Chapter 919 Sienna Is Pregnant!

Sienna was quiet for a moment.

"I'm not blaming you!" she finally said.

But her words didn't comfort Bruce.

His voice, rough from sleepless nights and too many cigarettes, replied, "Sienna, you might not blame me, but that just makes it worse! It feels like you don't see me as your husband anymore."

He paused, then asked, "Do you still love me?"

Sienna had just gotten off the plane and was exhausted. She really didn't want to deal with this right now.

But she answered him seriously.

"I think I still love you. But Bruce, love can fade over time. I can't promise I'll love you forever. Maybe we need some time apart to think about our marriage."

Sienna had thought their marriage was fine.

But after a month of Bruce being busy and avoiding their relationship, she realized there was a problem.

Bruce's personality, to put it nicely, was perfectionist; to put it bluntly, it was stubborn. He couldn't blame her for Freya's death, so Sienna became the problem.

The reason Bruce had been neglecting her was probably because he hadn't figured out how to deal with her.

So, she decided to handle it herself.

Sienna threw herself into work abroad, thinking that six months would be enough time for both of them to think clearly and make the right decision.

She made herself clear, and Bruce wasn't stupid.

He thought for a moment and said, "You should get some rest. Once I finish my work, I'll come see you."

Sienna smiled faintly.

She hung up the phone and leaned back in the leather seat to catch up on sleep.

At that moment, she actually missed being single. Honestly, Bruce regretted it, and so did she.

They had been too impulsive when they got married.

Sienna's personality was always carefree. She quickly threw herself into her work.

Being a foreign face, she had to work hard to get this role because the film crew had a backup actress who was also very qualified.

If she didn't perform well, the backup could replace her at any time.

Sienna had action scenes and had trained in combat for a month. The director praised her talent, saying that if she really wanted to break into the international film market, she had a good chance of becoming a global star.

Sienna wasn't very ambitious, but she was still pleased.

She just didn't expect that right before the official shoot, she found out she was pregnant. It happened the night before she left, when she and Bruce made love.

Sienna now faced two choices.

She could either choose her career and not have the baby, or have the baby and give up the hard-won role.

Sienna made her decision.

But she still called Bruce first. He had said he would come see her this weekend, and she wanted to tell him the news.

Maybe their marriage would improve because of the baby, and their relationship would become closer.

They weren't young anymore, and having a baby naturally meant they would keep it.

Bruce answered the phone.

He thought Sienna was calling about the weekend trip, so he apologized first and patiently tried to soothe her.

"This weekend might not work! There's an issue with the project I'm working on, and I have to go on a business trip. Sienna, can we do it next week?"

Sienna's tone was calm. "Will you really be free next week?"

Before Bruce could answer, she wanted to tell him about the baby. She wasn't one to be overly dramatic.

Just then, Anna walked into the office and asked Bruce to attend a meeting.

Bruce whispered, "We'll talk tonight! I have to go to a meeting now!"

Sienna couldn't help but get angry. "Bruce, you can't even spare a moment to talk to me?"

"Okay, go ahead!"

Bruce said, but he was already discussing the meeting with Anna, and it sounded urgent.

Sienna held the phone, feeling cold all over.

After about a minute, Bruce's phone was still on the desk, but he was gone. Sienna quietly hung up.
