Chapter 960 Sienna, You Don't Need to Change, I Just Like You This Way

Sienna was still asleep.

Bruce pulled her up, and even though she kicked at him, it was no use. He wrapped her up in the blanket and held her close, grumbling softly, "Are you guys in showbiz even real men? How can you just throw yourselves at anyone with money, no matter the gender?"

Sienna was half-awake, her eyes barely open to slits.

At first, she complained about Bruce, but once she fully woke up, her eyes widened, and she asked with a hint of gossip, "It was Eldon, right? Did he come over and ask you to sleep with him?"

Bruce shuddered at the thought.

He asked Sienna seriously, "Do I look like someone who would be into guys, who would have a gay relationship?"

Sienna looked at him.

After a long pause, she leaned comfortably against Bruce's shoulder and started sharing some insider secrets from the industry, "Some rich guys are pretty twisted. They're not necessarily gay, but they like to sleep with popular male stars, the more famous, the better. Afterward, they give them resources. Of course, they’re not as devoted as Cordelia. Often, they’ll keep both male and female stars at the same time, sometimes even making them serve the benefactor together."

Bruce was a career-driven man.

He never supported celebrities, so he had no idea about these things.

He looked at Sienna, frowning, "How do you know all this?"

Bruce certainly didn't suspect Sienna needed to be kept. If anything, she was more likely to be the one keeping others. He just felt sorry for her, sorry that someone with such a good background and character had to work in this tainted industry.

He started to think about asking her to leave the industry.

But before he could say anything, he stopped himself.

He had promised not to interfere with her life or her work.

He didn't want to upset Sienna.

Sienna, however, said calmly, "My agent gossips a lot! Anouk tells me all the big and small things in the industry. Bruce, you don't need to worry. With my background, no one can force me into anything I don't want. These things don't affect me."

"As for the film industry, maybe after this movie, I'll retire and do something else."

She looked serene. "Maybe I'll move behind the scenes."

She continued, "Lola has taken over Vertex Innovations Group, and Kingsley has taken over the Hawkins Group. The business my mom built over the years hasn't had anyone to take it over. She gets a bit busy sometimes. I want to take over those responsibilities and give her a break. Otherwise, people in the industry will say I'm her lazy daughter."

"Bruce, have you ever watched Animal Planet?"

"There was a lioness named Anna who used to be a lazy daughter. She was very cute but got a lot of complaints. I think I'm a lot like Anna."

She smiled softly as she said this.

When she talked about her family, her expression was indescribably gentle. Bruce loved seeing her like this and couldn't help but be captivated. He held her close and said softly, "I don't think you're lazy. I think your laid-back attitude is great, and I love it! Sienna, don't change yourself for anyone else."

Sienna blurted out, "That's just you seeing me through rose-colored glasses."

As soon as she said it, she regretted it.

She looked at Bruce, wanting to take back her words, but didn't know how.

Bruce looked down at her, his gaze tender. He slowly leaned in and kissed her lips, his voice husky, "You're right. I do see you through rose-colored glasses. Sienna, I like you!"

"Like" was more tender and pure than "love."

He thought he loved her, but he liked her even more, liked everything about her.

Sienna looked into his deep eyes, knowing he wanted her again. She pushed against his shoulder, complaining, "Weren't we talking about your male lover?"
