tina doing here?"

Tina's family was pretty average, and this club was way out of their league.

She had a hunch Tina was mixed up with some sketchy dude.

Even though they weren't exactly besties, they were still classmates. She couldn't just watch her crash and burn.

Robert felt a knot in his stomach.

Bradley, all chill, said, "Tina? She's got the looks; let's hope she doesn't mess up. Robert, why don't you go check on her?"

Robert was ticked off.

Bradley had a thing for Lily; he was definitely stirring the pot!

Just as Robert was about to say no, a sharp click came from the private room. It was Frederick, messing with a lighter.

The flame flickered.

His handsome face was unreadable.

Robert shivered. Frederick seemed way deeper than before, even though he was just a year older.

But his vibe was totally different now.

Frederick spoke up, "Robert, you should go check. She's Lily's classmate, after all. It'd suck if something happened."

Robert was about to get up when Lily stopped him. "I'll go with you."

Robert grinned. "No need; you stay and have fun!"

He left the private room.

Standing in the hallway, he pulled out his phone and called Tina. "Where you at?"

On the other end, Tina was fuming.

Robert had invited her, but Lily was there too. He was obviously playing her!

She snapped, "What's it to you?"

Robert stayed cool. "I'll wait for you in the restroom!"

He figured it was time to break things off with Tina.

Whether the drama was someone else's doing or Tina's fault, he couldn't keep her around. He cared about Lily and saw her as his future wife.

Robert leaned against the restroom wall, smoking.

Five minutes later, Tina showed up.

She'd dressed to kill today, looking super hot. Even though she was mad, she still leaned on his shoulder and asked, "When are you gonna take me out in the open?"

Robert stubbed out his cigarette.

He pulled a card from his wallet and handed it to her. "Let's end this. There's $500,000 on this card for the time we've spent together."

Tina was floored.

Just because of a random run-in, he was ready to dump her?

She didn't take the card. Instead, she asked, "Can you really let me go? Don't you remember how good it feels when we're together?"

As she spoke, she wrapped her arms around his neck.

Lily had her period lately, and Robert hadn't had any action for a while. Tina's teasing made him lose control. He grabbed the back of her head, kissing her as he led her into a restroom stall.

Soon, the sounds of passion filled the air.

Back in the private room, Robert still hadn't returned.

Lily was clearly distracted.

Bradley was trying to comfort her.

Frederick spoke slowly, "Bradley, why don't you take Lily to check on him?"

Bradley was taken aback. When did Frederick get so helpful?

But he was game.

So, Bradley took Lily outside. She called Robert several times, but he didn't answer. She was getting anxious. "Could he be in another private room, having a fight with someone?"

Bradley chuckled.

He checked each private room but found no one.

Just as he was about to give up, there was a loud noise from the restroom, like people having sex. Bradley first frowned, then chuckled and lightly coughed. "Lily, wait out here."

Lily heard it too.

Her face turned a bit red.

But the man's panting sounded so familiar.

Her face slowly drained of color. Suddenly, she grabbed Bradley's arm tightly, her voice trembling. "Bradley, no!"

Bradley looked down at her.

Lily's delicate fingers had also lost color.

After a long pause, Bradley slowly asked her, "Are you sure you don't want to go? Cheating before marriage, and possibly with someone close to you, can you handle that?"

Twenty-year-old Lily loved Robert a lot.

But she was also a girl with pride and dignity.

In the end, she leaned against the wall and softly said, "Bradley, you go in. If it's him and Tina, don't take pictures or make a scene. Let's keep the last bit of dignity."

Bradley's gaze deepened.

He raised his hand and gently touched her hair.

Lily looked up at him, tears in her eyes.

Bradley agreed.

Bradley kicked open the restroom stall door, catching Robert and Tina in the act.

Robert was caught off guard.

Bradley leaned against the opposite wall, lit a cigarette, took a drag, and smirked. "Lily said if it was you and Tina, I shouldn't take pics or make a scene. She wanted to leave you some dignity, but Robert, you didn't leave her any."

Robert's face went pale.

He hurried to fasten his belt and tried to leave, but Bradley blocked him. "You haven't finished your business. Why not continue?"

Robert was so flustered his ears turned red. "Let me explain to Lily!"

Bradley was fuming too.

He tossed the cigarette to the ground, stomped it out, and sneered. "Explain what? That you love her emotionally but can physically mess around, even doing this with her classmate in a restroom? Robert, you're disgusting. I despise you!"

Robert threw the first punch.

Bradley, of course, wasn't scared.

He felt bad for Lily and wanted to beat Robert into the hospital.

On the side, Tina's face was still flushed. She adjusted her dress and initially wanted to leave, but then she decided to stay.

This was her chance.

Lily wouldn't want Robert anymore. As long as she kept a low profile, Robert would eventually accept her.

After seeing blood, Tina calmly walked out.

Lily was still outside, her face pale, her eyes slightly red.

She had just texted Charlotte: [Robert and Tina are having an affair!]

Tina came out.

Lily felt awful. She didn't like Tina, but she sympathized with Tina's parents, so she always secretly helped Tina.

But Tina was cavorting with Robert.

Lily's lips trembled as she asked, "When did you two start?"

Tina smiled faintly.

"More than half a year ago! He's been good to me. He paid my tuition, my living expenses, and even accompanied me to buy my dresses and underwear."

Lily felt nauseous. She had always thought her relationship with Robert was enviable, but behind her back, it was so disgraceful.

Robert was supporting another woman, right under her nose.

The dim light made her face look even paler.

She knew Tina's intentions; she just wanted to be Robert's girlfriend. But Lily didn't care and didn't want to compete.

Lily ignored her and walked inside. "Bradley, that's enough!"

As soon as she spoke, Robert was slightly stunned and got punched hard by Bradley.

Robert didn't care about his injured face and ran over to grab Lily's shoulders, anxiously saying, "Lily, let me explain."

Lily pushed him away.

She calmly said, "There's nothing to explain. Let's break up!" Then she turned and left.

Bradley followed her.

Robert, unwilling to give up, grabbed her arm, his tone angry. "Lily, don't regret this! Do you think you can find another boyfriend like me?"

Lily shook off his hand. Her lips trembled, her voice sharp. "Robert, do you think I'm with you for your money? Let me tell you, I don't care!"

As she spoke, she took off the watch on her slender wrist.

It matched the one on Robert's wrist, worth over a million dollars.

The diamond watch fell to the ground, shattering into pieces.

Lily's voice softened. "Robert, we're done. I can never forgive you."

"Is it because of him?" Robert suddenly asked. He pointed at Bradley. "Because you found someone better, you decided to break up so quickly! Congratulations, you found the next guy so fast. Are you going to rush to a hotel tonight?"

A slap landed on his face.

Lily was trembling all over. "Robert, I'm not you!"

Robert wanted to say something more.

Bradley took off his jacket, wrapped it around Lily, and softly said, "You need a quiet place to sleep."

Lily's emotions had reached their limit.

Fortunately, Charlotte arrived at that moment.

As soon as she saw Lily, she supported her. "Come to my place! I'll have Maria make you some soup."

It was late, and Lily felt it would be a bother.

Frederick came out of the private room. When he saw Charlotte, his expression softened.

He tossed her the car keys. "Wait for me in the car!"

Charlotte looked at him.

Tonight, Frederick seemed different, more carefree than usual, but she didn't smell any alcohol or women's perfume on him, which made her quite satisfied.

Frederick patted her head.
