Chapter 934 He Thinks He Can Be a Good Husband!
Sienna froze.
They had been apart for so long that they had grown distant.
Feeling a bit awkward, she kept washing Will's clothes and said, "Usually the nanny does this. I only do it when she's not around."
Bruce couldn't help but interject, "I'll handle it when the nanny's not here."
Even though he had never done housework before, he felt that Sienna shouldn't be doing these chores.
She was going to be a movie star; she shouldn't be buried in housework.
Sienna just smiled faintly and said, "We'll see."
She didn't dare to have expectations anymore. She had hoped too many times, dreamed too many times, and each time ended in disappointment.
So Bruce's words were just sweet talk to her.
After a long silence, Sienna finished washing the little clothes and found a place to hang them up.
At that moment, little Will started fussing, probably hungry!
Sienna naturally went to take care of him. She skillfully picked up little Will, soothed him a bit, and he smiled happily, grabbing Sienna's hair with his tiny hands.
Bruce didn't want her to think he was just a bystander, so he went to make the formula.
After a few days, he had become quite proficient.
Sienna sat on the couch holding their son, and Bruce couldn't help but squat beside her, holding little Will's tiny hand.
He said softly to Sienna, "He's really cute!"
Suddenly having a son would make anyone happy.
After all, he wasn't the one who suffered, Sienna didn't appreciate his sentiment.
Bruce's compliment fell flat, but he didn't get discouraged. He looked at his watch and said, "I'll call room service. You must be hungry!"
This time, Sienna responded with a simple "Okay."
Bruce's eyes inexplicably reddened.
He gazed at Sienna quietly, wanting to say something, but in the end, he said nothing and went to call room service.
Later, little Will fell asleep, leaving the couple staring at each other.
Though they were married, they felt like strangers.
Sienna said she wanted to go back to her room to take a shower. She was still wearing her dress, which had gotten dirty while she was tidying up, but she didn't seem to care much.
Bruce didn't want her to leave.
He held her hand and said softly, "Just shower here."
Sienna shook her head, "I don't have any clothes to change into."
Bruce went to the closet and brought out a shirt and a pair of sweatpants for her. "Wear these for now. If you go back, Will might get anxious if he can't find you."
Sienna thought about it and agreed.
She took a shower, removed her makeup, and came out with a bare face.
Just then, room service arrived. Bruce called her over to eat, and as they sat down, they realized it had been a long time since they had eaten together.
For a moment, they were both silent.
Bruce was much more considerate than before. He served her food and said gently, "I ordered these dishes specially. They're a local specialty here in Bostan. Try them."
Sienna ate gracefully.
Bruce didn't eat; he just kept watching her.
After a while, Sienna looked up and said calmly, "Eat. I told you I need time to think about us."
Bruce smiled faintly.
Their interaction had become much more peaceful.
After dinner, Bruce told her to rest and cleaned up the remaining dishes himself.
In the past, he would have called the service staff, but now, with the baby in the bedroom and Sienna dressed so casually, he didn't want anyone else to come in.
He preferred to do it himself.
While doing these tasks, he didn't feel bored; he felt fulfilled.
He thought, maybe he could be a good husband.
