Chapter 910 The News of Their Marriage, Overwhelming

Sienna whispered, "I don't know what to say."

Bruce didn't respond with words. Instead, he gently pulled her against his chest, letting her listen to his heartbeat.

He felt a sense of comfort and peace being with her.

Maybe it was because they had similar upbringings.

Aside from their previous argument, they never really fought. What used to feel dull and boring now felt completely different—comfortable.

After holding each other for a while, Bruce leaned down and kissed Sienna.

Dinner was about to be served, so he didn't take things further, but the kiss stirred his desires.

Just then, a knock came from the door. "Mr. Taylor, is it time for dinner?"

Bruce looked down at Sienna in his arms.

They were both a bit disheveled. Sienna's shirt was unbuttoned, revealing a black lace bra.

Though Bruce wasn't one to hold back, he respected her. He kissed her lips softly and called out, "Yeah, we're ready!"

Footsteps retreated down the hallway as the housekeeper left.

Sienna pushed him away.

Bruce propped himself up, chuckling as he helped button her shirt.

He couldn't help but brush a few stray hairs from her face and tease, "I'll make it up to you tonight."

Sienna kicked him playfully.

Though she acted indifferent, they both knew she enjoyed his touch, his kisses, and even being intimate with him.

But women always play coy.

They went downstairs for dinner, and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Bruce, having taken a nap, felt much more refreshed. He shared many amusing stories from his time studying abroad, stories he rarely talked about before.

Their previous relationship had been more about the physical, with few tender moments like this.

Bruce even opened a bottle of red wine.

They weren't in a rush; they just enjoyed the moment, not thinking about the future. This moment was pure happiness.

Bruce knew he had quietly won Sienna's heart.

After dinner, he mentioned the movie he had just watched and invited Sienna to watch it again with him.

Sienna didn't refuse; she was planning to stay the night anyway.

They shared their bodies on the couch.

Sweaty and entwined, they later switched to watching the news.

The financial news reported on their upcoming wedding.

Bruce looked down at Sienna, asking if she wanted to handle any PR. Sienna softly said no. She didn't ask him to treat her well.

Promises were never as reliable as reality.

Sienna chose to stay true to her feelings.

They didn't make grand vows, but there was more affection than before. Bruce knew they were a good match.

At an appropriate time, the Taylor family visited the Hawkins family again to finalize the wedding plans.

News of their impending marriage spread everywhere.

Everyone was pleased with the outcome, except for one person—Freya.

She had gone off to study, holding onto hope.

Freya thought that once she finished her studies and joined the Taylor Group, she could still be close to Bruce, and they might still have a chance.

But she hadn't expected that in just two short months, Bruce and Sienna would be getting married.

How could she accept that?

At the Taylor Group.

Bruce was handling some documents when Anna knocked and entered.

She hesitated before saying, "Mr. Taylor, Freya wants to see you. I've tried to persuade her to leave, but she won't."

Bruce paused, then set down his gold pen.

After a moment, he said, "Let her in."

Anna went to fetch Freya.

A moment later, Freya walked in.

She had clearly made an effort to look her best, but she still appeared worn out, showing the strain of the past few days.

The first thing she said upon seeing Bruce was, "You're marrying Sienna?"

Bruce sat behind his desk.

He was impeccably dressed, with an air of detachment, showing no trace of the warmth he once had.

Bruce replied calmly, "Yes."

Freya's voice faltered. "You don't love Sienna! You're only marrying her because she's a good match for you. Bruce, you once said being with me was fun and exciting."

"I love her now."

Bruce's response was straightforward.

He looked at Freya, guessing her thoughts, and asked, "Do you have any requests? You can tell me."

He was willing to take responsibility for his past, even though he and Freya never reached the point of marriage.

He didn't want Freya to bother Sienna anymore.

So, Bruce was willing to compromise.

Freya bit her lip and softly said, "I want to go abroad. I want you to visit me at least twice a year, and I want us to have a child."

Bruce laughed in anger.
