Chapter 913 Bruce Will Never Forget Her in This Lifetime
Bruce stared at her, trying to gauge her seriousness.
After a moment, he realized she wasn't joking. He gently put his arm around her shoulders. "Let's just go home for dinner."
But they both knew dinner wasn't going to happen.
As they stepped outside, they were met by a swarm of about a hundred reporters, all eager to get the first scoop.
Cameras and microphones were thrust in Sienna's face, and the questions were sharp and relentless.
"Miss Hawkins, are you reconsidering your engagement to Mr. Taylor?"
"Miss Hawkins, was Mr. Taylor cheating on you last time?"
"Miss Hawkins, do you have any regrets?"
Bruce stepped in front of the reporters, trying to shield Sienna from their barrage. This was his mess, not hers.
But Sienna didn't back down.
She gently pushed Bruce aside and faced the reporters with a calm demeanor. "Before I answer your questions, I'd like to ask Ms. Stewart if she knew Bruce had a girlfriend at the time. If she did, then neither of them are innocent."
"As for whether Bruce and I will get married, that's my business. It has nothing to do with Bruce and Freya's relationship. I haven't interfered in anyone's relationship. If you want an interview, please speak to Mr. Taylor or Ms. Stewart."
What impeccable logic!
Who could still call Sienna a bimbo?
After speaking, Sienna turned to Bruce and said softly, "Dinner's off for now. Bruce, sort out your own issues first."
She didn't take the opportunity to kick him while he was down.
She didn't break up with him either.
But Sienna wasn't going to help him clean up the Taylor family's mess. She wasn't that cheap.
At that moment, Bruce found her adorable.
He took Sienna's hand, looked at her for a long time, and said softly, "I'll call you when I'm done."
A simple sentence, yet filled with tenderness.
Many of the female reporters present could sense the love in the air. It was clear that Bruce's feelings for Sienna were genuine.
But news is news, and the bigger the story, the better.
Bruce personally escorted Sienna to her car.
Just before she got in, Sienna suddenly said, "Actually, I wanted to give you another chance to choose. Bruce, I'm not that fragile. I like what I can have, but I don't have to have it."
Bruce smiled slightly. "I know."
He suddenly understood Sienna. She wasn't unfeeling; she was just rational.
Even if he chose Freya for other reasons, Sienna might cry, but she would never beg him to come back.
That was Sienna.
Bruce gently touched her head. Despite the many issues he had to deal with, his heart was filled with an incredible tenderness.
He closed the car door and watched as the car slowly drove away. When he turned around, he saw Freya.
Freya stood at the corner.
Her face was full of hurt and disbelief.
She couldn't believe Bruce would risk everything to choose Sienna. She couldn't believe Sienna hadn't broken up with him.
Why had she done all this?
Was it to ruin Bruce?
No, it wasn't.
She just wanted to be with Bruce, even if it meant being his mistress.
She had never met anyone like him before. She just wanted to have him.
Did her lack of family background mean she wasn't worthy of being with Bruce?
Freya's face was streaked with tears. She knew she had lost. She knew she and Bruce could never be together again. He used to like her.
After he broke up with Sienna, he took her out for breakfast. Those days were so beautiful.
Freya couldn't accept this ending.
Cars passed by her, but she only saw Bruce. She threw herself into the traffic.
A screeching sound.
Freya was covered in blood. She thought, 'Bruce will never forget me for the rest of his life.'
