Chapter 959 Doesn't Love Me, Only Loves My Body 6
Bruce closed the door behind him.
He set Sienna's meal on the small dining table in the living room, then headed to the bedroom and sat on the edge of the bed, gently pinching Sienna's cheek. "Hey, darling," he said.
Even he thought it sounded a bit cheesy, but there was a certain sweetness to it.
Sienna, of course, ignored him.
Bruce leaned close to her ear, his voice low and raspy, "I gotta step out for a bit. I'll be back soon."
Sienna kicked him lightly with her foot, grumbling, "Bruce, you're so annoying. What kind of guy is this clingy?"
He chuckled softly.
Still felt sweet.
After a while, there was a knock on the door. "Mr. Taylor, your suite is ready. Would you like to go there now?"
Bruce said yes.
Then, he changed into formal clothes and went out.
He was a VIP at the hotel, and the manager guessed he had important business to discuss, so he specially arranged for four attendants to serve inside. Bruce was used to this kind of treatment; it was nothing new.
Eldon had never seen anything like it.
In the past, he followed Cordelia, thinking he had seen the world and that Cordelia was among the wealthy elite. But today, he realized there were always bigger fish.
Bruce, with all this service, remained unfazed.
He looked indifferent!
Eldon felt uncomfortable but still put on his usual sycophantic demeanor, respectfully saying to Bruce, "Mr. Taylor, I'm here today to ask for your mercy, to let me off the hook."
Bruce picked up the coffee beside him and took a sip.
The taste wasn't right, so he put it down.
Eldon cursed him inwardly for showing off.
But outwardly, he maintained a harmless appearance, continuing to look at Bruce with his big, watery eyes. Eldon had heard that in the circles of the wealthy, some men liked other men.
If Bruce took a liking to him, he was willing to sacrifice.
Eldon sent a flirtatious glance.
But Bruce was a straight man, though he had seen his fair share of shady dealings in the business world. He smiled slightly and said, "I never intended to blacklist you. I think you came to me because you lost some resources. I suggest you talk to the director instead. He's in the industry and can come up with a reason that will be more effective than anything I could say."
Eldon's face turned ugly.
Bruce was dismissing him, pushing him towards the director!
Desperate to make it big, Eldon directly hinted to Bruce, "I'm free lately. If Mr. Taylor is traveling, I can accompany you. Mr. Taylor, you must be tired of being surrounded by beautiful women all the time. Don't you want to try something new?"
Bruce was thoroughly disgusted.
He had always thought Eldon was repulsive.
Today, he met with Eldon to prevent him from doing something desperate that might harm Sienna. He didn't expect Eldon to be so shameless, with no limits.
Bruce smiled faintly, "You're mistaken! My private life is very clean, with only my wife. As for your 'new experience,' I'm not interested! Let me be clear, I have no interest in men or in homosexuality."
Eldon's face turned even uglier.
In the industry, he had always been seen as androgynous, with both male and female patrons desiring him.
Being rejected like this was a first.
He felt humiliated and said stiffly, "Mr. Taylor, can't you make an exception?"
Bruce stood up, "This conversation is over! I think you don't want to offend me further. It won't just be a simple blacklist; I'll make sure you can't survive in Seattle."
He rarely spoke like this, showing how much Eldon had angered him!
Bruce returned to the bedroom and complained to Sienna.
