Chapter 968 BruceSienna Finale 3
Sienna gently touched the items, whispering, "I'll keep these safe for you. Maybe someday, I'll have to return them."
Bruce didn't argue like he used to. He just stared at her intently.
Sienna was puzzled.
He smiled faintly and said, "We gotta leave after dinner."
After he spoke, there was a long silence between them, filled with reluctance. They had agreed on a year apart, but in the past six months, they had been living separately. How could they not miss each other?
The atmosphere was a bit somber.
Bruce's gaze was deep as he reached out to Sienna. "Come here, let me hold you."
It had been a long time since they last saw each other. This rare moment alone together felt too rushed for anything more intimate, but a hug was comforting. Sienna hesitated for a moment before finally leaning against his shoulder.
Her skin pressed against his high-quality shirt, feeling very comfortable.
Bruce leaned against the headboard, closing his eyes lightly. Occasionally, he would open his eyes to look down at Sienna in his arms. He thought that when he wasn't so busy, he should spend more time with her and take Will on a trip around the world.
He wanted to make up for what he had missed with her.
Sienna understood his thoughts and whispered, "When I'm busy, I don't think about it as much."
He looked at her, his eyes full of affection.
Sienna suddenly understood.
She could see that Bruce's feelings for her were the deepest they had ever been since they met, even though they didn't see each other every day.
She suddenly spoke softly, "I love my work!"
He touched her waist and chuckled with his eyes closed, "Shouldn't you love me the most?"
Sienna had no strength to argue.
Bruce suddenly became playful, longing to be close to her. He pulled her onto his lap, scattering the jewelry across the bed, and they explored each other's bodies in the sunlight.
His handsome face flushed slightly, trembling with restraint, but he didn't go all the way, just enough to make her feel comfortable.
Outside the bedroom, footsteps sounded.
Then, there was a knock on the door. It was the servant calling them for dinner. "Mr. Taylor, Mrs. Sienna Taylor, Mrs. Marcella Taylor asked me to invite you to dinner."
"Got it!"
Bruce's voice was slightly hoarse. He looked down at her disheveled appearance. "Do you want more?"
Sienna was still in the afterglow.
Hearing this, she reached out and punched his shoulder.
They were both exhausted.
After dinner, Bruce returned to work.
They continued living apart.
A month later, near the New Year, Raymond's health deteriorated. Two days before he passed, Bruce returned, bringing two suitcases with him.
In the twilight, Marcella wiped her tears. "Go see Grandpa. He's been asking for you."
Will could walk now.
He recognized Bruce and broke free from Sienna's hand, wobbling over to Bruce and hugging his leg, calling out affectionately.
Bruce bent down to pick up Will.
As he held the warm little body, he felt a sense of home like never before. He looked at Sienna in the fading light, and she smiled back at him.
He walked over with Will in his arms and took Sienna's hand.
Her palm was slightly cool, showing she had been waiting for him for a while.
Bruce squeezed her hand, silently giving her warmth.
Time was long, and he thought he would eventually understand what she truly wanted. They would keep adjusting to each other and become a loving couple like his parents.
Bruce longed for that, more than ever, to live a happy married life with Sienna.
Because he loved her!
