Chapter 576 Sorry, She's My Wife!
Lola got what he meant.
She leaned in and whispered, "I know him. He's got some ties with Kingsley."
Johnny had heard bits and pieces about Kingsley and Amara, but Lola was way more in the loop, thanks to Jared spilling the beans.
With Lola's words, Johnny's jealousy melted away.
Just then, the waiter brought their food.
Johnny, who usually pampered Angelina, took the time to teach her how to use a knife and fork in this fancy restaurant. He whispered, "Try not to make any noise; it's not polite."
Angelina nodded obediently. "Okay."
Then, in her sweet, innocent voice, she added, "Then you shouldn't shout at night either. I need to sleep; it's impolite."
Johnny was puzzled. When did he shout?
Angelina pouted. "Daddy said it felt so good!"
Johnny went silent, and Lola turned beet red.
Still keeping his cool, Johnny said, "I'll be more careful in the future."
Angelina seemed satisfied and went back to using her tiny fork to pick up a piece of steak.
She loved the taste.
"Daddy, I want to eat this again next time! Buy this place," she chirped.
This was something Frederick often said. Whatever Angelina liked, Frederick would buy it! If she wanted Universal Studios, Frederick would tell Johnny and Kingsley to hustle and buy it because Angelina loved it there!
This was just a small restaurant.
Johnny realized Angelina was picking up Frederick's habits. He glanced at Lola and smiled. "Dad spoils Angelina too much!"
Lola smiled back and told Angelina, "This restaurant belongs to your grandmother; no need to buy it!"
Angelina's eyes widened. "Then can I come here to eat every day? I also want to learn to make such yummy food."
Johnny and Lola were taken aback.
Angelina had big dreams!
Johnny rubbed his forehead. "There's nothing wrong with that, as long as Angelina likes it."
Lola didn't mind either; the Hawkins Family wasn't short on cash.
She patted Angelina's little head. "Okay!"
Angelina was thrilled.
Seeing her so happy, Lola relaxed. She leaned towards Johnny and said, "I'm going to the restroom; keep an eye on Angelina. By the way, you have a meeting later, right? I'll take a cab back with Angelina; I want to visit my parents."
Johnny checked his watch.
Today's meeting was pretty important, so he said, "I'll have Jared come pick you up! Wait until Angelina finishes eating, there's no rush."
The main thing was, he loved this peaceful moment with Lola.
Being a family of three felt really nice.
Lola smiled, got up, and headed to the restroom.
When she came out to wash her hands, she noticed someone else in the restroom. It was a waiter. Lola frowned a bit because, in such a high-end place, staff and guests had separate restrooms to keep things classy. Johnny had mentioned the lax rules here before, but now she was really concerned.
She turned around and wasn't surprised to see the waiter was Ralph.
Ralph looked at her with a subtle eagerness. Lola had been pursued by countless men before, so she knew that look all too well.
She turned off the golden faucet and glanced at Ralph in the mirror. "Need something?"
Ralph seemed a bit nervous. He swallowed hard and said, "If you need anything, you can come to me."
Lola chuckled, not sure if she felt bad for Kingsley or poor Amara.
She slowly dried her hands and laughed lightly. "Do you mean in the restaurant or... other needs?"
Her tone had a hint of flirtation.
Ralph blushed. "I'm not that kind of person!"
Lola tossed the paper towel, gave him a quick smile, and walked out.
After she left, Ralph wondered how Lola knew his name. Did she ask the manager about him? Was she interested in him?
Ralph felt a mix of shame and excitement.
He knew the Hawkins Family was loaded. Even a modest share of their riches could sustain him comfortably for years.
Besides, he didn't have to stay with Lola forever.
When the time was right, he could leave her and still marry and have kids, living a normal life.
Ralph couldn't afford to let this opportunity slip away.
He went backstage, quietly found Lola's phone number, and added her on Facebook.
Meanwhile, Lola had just returned to her seat when her phone buzzed.
She looked down and saw a new friend request on Facebook. She immediately knew who it was.
Lola sneered. Ralph was really dreaming big!
She ignored it.
Johnny asked, "Who is it?"
Such an unimportant person, Lola naturally wouldn't mention. She said lightly, "No one important."
Johnny sneered. He guessed it was Ralph right away.
They sat for a while longer, waiting for Angelina to finish eating before paying the bill and leaving.
As soon as they reached the restaurant entrance, Jared's car pulled up.
"Mr. Hayes!" Angelina ran over, and Jared picked up the sweet-smelling Angelina, saying, "Your grandpa misses you at home."
Jared also had a grandson, who was a mischievous child, not as sweet and soft as Angelina. Jared put Angelina in the child seat.
There were over 10 cars at home, all for Angelina to ride in.
Jared laughed joyfully. He got in the car and realized he hadn't opened the door for Lola. He quickly got out. "Mrs. Flores, I'm so sorry."
Lola teased. "Jared, you don't love me anymore."
Jared chuckled. "Angelina is too cute!"
Lola wanted Johnny to get in the car too, so Jared could give him a ride, but Johnny waved his hand. "I'll smoke a cigarette first. You guys go ahead! I'll pick you and Angelina up tonight."
Lola nodded.
Jared stepped on the gas, and Johnny lit a cigarette, watching the car disappear from sight.
He slowly finished his cigarette, walked back into the restaurant, and took a seat.
It wasn't until the last group of customers left that Johnny lit another cigarette. The restaurant manager, being perceptive, noticed Johnny was unhappy and quickly approached with a smile. "Mr. Flores, is there something we didn't do well?"
Johnny kept smoking slowly.
In a low voice, he said, "Personal matter."
After speaking, he stubbed out the cigarette and walked into the restaurant's kitchen, where there was a passage leading to the changing room.
Sure enough, Ralph was changing clothes.
Ralph was buttoning his shirt while glancing at his phone, seemingly waiting for something.
Johnny's tone was casual. "Waiting for my wife's reply?"
Ralph was startled.
After a long pause, he asked softly, "How did you know? Did Ms. Hawkins tell you?"
Johnny slowly closed the changing room door, leaned against it, and quietly observed Ralph in front of him.
Ralph looked quite refined, with a few delicate features and a hint of restlessness in his eyes, which was why he dared to do something inappropriate.
"Call her Mrs. Flores! Also, it wasn't my wife who told me, but your intentions were too obvious. Listen up, she won't reply to you."
"Really? Mr. Flores coming here specifically shows a lack of confidence."
Johnny laughed, stepped forward, grabbed Ralph, and sneered. "How well do you know her to dare to seduce her? Do you know that someone like you wouldn't even catch her eye? The only reason she knows you is because you're a damn loser!"
Ralph was stunned.
Johnny let go of him, pushing Ralph against the locker.
He straightened his clothes and spoke in an even colder tone, "Ever heard of Kingsley? Lola's brother, the new CEO of the Hawkins Group."
Ralph had heard of him, knowing Kingsley was a man worth billions.
What did that have to do with him?
Johnny's sneer deepened. "Amara should be your girlfriend, right? Kingsley likes her. Ralph, think about where your medical bills came from. Did Amara trade her feelings for it? Have you paid back that money? How dare you pursue Lola here? Is your body fully recovered?"
Ralph's face turned pale. He clutched his chest, almost unable to look at Johnny.
Johnny had a cold smile on his lips. He suddenly grabbed Ralph's arm and wrote a phone number on it with a pen, the sharp tip almost piercing the skin, but Ralph didn't dare resist.
After writing, Johnny capped the pen.
He looked down at Ralph, speaking with a noble demeanor, "Call this number in two hours."
Ralph didn't ask for details. He knew he couldn't resist; Johnny was too powerful, a terrifying business elite.
Johnny didn't hit Ralph. When he walked out, he was still as graceful as ever.
The manager and a few employees at the door watched Johnny walk out calmly and breathed a sigh of relief.
After Johnny left, the manager asked Ralph, "Did you offend Mr. Flores?"
Ralph wouldn't reveal the real reason. He mumbled, "Just a small matter. I owe Mr. Flores some money."
The manager was surprised but smart enough not to ask further.
Ralph tidied up. Then he left and sat on a park bench for a long time. He slowly rolled up his sleeve, revealing the numbers Johnny had written.
Could Johnny be a pervert who liked to play some thrilling games?
He was conflicted. But he also had a faint hope that maybe by sacrificing some dignity, he could get a lot of money. As long as he pleased Johnny and Lola, he would succeed and live a wealthy life.
After much hesitation, he called the number Johnny had given him two hours later.
The phone connected, and his voice trembled. "Mr. Flores."
Johnny coldly gave a hotel name and room number.
Ralph hung up, his fingers and body trembling. He didn't want to sell his dignity, but the thought of Johnny's wealth was too tempting.
He still went to the hotel.
Half an hour later, he knocked on the suite door. The one who opened it wasn't Johnny but a strange woman, Maya Hamilton, who looked terrible, overweight, and dressed in expensive clothes.
Maya wore at least an 8-carat diamond ring.
When Maya smiled, her gums showed.
Maya looked Ralph up and down, finally satisfied, and said generously, "Come in!"
Ralph was stunned.
Maya sat on the sofa, stretching out her legs in black stockings. She pulled out several stacks of dollar bills, throwing them over. Each stack was tens of thousands of dollars.
Maya didn't care at all. Seeing Ralph not moving, she threw more money.
At Ralph's feet, there were over $200,000.
His throat moved slightly, and he closed the door. He slowly walked to Maya's side, following her commands to please her in the way she liked.
Nearly 50-year-old Maya had a strong sexual desire.
She was satisfied with Ralph's appearance but felt his sexual ability wasn't strong enough, so she took out some pills to enhance it and fed them to him. The effect was quick, and Ralph's face turned red. He no longer cared if the person beneath him was beautiful or ugly.
His eyes turned bloodshot, and he pounced on Maya like a madman.
In the next suite, Johnny sat on the sofa, quietly watching the scene on the screen, with a glass of red wine beside him.
He didn't drink the wine; it was only for celebration.
He sneered as he watched Ralph, the man who had tried to seduce his wife, now selling his body for money.
Ralph was ruined.
For a man like Ralph, who could earn wealth with just a bit of physical effort, how could he resist?
After several intense sexual encounters, Ralph would get lost in this quick way of making money.
Even if Ralph stopped relying on his looks to make money, Johnny had this leverage to make Ralph hand over all his earnings!
Johnny thought it was perfect!
He turned off the screen, no longer watching the disgusting scene of Ralph and Maya's sex. He quietly left the suite.
On the hotel's first floor, his driver was already waiting for him.
Johnny got in the car and said gently, "On the way back, stop by Bliss Boulevard. I want to buy a toy for Angelina! She loves the dolls there."
The driver agreed. "Angelina will be very happy!"
Johnny leaned back in the leather seat, adjusted his tie, and smiled slightly. "Mainly because she got a shot this morning! Angelina is pampered by the family, just like Lola was when she was little."
"Then Mr. Flores must love Angelina very much."
Johnny smiled warmly at the mention of Angelina.
