Chapter 650 Shall We Continue Tonight?

They just finished hooking up. The car was still pitch black, their breathing was getting lighter, and everything was slowly calming down. Neither of them said a word.

Even though they already had a kid and had done it plenty of times, this was their first time in a car. They were really into it a moment ago, but now it felt a bit awkward.

Kingsley's voice was rough. "I'll have a smoke, then we'll go."

Amara replied softly, "Okay."

Kingsley turned to look at her.

Amara's hands shook as she fumbled with the buttons of her shirt. Kingsley watched her for a moment, a smirk playing at the corners of his lips before he pulled her closer with a casual ease. His long fingers reached out and easily buttoned her shirt, way more skillfully than she could.

Amara couldn't help but tease him. "Your hands are pretty nimble."

"Weren't you pretty comfortable just now?" Kingsley chuckled. He sat up a bit straighter, cracked the car window slightly, and lit a cigarette, taking slow drags.

The dim light in the car made his features look even sharper.

Amara had always liked his looks, and now she felt even more depraved, having hooked up with him several times. But in a sexual relationship, if he didn't make it clear, how could she bring it up?

Thinking of Amara, Kingsley only smoked half a cigarette before putting it out. As he got out of the car, he turned to her and said gently, "You stay in the back. Fix yourself up a bit so no one will notice."

Amara blushed.

Kingsley settled into the driver's seat and glanced at his watch before turning the key in the ignition. It was almost 9 PM and they had gotten into the car just before 8 PM, which meant they had been hooking up in the car for almost an hour!

Reflecting on it, Kingsley felt a bit unsatisfied. If it weren't for the location, he wouldn't have ended it so easily.

On the way back, neither of them spoke.

The luxury car slowly drove into the villa, which was brightly lit. As soon as they got out, they saw Jesse sitting at the entrance with a small stool, holding Snowflake.

Snowflake's head was drooping and it didn't make a sound.

Jesse's little face was streaked with tears, as he cried very sadly. Seeing his parents return, he cried even harder, saying, "Ms. Robinson bit Snowflake. Will Snowflake die?"

Kingsley took Snowflake and looked at it for a long time before finally seeing the wound on its butt. He asked Jesse, "Did Caitlyn really bite it?"

Jesse wiped his tears and nodded.

Kingsley looked at Amara. "She's really something!"

He raised his voice and asked the maid where Caitlyn was.

At that moment, a white car slowly drove in. It was Billy and Naomi, with Caitlyn in the car, looking dejected.

Billy, full of energy, said, "I just got here and saw Ms. Robinson fighting with Snowflake and getting bitten. I thought the wound couldn't wait, so I took Ms. Robinson to the hospital for rabies shots! Those seven rabies shots made Ms. Robinson's face turn pale. She probably won't dare to fight with a dog again!"

Billy was very pleased, feeling like he had seen something new.

Naomi nudged him. She whispered, "Ms. Robinson is a rich young lady and a guest of Amara's. Watch your words so you don't make Amara uncomfortable."

Billy listened to her and awkwardly scratched his head. "Got it!"

Caitlyn had been through a lot lately. Now she had been bitten by a dog and had to get seven rabies shots, her arm was practically useless.

Amara had tidied herself up, but Kingsley was way more casual. His shirt collar was slightly open, his skin was flushed, and it was obvious he had just had sex.

Caitlyn was not happy. Dragging her almost useless arm, she shouted, "I'm suffering here, and you two are happily making love! Kingsley, you always act so proper, but you cling to Amara at every opportunity."

Kingsley looked at her, his gaze deep. He never indulged Caitlyn. He said softly, "How about I take you back to the Robinson Villa?"

Caitlyn chickened out. She hid behind Amara, mumbling, "I want to stay here!"

Kingsley held Snowflake and gently petted it. "Then don't provoke it anymore!"

Amara could tell he felt sorry for Snowflake. Kingsley was that kind of person, not showing his likes openly, but very protective when it came to it.

Caitlyn jealously stared at Snowflake. In Amara's house, her status was not even as good as a dog's!

At this moment, Nicole ran out. Little girls always liked pretty women. She thought Caitlyn's clothes were beautiful and blew on her arm. "Are you feeling better? Does your arm still hurt?"

Caitlyn felt much better and said, "Nicole is the only one who cares about me!"

Hailey prepared dinner and called everyone to eat. Amara took the opportunity to go upstairs to change clothes and wash her face.

In the bathroom, Amara splashed some water on her face and looked up to see her reflection; her face was still flushed.

Gripping the edges of the sink, she felt her legs tremble—a mix of exhaustion and the lingering discomfort from the position during the heated entanglement in the car.

"What are you thinking about?" Kingsley was so close next to her that Amara could smell the faint scent of tobacco on him. If she sniffed carefully, there was also a hint of the lingering scent of intimacy. All of this on a refined and noble-looking Kingsley was particularly attractive.

Amara admitted her legs felt even weaker. She wanted to leave, but couldn't move her legs, so she gently shook her head. "Nothing."

Kingsley took another step forward, standing behind her and enveloping her. He leaned in slightly, his thin lips brushing her ear, and whispered, "Your face is so red!"

Amara remained silent.

His hand lightly stroked her slender waist, his voice very low. "Did it feel good just now?"

"Hailey called us to eat." Amara's voice was a bit broken. She wanted to escape.

As she moved, his hand tightened, one hand almost covering her entire waist. She fell into his arms, helplessly leaning on his shoulder. Afraid he would go too far, she whispered, "They will notice."

Kingsley kissed her lightly on the lips, then looked at her with his deep blue eyes.

Amara shyly turned her face away, but he wouldn't let her. He whispered again, "Do you want to continue tonight? Amara, I still want to make love to you!"

These teasing words made her legs weak.

Amara could barely stand, relying entirely on him for support. Kingsley's thin lips moved from her lips to the soft spot behind her ear, kissing it lightly for a long time. After kissing, he held her and laughed hoarsely. "Fix yourself up; let's go downstairs to eat!"

Amara blushed, then quickly adjusted her clothes, as Kingsley's deep blue eyes gazed at her with a hint of a smile.

Amara quickly walked downstairs, and behind her, she seemed to hear Kingsley's chuckle.

During dinner, Caitlyn was quite delicate, and Naomi took good care of her. Eventually, Caitlyn felt too embarrassed to be picky anymore.

But as she watched them paired up, she always felt lonely. She thought that if she hadn't given herself to Landon when she was young and naive, she might have had children by now.

Naomi added some food to Caitlyn's plate.

Caitlyn looked up and forced a smile, but there were tears in her eyes.

Back in her bedroom, Caitlyn lay quietly on the bed. She still couldn't forget Landon. They spent three years together, and he was also her first boyfriend.

Her phone beeped. She picked it up and saw a reminder she had written a year ago: [Remind Landon to quit smoking, day 365!]

Caitlyn stared at it for a long time.

They had actually broken up a long time ago. It was she who couldn't let go of her feelings for Landon, insisting on going to Boston to make herself give up. In his eyes, and even in Phoebe's eyes, she was just an immature girl!

She thought about how Landon had been married for some time now, probably being affectionate with Phoebe!

And here she was, reminiscing about the past. She loathed herself for clinging to these memories, but she couldn't seem to control it. She found a photo on her phone, the only one she had of Landon.

She looked at it quietly, unable to hold back her tears.

But Caitlyn didn't have much time to be sad about this relationship. Less than half a month later, her mother, Eden Robinson, came rushing to the door.

It was a weekend evening, Kingsley and Amara had come back early. The piano teacher was teaching Nicole to play, and Amara was sitting nearby watching. In the yard, Kingsley was walking the dog with Jesse.

A black car stopped, and Eden hurried out.

Eden's expression was stern and a bit panicked. Seeing Caitlyn on the couch, she raised her hand and slapped her hard. She had never hit her beloved daughter like this before.

Caitlyn was stunned, covering her face and calling out, "Mom."

"You still have the nerve to call me Mom! You caused trouble and hid here. Your father is dealing with the mess you made and got so angry. Now he's in the hospital! Your ex-fiancé's family said you were willful and ignorant, that you didn't respect yourself, and had a fling with Landon in Boston for three years, even embarrassing yourself at his wedding. How could you do this to us?"

The piano lesson was paused.

Nicole leaned against Amara, who softly said, "Go call Kingsley over."

Nicole obediently ran off. Amara tried to calm Eden. "Mrs. Robinson, please talk things over calmly."

Eden was very resentful of Amara because she was Landon's subordinate. Maybe Caitlyn had been deceived by them back then. She spoke very rudely, "You and Landon have ruined Caitlyn! Her reputation is in tatters. What is she supposed to do now?"

Amara couldn't argue.

Back then, when Caitlyn was with Landon, Amara had arranged many things, from buying a villa to getting Caitlyn sanitary pads!

Eden became more agitated and was about to hit Caitlyn again.

A clear voice came from the entrance. "Mrs. Robinson, do you think the partner you found for Caitlyn could make her happy? Can you tolerate your husband telling you he wants an open marriage? Each doing their own thing, Caitlyn couldn't accept it, what's wrong with that?"

Eden was still angry.

But it was Kingsley speaking, and Eden was somewhat afraid of him, even though she was also angry at him.

Eden didn't know what to do, and Caitlyn stood up and said, "I'll go back with you!"

Eden had always lived a pampered life.

Caitlyn's father, Joshua Robinson, was ill, and no one was managing the business and hotels. She had been living a life of luxury for years, but she couldn't ignore her duties as the heir of the Robinson family. Amara looked at Caitlyn's swollen face, worried and reluctant.

Caitlyn forced a smile. "I can't hide here forever! Amara, this is your home, not mine!"

Amara wanted to step forward, but Kingsley gently held her back.

Kingsley looked at Caitlyn and sighed softly. "Caitlyn, it's good for you to go back! When you have free time, come visit Jesse and Nicole. Both kids like you a lot."

Caitlyn knew he was backing her up, afraid that Eden might hit her again. But Caitlyn felt she deserved to be hit.

Caitlyn went upstairs to pack a few things and said goodbye to Amara, who was very reluctant.

Caitlyn smiled faintly. "I have to leave eventually! And I need to grow up!"

With that, she hugged Amara.

Three years ago, Caitlyn never imagined being so close to Amara, and sharing so many important moments. Caitlyn's voice choked. "We'll meet again when we have time!"

Kingsley, hands in his pockets, said calmly, "If you need anything, just call me."

Caitlyn whispered her thanks, her voice barely audible. With her head bowed, she followed her mother, Eden, out of the house. The departure left a palpable silence in the house.

Hailey, rubbing her hands, said, "Ms. Robinson looks quite wealthy, but now she seems so pitiful, all because she didn't find a good partner!"

After saying that, Hailey remembered Landon's care and felt it was inappropriate.

Fortunately, Kingsley didn't respond.

Afraid of saying something wrong again, Hailey quickly gathered the two kids and left, leaving only Amara and Kingsley in the living room.

After a while, Kingsley softly asked, "Don't you have anything to say?"

Amara was slightly stunned and retorted, "Say what?"

Without replying immediately, Kingsley walked over to the coffee machine and meticulously prepared two cups of coffee. He finally brought one cup to Amara and sat down across from her.

He said directly, "Aren't you planning to tell Landon about Caitlyn's situation?"

Amara didn't understand what he meant.

Kingsley smiled faintly. "The Robinson family's business is large, but Mr. Robinson hasn't managed it well in recent years. Besides, the hotel industry has been in a slump, losing a lot of money! Caitlyn has never done any real work, so the Robinson Family's future is predictable! Amara, there's only so much we can help."

Kingsley thought that since Caitlyn had been with Landon, he should help with the Robinson family's difficult situation, at least provide some substantial compensation.

Amara pondered for a long time and made a decision.
