Chapter 582 Kiss Me, and I Won't Bully You!
Amara's heart skipped a beat.
Maybe she had had a thing for Kingsley for a while, but she never dared to dream about being with him.
She wondered if being good to him could make him happy.
His happiness meant more to her than anything else.
She would even eat those dreaded carrots every day if it brought a smile to his face.
Without realizing it, tears welled up in her eyes, and her lips quivered as she whispered, "Kingsley, we..."
Kingsley leaned back against the headboard, watching her quietly. She was completely bare under the sheets. They had been intimate not long ago, but now he seemed so calm.
He gently touched her hair, then her face, and finally held her hand, soothing the pain from her wound.
In the past, he would never confessed his feelings, and their physical contact was mostly driven by desire. These tender touches were new.
He really liked her and had stopped bringing up Ralph. He knew Amara liked him too, so he chose to forgive her. Even if they argued in the future, he would never mention Ralph to hurt her. He wanted to take care of her, making sure she lived without worries, only thinking about what delicious meals to make each day. If she wanted, she could go shopping, but most of the time, he wanted her by his side.
Kingsley gently pressed her head into his shoulder. Petite and fragile, she cried softly in his arms.
He didn't say anything, didn't care if his shirt got wet. He just gently patted her back, like comforting a beloved pet.
Just then, the doorbell rang. Room service was delivering their meal.
"Stop crying," Kingsley said softly, then kissed her lips. Amara didn't dare look at him.
"I'll get the food. You go wash up." Even Kingsley's cheeks flushed a bit. "There are some of my clothes in the closet. Pick a shirt to wear. I'll have Rebecca bring you some clothes later."
Amara was too embarrassed to come out.
Kingsley smiled faintly and went to open the door.
After he left, Amara put on his bathrobe and ran to the bathroom.
She didn't dare take a long shower, afraid he would come in and they would end up making love again. Amara was actually in pain. Earlier, Kingsley had made her forget the physical pain, but now standing up, she felt sore.
The mirror was foggy, reflecting her face.
She gently touched her reflection, finding it hard to believe, but she couldn't lie to herself. She was happy both physically and mentally.
She liked Kingsley.
Kingsley pushed the food cart in. After waiting for her for two minutes, he couldn't help but go in.
He grabbed a dark gray shirt and waited for Amara at the bathroom door.
She came out wet, her face flushed, and her hair dripping with water.
Kingsley held her with one hand and dried her body with the other, then carefully dressed her in the shirt, buttoning it up. Amara felt a bit uncomfortable; she was used to taking care of him.
She had never dressed him, but she had tied his tie.
After finishing, Kingsley kissed her chin and said, "I never realized you were so tiny!"
She barely reached his shoulder, probably no more than 5'4".
In the morning, when he had her pinned under him, she was practically swallowed by the soft bed.
Kingsley's eyes held a hint of desire, but he didn't push it. Instead, he took her to the restaurant for breakfast, ordering a ton of food, filling the table, even a bottle of red wine. It felt like he was celebrating.
Amara was used to taking care of him during meals, cutting the tender steak and pushing it in front of him.
Kingsley forked a small piece and fed it to her. "I used to tease you, but now that we're together, I won't bully you like that anymore."
She said softly, "I haven't made up my mind yet."
Kingsley smiled. "Then take your time to think."
Amara saw the box of fever medicine and quietly asked if he needed to take one. Kingsley was momentarily stunned, then laughed. Now that she was here, he didn't need any medicine!
He reached out and touched her head. "I'll have Rebecca resign for you this afternoon! Don't leave; stay with me."
He wanted to take Amara back to Syeattel. But before they left, it was nice to spend a few uninterrupted days in Stellaria City, free from his father's influence.
Amara looked up at him.
Kingsley smiled slightly. "I'm serious!"
He thought for a moment and continued, "You've worked with me for over a year. You should know my character. I never waste energy on irrelevant things. What I want is well thought out. I'm sure we're suitable, and we'll get along and eventually get married, unless something unexpected happens or you don't want to."
Amara lowered her head to eat the steak. After a while, she said softly, "Isn't this progressing too fast?"
"Fast? I don't think so," he said.
Amara took small bites of the steak. She was probably really hungry and finished the whole steak and a bowl of soup.
Kingsley pointed to the last small carrot and said, "Don't waste it!"
She looked up, her eyes a bit watery.
He was teasing her again.
Kingsley's expression softened, and he coaxed, "Then give me a kiss. If you kiss me, you don't have to eat the carrot. If you kiss me every day, I'll make sure you're happy."
Amara was very confused. To her, Kingsley was the kind of naturally elegant young man who would never say such shameless things, but he said it so naturally. Did he have a lot of sexual experience?
Kingsley seemed to know what she was thinking.
He chuckled. "I've never been in a relationship. This is my first time making love."
Amara was too embarrassed to ask further, but Kingsley didn't want to let her go. He directly pulled her onto his lap. After some rubbing, both of their expressions became a bit strained.
She leaned on his shoulder. "You haven't finished eating."
"I want to make love to you," he said casually, then held her face and kissed her gently for a long time. His voice suddenly became hoarse. "Close your eyes and hold me."
Amara's body trembled. They hadn't really dated, just shared some ambiguous moments, and now they were jumping straight to making love.
She closed her eyes, and Kingsley licked and kissed her ear, whispering hoarsely and emotionally. "I didn't get a good look at you this morning. Can I look at you now?"
"No!" Amara clutched the gray shirt tightly, pleading softly.
The lights here were too bright, illuminating them completely, offering no cover. She would rather make love with him on the bed, even if it was painful, than feel this level of shame.
But how could she resist him?
She wasn't just Kingsley's first woman; with his proud nature, he hadn't even watched many adult films during his most vigorous years.
He had no voyeuristic desire for women's bodies. But he wanted to see Amara's. So, amidst her cries and his coaxing, he got his way.
In the luxurious suite, the scene was indecent.
Amara clung to his neck, softly begging him. She was afraid Rebecca might come in; Rebecca seemed to have a key card to the suite. If Rebecca saw this scene, she would be extremely embarrassed.
The more scared she was, the more Kingsley found it amusing.
He wasn't mentally ill, but he was sure he liked teasing her.
The food on the dining table was pushed aside, and on the dark green tablecloth lay her soft, petite body.
Kingsley kissed her gently, and he softly reassured her. "Don't be afraid! Just looking."
Amara started crying. He was such a pervert, but even so, she still liked him. Later, in even more compromising positions, she cried intermittently. "I don't want to be with you anymore! You rogue."
During lovemaking, such words were just to add to the excitement.
An hour later, she was crying hard, so he had to carry her to the bedroom to continue teasing her. The lazy afternoon sunlight streamed into the bedroom, casting a fiery glow.
By evening, Rebecca swiped the key card and entered, carrying Kingsley's change of clothes and several sets of women's clothing, from inside out. There were even some nourishing medicines.
Rebecca opened the door, and the suite was quiet.
The dining area was quite messy: a light gray shirt was casually thrown on the carpet, looking crumpled. Rebecca recognized this shirt, a high-end piece from an international brand. And the tablecloth was also a mess.
Rebecca glanced at the bedroom door, which was tightly closed, but the air was filled with a mix of masculine and sweet scents.
"Quite intense!" Rebecca muttered, then put down the bags and started tidying up the room.
After cleaning up, she called for someone to take away the food.
Rebecca also ordered a late-night snack for Kingsley.
After finishing these tasks, Rebecca was about to leave when the bedroom door opened.
Kingsley walked out, looking refreshed, wearing black casual pants and a white shirt, looking nothing like a man who had indulged all day.
Seeing that Rebecca had tidied everything up, he showed no embarrassment.
He walked over, opened the bags, and looked inside. "These clothes suit Amara well."
Rebecca sighed lightly. "Mr. Hawkins, don't overdo it!"
Kingsley glanced at her, a slight blush on his face, but he quickly said casually, "Help Amara resign from those jobs. I'll take her to enjoy Stellaria City for a few days before heading back to Syeattel! Oh, and prepare a private jet for me the day after tomorrow. I don't want to take the bus back to Syeattel."
Just as she was wondering where Kingsley was planning to go, he calmly said, "Just staying at the hotel."
Rebecca was silent. Could he be any more shameless?
But she quickly adjusted herself and smiled. "Then I wish you a pleasant trip."
Kingsley detected her sarcastic tone, but he was in a good mood and didn't argue with her. He waved her off.
Rebecca went to the restaurant to eat and happened to run into the group of employees who had been out for a trip. They had taken up 20 tables in the second-floor restaurant, and the female employees were discussing why Kingsley hadn't gone out today.
When they saw Rebecca, they fell silent. But they couldn't help but ask.
Rebecca just vaguely said, "Mr. Hawkins is not feeling well and needs to rest!"
Someone always wanted to show concern. "Should we send a representative to visit him?"
Someone else said, "I think he has someone taking care of him! That new secretary, Dina, always stays by his side, relying on her Butler surname and her resemblance to Amara."
"Yeah, maybe Dina is taking care of him!"
Rebecca just smiled and said nothing, leisurely drinking coffee and eating.
After finishing, she was invited by other colleagues to the 26th floor to play. "There's a bar there with great live music. Rebecca, come with us and put it on the company tab!"
Rebecca had slept all afternoon and wanted to relax, so she agreed.
Around 9 PM, nearly 30 female employees all dressed lightly, went to the bar. It was dimly lit, and there was just a couple sitting in a corner.
They didn't pay much attention and sat down, ordering drinks and snacks.
They started chatting freely, growing convinced Kingsley had a sexual relationship with Dina.
They were chatting happily when someone suddenly pointed to the corner, stammering, "It looks like Mr. Hawkins! And the person next to him looks like Amara!"
They looked over in disbelief and indeed saw Kingsley in the most secluded corner, sitting sideways with Amara next to him. Kingsley's profile was very gentle as he leaned in to her.
Amara seemed unwilling, but he turned her head back, said a few words to coax her, and continued kissing.
Actually, who it was didn't matter. What mattered was that they had never seen Kingsley with such an expression. They couldn't imagine Kingsley in love, let alone being gentle with a woman. He was serious about Amara!
Everyone held their breath. After a while, someone suddenly said, "It seems like Kingsley likes Amara more!"
That was why, after being apart, Kingsley couldn't wait to pursue Amara again.
