Chapter 501 So Happy to Have Me Back?

Molly was shaking like a leaf, too scared to say a word, clinging to him.

It had been ages since they last got intimate.

Gavin kissed her again, whispering sweetly, "How about we move this to the bedroom?"

It was still broad daylight, and Molly felt the weight of it all. She pressed her hand against his shoulder and murmured, "Let's wait until it's dark."

After saying that, she couldn't hold back anymore, her eyes welling up.

Gavin got the hint, but he couldn't resist. He scooped her up and headed straight for the bedroom.

He'd been here before, so he knew the way.

Molly's room was all soft pink, super girly. The sheets had her light, sweet scent. In this private little haven, Gavin felt he could really make her happy.

He started unbuttoning her blouse, and Molly pushed back a bit. "Gavin!"

Gavin silenced her with a gentle kiss.

Even though they'd been together many times, this felt different. It was like their first time all over again, and Gavin wanted it to be special.

From dusk till dark, he made her shiver with pleasure over and over.

Eventually, Molly was both crying and shouting.

Gavin kissed her softly, calming her down, "Okay, I won't tease you anymore."

He carried her to the shower and then brought her back to bed.

Gavin was feeling hot, so he went shirtless. Molly wore his white shirt, curled up in his arms, her hair tickling him a bit.

Gavin lit a cigarette but only smoked half of it.

He glanced at Molly. She had dozed off but woke up, nudging him, "I'm kinda hungry."

Gavin touched her small belly.

Remembering their earlier moments, his eyes darkened. Molly, worried he might start again, softly insisted on eating.

Gavin laughed.

He got up, put on his pants, and bent down to kiss her. She wrapped her arms around his neck, "There's an oven in the kitchen. I want a little cake."

Gavin smiled, "Alright, I'll bake one for you."

When they lived together before, he always spoiled her. Now that they were really together, he treated her even better.

Gavin headed to the kitchen and started making a small cake.

After putting it in the oven, he began cooking. Having studied abroad since he was young, he was quite the cook.

In less than half an hour, everything was ready.

The small cake was even shaped like a little bear.

Gavin called out to Molly from outside, but she didn't come out, so he went to the bedroom to find her.

Molly was sitting on the bed, looking at a few property deeds and a jewelry box, flipping through them, clearly pleased.

Gavin walked in and sat on the edge of the bed, "What are you looking at?"

Molly blushed and refused to show him.

Gavin knew these were gifts from his parents, a token of their affection that had deeply moved her.

He flipped through them and then asked her, "Are you happy?"

Molly nodded sincerely, "Yes, very happy."

She couldn't help but lean on Gavin's shoulder, her voice soft, "Gavin, I didn't expect Chloe to accept me so easily."

Gavin didn't say anything, gently stroking her hair.

Molly didn't bring up any unpleasant things. She was always a grateful girl, leaning against Gavin and talking about the future, getting quite happy as she spoke.

Gavin rarely saw her like this. He couldn't help but chuckle, reaching out to pat her little head, "So happy to have me back?"

She found him annoying.

Molly refused to speak, but even in her little tantrum, Gavin found it sweet.

During his time studying abroad, he was never short of excellent women around him, but Gavin never developed romantic feelings for anyone. It wasn't until he met Molly that he realized it wasn't that he didn't like women; he just liked someone like Molly—obedient, gentle, and always listening to him.

Gavin knew he liked to make decisions, but Molly didn't mind, so they could get along well together.

He kissed her for a while, then told her to get up and eat.

Molly blushed, wanting to change clothes, but Gavin said, "The air conditioning is on high; just wash your face."

While eating, Molly softly asked him, "Don't you have work?"

He had to go to the company; there were so many things to do, and he should be busy for a while.

Gavin patted her head, "If you can't bear to be without me, come live with me. I want to see you every day."

Molly took small bites of her food.

She whispered, "Seeing each other every two or three days is good too!"

Gavin laughed, finding her adorable.

He didn't push her, knowing they had just gotten together. Besides, keeping a little distance while dating was good. In two or three months, they would get married and be together every day.

After dinner, Gavin started making phone calls.

Half an hour later, he received a call from Frederick.

"Frederick, I came back with Molly! Yes, I'll go to the company tomorrow! I'll bring Molly over tomrrow night!"

Gavin hung up the phone.

Molly was sitting on the couch watching a movie. She slowly asked, "What are we doing tomorrow?"

Gavin nodded, "Frederick invited us over for dinner!"

Molly responded with an "Oh."

He bent down and pinched her little nose, "Don't you like Lola a lot? She's at home these days too. Dress nicely tomorrow."

Molly softly agreed.

Gavin couldn't stand her being like this. Just looking at her made him feel hot all over, wanting to tease her.

He leaned close to her ear and whispered, "Does it still hurt there?"

Molly's face turned red. She bit her lip lightly, "It doesn't hurt."

Gavin took the opportunity to kiss her.

Molly didn't want to do it in the living room, but Gavin was stubborn about doing it on the couch. After coaxing her for a long time, she finally gave in, sitting in his lap and crying softly.

The more she acted like this, the more excessive Gavin became.

It wasn't until two in the morning that he finally let her go. Molly turned her back to him, quietly cursing him.

Gavin held her delicate shoulders, gently soothing her, "It's been half a year since we last did it. If I finish quickly this time, does that mean I'm not a real man?"

Molly couldn't argue with him, so she simply stopped talking.

Gavin, however, felt satisfied. He held her, coaxing her to sleep, letting her rest in his arms.

Watching her nestled in his arms, he felt an indescribable fondness. Molly was the smallest in his family, soft and petite when held.

The next day, Gavin got up early and made two meals for Molly.

He ate a little himself and then drove to the company. Aria was already waiting for him.Gavin was in a great mood.

He sat at his desk, flipping through some files, and said, "Notify everyone that those who came to work today will receive a $2,000 bonus."

Aria saw his expression and knew something good was about to happen.

She was good with words, "Everyone will be thrilled, basking in Gavin's good fortune."

Gavin smiled sweetly. After looking at the files for a while, he looked up, "Can you help me find a good wedding planning company? And I want to order the wedding dress from Manilove. Contact Molly when the time comes."

Aria nodded, "Sure. I'll keep an eye on it."

Gavin motioned for her to leave and focused on his paperwork.

Around noon, the landline rang. He reached out to answer it, and the person on the other end was unexpected. It was Sarah.

Sarah's voice sounded tired, "Gavin, are you going to marry her?"

Gavin squinted slightly, clearly displeased. He didn't want Sarah to know about him and Molly. Besides, he and Sarah had long been over. He had given her the compensation she deserved, so why was she still clinging?

Gavin's voice carried a warning, "Sarah, if I were you, I'd let this go."

Sarah's emotions were slightly agitated, "What about my feelings? Gavin, I've liked you for years. How do you account for that?"

Gavin rubbed his forehead, leaning back in his chair. "Sarah, that's your own issue! If you had told me you liked me back then, I wouldn't have worked with you. Since we both have responsibilities, why not choose a path that's beneficial for yourself?"

He couldn't understand Sarah's mindset.

Wasn't she supposed to be a strong, independent woman? When it came to emotions, she almost lost her sanity.

Such a person, Gavin not only wouldn't develop romantic feelings for but was also reluctant to give basic respect. The only reason he was willing to exchange a few words was out of respect for their elders.

Sarah remained silent and then hung up the phone.

Gavin tossed the phone aside and then called in his second secretary, instructing her not to take any more calls from Sarah. The second secretary, not being very well-informed, ran into Aria outside and relayed the message.

Finally, she asked, "Isn't Miss Hughes supposed to be engaged to Gavin?"

Aria pulled her aside and whispered, "Gavin's current girlfriend is Molly, yes, the designer. I'm telling you, they've already discussed marriage. Sarah is out of the picture, so don't upset Gavin."

The second secretary nodded and spread the news by the afternoon.

At the Devereux Group headquarters, everyone knew.

Gavin didn't give Sarah another thought. At six in the evening, he drove back to pick up Molly.

Molly had gone out during the day to buy gifts for the elders.

A scarf for Charlotte and a coral pen holder for Frederick, both looking quite exquisite. But Gavin only had eyes for Molly. Today, she wore a wool dress, dark red with little cherries dotted on it.

She looked petite and adorable.

Gavin draped a coat over her and kissed her on the forehead, "You look great!"

Molly linked her arm with his. As she got into the car, she still felt a bit unreal. She was really with him openly and could even visit relatives with him.

Gavin fastened his seatbelt and noticed Molly looking at him. He smiled lightly, "What's up?"

Molly softly said, "I used to only have Nathan and Amanda. Being with you feels like I've gained a lot of family."

Gavin felt a pang of sadness.

Molly had a tough childhood, and he had bullied her back then, even as they grew up.

He held her, not speaking for a long time.

Molly obediently stayed in his arms, whispering, "Gavin, you don't need to feel guilty. I've long forgotten those things."

Gavin looked down, "You forgot the first time we were intimate? I still remember you crying so hard, scratching my back. I've never seen a girl so afraid of pain."

Molly blushed.

He was so shameless, always bringing up these things to tease her. But she couldn't bear to be angry with him.

Her awkward demeanor made Gavin particularly fond of her. Instead of restraining himself, he leaned in and whispered a few more words, making Molly so angry she retorted, "That time only lasted two minutes! I didn't even say anything!"

After a while, he ground his teeth lightly, "A man's first time is always short."

"I wouldn't know! I've never tried with anyone else. Maybe you're lying!" Molly's face turned even redder after saying that.

Gavin suddenly chuckled softly, biting her red lips, "Tonight, I'll make sure you feel every bit of it."

"You rough!" Molly turned her face away, feeling uncomfortable.

Gavin started the car. After driving for a while, he said, "By the way, now that we're together, you need to keep your distance from Clayton."

Actually, he didn't need to say it; Molly and Clayton would naturally keep their distance.

But she felt guilty towards Clayton. Clayton had never forced her, but she still let him down.

When she got together with Gavin, Clayton had asked her, "Is he worth going back to?"

Molly didn't know if it was worth it. She only knew that night in the old city of Copenhegan, with snow falling, when he held her face and kissed her, she couldn't resist.

Gavin wanted her, and she also longed for Gavin.

Molly didn't talk much about Clayton. Even though she was with Gavin, Clayton still held a place in her heart, like family.

Gavin felt jealous. But some things, even between spouses, shouldn't be interfered with too much.

He just reached out and held Molly's hand, thinking to himself that Clayton should leave soon.

Half an hour later, the black Rolls-Royce slowly drove into the villa.

Frederick was already waiting in the parking lot. As soon as the car stopped, he opened the door. Molly felt a bit embarrassed. Frederick was too handsome!

She handed over the gifts and followed Gavin, calling out, "Uncle Frederick."

Frederick lightly patted her shoulder and smiled at Gavin, "Amanda called early this morning, telling me and Charlotte to prepare gifts, saying we mustn't neglect you!"

Gavin took a cigarette from his pocket and handed one to Frederick.

Frederick glanced around the villa and whispered, "We can't let Charlotte see this. She's been strict with me lately! Being too handsome isn't always a good thing. Charlotte is particularly concerned. It's hard being a good man!"

Gavin just listened to these words without taking them seriously.

Frederick was being insincere. He complained about Charlotte being strict, but it was he who insisted she be strict, wasn't it?

Molly, however, took it seriously.

She thought to herself that she should give Gavin the freedom to smoke in the future, as long as he was reasonable about it.

Her eyes sparkled, clearly deep in thought. Gavin couldn't help but pat her little head, "What are you thinking? Don't believe everything Frederick says!"

Molly felt a bit embarrassed.

Just then, Lola came out, followed by Johnny.

Gavin was stunned.

Johnny was back?
