Chapter 865 Early in the Morning, Truly Shameless

Natalie whispered, "It'd be the same with any other guy."

Clayton's eyes were intense, like a foggy night. "Go ahead and try!"

He wanted to say more, but fearing that Chance might catch a cold, he quickly picked him up and left, leaving Natalie alone.

She sat by the bed, gently touching Haven's sleeping face.

She wasn't testing Clayton.

It wasn't that she hadn't forgiven him. He had hurt her, but he had also saved her life... it balanced out.

Letting him stay at home with the kids was her way of accepting him, wasn't it?

Just one more step, but it was a compromise she wasn't willing to make.

Clayton understood this too, but he didn't push her.

In the quiet of the night, Natalie pondered, thinking about her relationship with Clayton.

*

When she woke up in the morning, the bed was empty.

But Clayton was sitting by the bed.

He was dressed sharply, very high society, with a white shirt under a light gray coat, looking quite stylish.

Natalie leaned against the pillow and asked softly, "Is it easy to hold the kids dressed like that?"

Clayton touched her face. "If it gets dirty, I'll just change."

Natalie smiled faintly. She was still a bit tired and wanted to stay in bed a little longer, so she asked where the kids were.

Clayton took off his shoes, leaned against the bed, and slipped his hand under the covers to hold hers, pulling it towards him.

Early in the morning, he was already being shameless. Natalie gave him a look but didn't pull her hand back.

Clayton glanced at the door, then leaned down. "Chance is with the nanny, Haven is with your parents getting gifts, and later she'll go to her uncle's. We have some free time!"

As he spoke, he took off his coat and slipped under the covers.

Natalie found her lips blocked by his.

His hands roamed freely, without any courtesy.

Natalie wasn't really in the mood, and with people coming and going in the house, what if someone saw them?

She pushed against his shoulder. "Get up! It's not good if someone sees us."

Clayton didn't force her but didn't let go immediately either.

He kissed her for a while, his voice hoarse. "After I left you last night, I couldn't stop thinking about you! And you're so close! Natalie, I'm afraid I can't hold back."

Natalie blushed.

Clayton had grown up abroad, and he was always so open and passionate about these private matters... she couldn't handle it.

She turned her face away. "So you act shamelessly first thing in the morning?"

Clayton chuckled. "Only with you!"

He was considerate, worried about the servants gossiping about her. After a bit of fooling around, he got up and started getting dressed, occasionally glancing at her.

Natalie didn't dare look at him, afraid of seeing something she shouldn't.

Clayton pinched her nose. "It's not like you haven't seen it before!"

He paused after saying that.

Yes, when they were good, they had done all sorts of crazy things. Why hadn't he trusted her?

Just because she was more mature and older than Gina, he believed she had to be perfect, without any flaws, so he started nitpicking like any typical husband in an ordinary marriage, covering up his own insecurities.

Natalie saw his expression and guessed he was thinking about the past.

She smiled faintly.

Clayton snapped out of it and took a leather envelope from his coat pocket. "This is a gift for you. Open it and see if you like it."

Natalie smiled lightly. "What's so mysterious?"

When she opened it, she found the film rights to "The Three Bears" that Clayton had bought.

Natalie stared at the agreement for a long time.

She said softly, "The ending isn't perfect. Why did you buy it? It won't make money."

Clayton gently touched her face. "I just want to make you happy, not to make money! You can write it however you want. If the ending isn't perfect, I'll be there to make it perfect with you."

"Besides, our family has four now, right? I'll be the shadow, appearing whenever you need me, in spirit and body."

He said it casually, but Natalie was moved.

After a while, she looked up and said softly, "So you dress up like this every day, waiting for someone to favor you? What if you attract some young girl?"

"I won't pay attention to them!"

Clayton looked at Natalie's calm face and couldn't help but kiss her.

He said, "Natalie, I'm scared too! I'm afraid I'll go bald or lose my physique before I win you back, and then I won't be able to satisfy you in bed. What then?"

Natalie gently tugged his hair, checking if it was a wig.

He let her play, eventually burying his head in her lap, refusing to get up.

Natalie gently patted him. "Clayton!"

Clayton kissed her chin, moving to her cheeks, his passion overwhelming.

He was such a handsome man, with a great body and touch. Early in the morning, like this... Natalie couldn't resist.

Halfway through the kiss, Clayton whispered, "I'll go lock the door! It's not good if someone sees us."

Natalie hesitated.

Clayton didn't give her time to think. He quickly went and locked the door, then seized the moment to make love to her. He only dared to do it once, and after all this time, it took just about ten minutes to complete their act of intimacy.

Afterwards, there was no time to rest. He wiped himself with a tissue and put his pants back on.

Natalie was also uncomfortable.

Clayton knew she wasn't satisfied. Women take longer, and there wasn't enough time.

He kissed her, saying with difficulty, "It's been too long without sex!"

Natalie kicked him off, telling him to leave quickly.

Clayton wasn't angry... he even kissed her before leaving. "Rest a bit more! If it hurts, I'll get you some ointment."

During the holidays, Natalie didn't have the courage to let him buy it.

She said it didn't hurt.

After he left, she went to the bathroom to clean up.

It did hurt.

It had been too long without sex, and it hurt.

She knew she wasn't satisfied because of the pain, the lack of strong sensation, and the tension of doing it secretly... it wasn't just her, Clayton wasn't satisfied either, but he was so happy.

Natalie gently touched her lips.

Was he really that happy? It wasn't their first time.

She remembered Clayton holding her, his gaze deep... it seemed like he was always watching her, occasionally calling her name hoarsely in her ear.

Looking up at the woman in the mirror, her hair was messy and her lips slightly swollen. No matter how she looked at it, she appeared a bit disheveled.

Compared to Clayton, she was too careless.

She remembered Clayton's words about winning her back before going bald, a joke but with a hint of sadness... sweet words are always nice, even if you don't know if they're true, but they move you at the moment.

As Natalie was thinking, the door opened again.

Clayton stood at the door with something in his hand, looking a bit sheepish. "I was a bit rough earlier. I'll be gentler next time."
