Chapter 737 Wedding! Landon, I'm Pregnant!

Kingsley had just had a run-in with Johnny.

Feeling a bit on edge, he decided to head to the end of the hallway for a cigarette to calm down. When he returned to the hospital room, he saw Landon and his fiancée, Caitlyn, had come to visit Austin.

Austin felt a bit embarrassed.

Katelyn had been playing in the snow earlier, and her shoes and socks were wet. Now, she was being helped to change by the bed. Austin, even in kindergarten, had never been willing to nap with a little girl.

His face was bright red.

Landon teased him, "Hey buddy, you running a fever? Your face is so red."

Caitlyn glanced at him.

Austin held back for a while before squeezing out, "I'm not running a fever!"

He wrapped himself in the blanket, avoiding looking at the very pretty little girl... the one who had fought with Dione over the 'Snowflake' dog.

Seeing Austin's shy and awkward demeanor, Landon found it amusing. He wondered if all the men from the Hawkins family were just pretending to be serious. In his opinion, Jesse, who didn't grow up in the Hawkins Mansion, was much more endearing.

"Landon, that's enough. Picking on a kid, how childish can you be?" Caitlyn warned him softly, afraid he might go too far.

Landon turned to her and lowered his voice, "Then I'll just pick on you, how about that?"

She was already well aware of his shamelessness, so she didn't respond.

She had never seen someone at his age be so indulgent. Even though they were about to get married, he still insisted on her staying over at his place five nights a week, leaving only two nights as a break.

But she knew in her heart that his possessiveness was something she allowed.

After missing out on a few years, they both cherished their time together now.

As they were leaving, Landon carried Katelyn while Caitlyn walked beside him.

The snow had fallen heavily last night, leaving thick piles on the road. But by now, the sanitation workers had cleared most of it, making the road passable. Landon placed Katelyn in the child seat in the back and then looked at Caitlyn, asking gently, "Are your shoes wet?"

Caitlyn got into the passenger seat and looked down, "The shoes are fine, but my stockings seem to be wet."

Landon glanced at the back.

Katelyn, probably a bit bored, was reading a comic book and didn't notice them.

He looked at Caitlyn, who was now taking off her stockings, which were indeed a bit damp.

Landon's voice turned husky as he looked at her slender, beautiful legs, "Why are you wearing such thin stockings in this cold weather? They're so thin and see-through, and hard to take off!"

Caitlyn's face turned red instantly.

She nervously glanced at the rearview mirror and then whispered, "What are you talking about! What if Katelyn hears what you said?"

Landon chuckled softly, with a hint of deeper meaning.

Yesterday, she had worn those thin, see-through stockings with a long skirt... and at night, he had helped her take them off. Caitlyn didn't want to recall the process.

He couldn't help but ask, "Is it the same pair from last night? It shouldn't be, right? Last night's pair shouldn't be wearable anymore."

Caitlyn's face turned even redder, "I changed them!"

Landon finally stopped teasing her. He fastened his seatbelt and said, "Let's head home first! I told the servants not to clear the snow, so you can build a snowman and have a snowball fight with Katelyn."

Still upset from his teasing, Caitlyn retorted, "I don't want to play."

Landon grinned, "What am I gonna do? I really wanna see you play."

It was a simple exchange, but it made Caitlyn's face flush and her heart race.

She turned her face away, feeling uneasy.

Before starting the car, Landon looked at her tenderly, his eyes full of affection... then he gently pressed the gas pedal and drove them home.

Back at The Carter Manor, Eden was there, helping the servants with cooking. Landon told her to take a break, "There's someone to do this, you should rest!"

Eden looked at the family of three.

She continued washing vegetables and said softly, "When I was a wealthy lady, I used to love socializing, playing cards, or having afternoon coffee and watching concerts. It seemed great back then, but now I think it's just so-so. It's better to do something at home."

Landon didn't say anything more. He took Caitlyn and Katelyn upstairs.

Eden said, "You all went out early, and there's still two hours until lunch. You should rest for a while! Katelyn's shoes are wet, make sure to warm her feet so she doesn't catch a cold."

Katelyn said sweetly, "I'll change my shoes and come back down. Grandma, will you build a snowman with me?"

Eden never liked these activities, but she couldn't refuse the request of the lovely little girl.

Landon carried Katelyn upstairs and used a heater to warm her little feet. Katelyn, impatient with his slow movements, wrinkled her nose, "I want to go build a snowman with Grandma!"

Landon knelt to put her shoes on and asked gently, "Don't you want to play with Caitlyn?"

Katelyn pursed her lips, "I'll let you have her, Daddy."

"You're so generous!"

Landon rewarded her with a kiss, then carried her downstairs and handed her to Eden. Eden immediately washed her hands and took Katelyn to play.

Landon watched them for a moment before heading back upstairs.

In the master bedroom, Caitlyn had just taken a shower and was applying lotion ina white bathrobe.

He walked up behind her, wrapped his arms around her waist, and inhaled deeply before saying softly, "After we get married, let's have your mom move in with us. Katelyn really likes her."

Caitlyn looked at him in the mirror, "What, you want my mom to be your servant after I marry you?"

Landon bit her earlobe gently.

His voice was low, "What are you talking about! Your mom only has you. If she doesn't live with you, who will she live with? It's lonely for an elderly person to live alone."

Caitlyn couldn't help but mock him, "She's only about ten years older than you."

Landon gazed at her, his gaze changing as he took in her slender figure and fair skin.

He scooped her up and laid her on the bed, gently pressing down on her. Caitlyn couldn't handle this in the daytime and tried to push him away, "Lunch is soon. How am I supposed to face the servants if you do this?"

Landon wasn't willing to let her go.

He lightly tapped her nose, his voice deep and husky, "Say something nice, and we'll finish before lunch."

Caitlyn realized he was serious and quickly wrapped her arms around his neck, "We just did it last night! At your age, you should have some restraint."

Landon's response was to pull her hand closer,

She let out a soft gasp.

Landon kissed her, his voice low and raspy, "What age? Say it again!"

Caitlyn didn't dare speak. She lay there with wet eyes like a doe in the forest, so adorable. Landon kissed her gently, unbelievably tender.

But his possessiveness was not gentle, so intense that she couldn't help but tremble.

She could only whisper his name, "Landon..."

He responded softly, holding her close and kissing her again. After several rounds, Caitlyn felt like her waist was about to break. This holiday had been all about satisfying him.

In a daze, she heard sounds from downstairs, seemingly calling them for lunch.

Caitlyn was about to sit up when Landon gently pressed her back down. "Rest a bit. If you go downstairs, you'll have to change clothes again. I'll bring the food up."

Caitlyn refused, biting her lip. "That's not right. I need to be involved in the household matters. How can I establish my authority if I don't go downstairs?"

Landon hadn't expected her to take charge.

But hearing her say this, his heart felt a bit warm. It seemed that after all these years, he finally had a proper home, with his lover taking care of it.

He didn't say anything, just lightly tapped her nose and smiled.

As Caitlyn got dressed, he sat patiently on the sofa, casually flipping through a magazine. She thought, "He is usually so indulgent, but he's not even sneaking a peek now."

As if knowing what she was thinking,

Landon closed the magazine and said something meaningful, "We have plenty of time."

He stood up, walked over to her, and took her hand to go downstairs together. The table was filled with a sumptuous spread, with Eden taking care of Katelyn. Landon occasionally discussed household matters with Caitlyn.

"This afternoon, let's visit Mom."

Caitlyn paused with her fork and asked, "Why didn't you invite her over for the Fireworks Festival?"

Landon smiled lightly, "She's used to her freedom. A couple of small gatherings around New Year's are enough."

Caitlyn nodded in agreement.

She was actually quite familiar with Jennifer, who had been visiting her home frequently lately. Jennifer didn't seem like someone who would prefer freedom.

But since it was Landon's mother, she didn't ask further.

Seeing her expression, Landon couldn't help but lightly tap her head, "Eat."

Caitlyn obediently complied.

Eden, while attentively taking care of Katelyn, was also observant. She noticed the interaction between them and finally understood why Caitlyn had insisted on marrying Landon back then.

They were a perfect match!

On February 14th, it was their wedding day.

Early in the morning, as Caitlyn was getting ready to leave, she felt a wave of nausea and a heavy feeling in her chest.

Natalie, her bridesmaid, noticed and quickly asked, "Caitlyn, are you okay? Are you feeling uncomfortable?"

Caitlyn clutched her chest. She knew what was happening. Given how frequently she and Landon had made love lately, and without using protection, it was natural that she might be pregnant.

Thinking back, it must have happened around New Year's.

Natalie, still young and inexperienced, didn't understand and reached for her phone to call Landon.

Caitlyn quickly stopped her, saying softly, "I'm fine!"

Natalie looked at her, still worried, and asked again, "Are you sure you're okay?"

Caitlyn assured her, "I'm definitely fine!"

With that reassurance,

Natalie felt relieved and didn't think much more about it.

She helped Caitlyn put on her veil and gently guided her to the hotel entrance, where she handed her over to an uncle from the Robinson family, who would then give Caitlyn to Landon.

The luxurious hotel hall was decorated entirely with irises, creating a beautiful and romantic atmosphere.

Landon stood at the end of the red carpet.

In his formal attire, he looked exceptionally handsome. The composure he had gained over the years was barely enough today because his Caitlyn was marrying him. As the music played, Caitlyn slowly walked towards him.

Through the veil, their eyes met, both filled with tears.

Everything around them faded away, leaving only their gazes locked on each other. When Landon took her delicate hand, it trembled slightly. All their past joys and sorrows became mere history in that moment, replaced by the promise of their future together.

In front of all the guests, Landon knelt on one knee and carefully placed the wedding ring on Caitlyn's finger.

She did the same for him.

The pair of platinum diamond rings sparkled brilliantly, witnessing everything.

Her lips trembled as she said, "From now on, you have to be good to us. Me, Katelyn... and the baby in my belly."

Landon was momentarily stunned, "What?"

Caitlyn gently held his hand and said, "Landon, you might be a dad again!"

Landon was naturally overjoyed, but given the occasion, he couldn't lose his composure. He gently embraced her, suppressing his excitement, and said, "Why didn't you tell me earlier?"

"I just found out," she replied softly.

Landon didn't say anything more. He held Caitlyn close, feeling like he had the whole world.

Natalie, standing nearby, had tears in her eyes.

As she wiped them away, her gaze met a pair of slightly somber eyes. Recognizing the person, Natalie was stunned. It was Grant McCall.

He was her senior from college, someone she had once liked.

They hadn't seen each other in years, and he had changed a lot.

Natalie's lips moved slightly... but Grant just grinned and then turned his attention back to the woman beside him.

She was a gentle and elegant woman, young and beautiful.

Natalie recognized her as well. She was the woman Grant's mother, Alvina Sharp, had approved of as a daughter-in-law. Were they together now?

Her heart ached slightly.

Natalie forced a small smile. Why did it still hurt? It had been so many years. He had someone by his side now, and she had decided to let go back then.

Natalie stopped paying attention to them.

Hearing that Caitlyn was pregnant, she took extra care of her. At the end of the wedding banquet, Landon gave her a exquisite gift box. Treating her like a younger sister, he patted her head as they left, "You need to work hard too, or Amara will ask me to introduce you to someone."

Caitlyn gave him a sidelong glance,

Landon stood tall and confident, "Caitlyn can introduce you to someone too. She'll be meeting a lot of people and will have many opportunities."

Natalie forced a smile, "Thank you, Mr. Carter."

Landon knew she was being playful and wasn't offended. He helped Caitlyn into the car and then turned to ask Natalie, "Did you drive here?"

Natalie replied, "Don't worry! Take good care of Caitlyn."

She watched the black limousine slowly drive away. Standing in the dark night breeze, she couldn't help but think of the person she had seen tonight.

She couldn't believe he was back!

He seemed to be doing well.

Knowing he was well, she felt at ease and had no regrets.

Natalie, it's time for you to start dating and get married too!

Natalie stretched and was about to get into her car when a black Bentley slowly pulled up in front of her. The window rolled down, revealing a young and handsome face; it was Grant.

He looked at her expressionlessly, "Need a ride?"
