Chapter 952 I am Bruce, Sienna's Husband
After a long pause, Eldon finally found his voice. "Why didn't you say something earlier?"
The director sneered. "Did you give anyone a chance? You've been pushing people too hard, always using Cordelia to pressure the actresses. Why should I give you a chance? Let me tell you, I've been a director for many years and I've put up with a lot, but I've never had to put up with a toy boy's attitude! Even the biggest stars call me 'director' with respect. With that, the director effectively sealed Eldon's fate, almost blacklisting him.
Eldon panicked and looked to Cordelia for help, but she was too busy dealing with her issues to care about him.

Eldon was stunned. Was it really that serious?

Cordelia tried to speak several times, but Bruce cut her off with a few words. He was even feeding Will baby food, looking every bit the doting father.
Sienna, meanwhile, was enjoying the meal, looking beautiful as always.

He spoke calmly, "You should withdraw your investment from the production."
Cordelia quickly responded, "Mr. Taylor, you misunderstand. I have no intention of withdrawing my investment, especially with Mrs. Taylor involved..."
She didn't get to finish.
Bruce interrupted, wiping his hands with a warm towel. "Cordelia, I think you misunderstand me. I want you to withdraw your investment and take Eldon with you. As for the production, I'll invest double the amount. The lead actor will be someone the director approves of, someone with both talent and character to act alongside Sienna. Do you have any objections to this arrangement?"
Cordelia's mouth fell open.
She had been about to plead for someone, but Bruce had cut her off.
She didn't dare object.
She raised her glass. "Whatever you say, Mr. Taylor. Consider the investment a gift for the baby."
Bruce didn't give her the satisfaction, smiling slightly. "Let's not pretend we're closer than we are."
Cordelia's face fell.
She realized Bruce was even tougher to deal with than Lonnie.
Lonnie was cunning and calculating, but Bruce was a cold, ruthless wolf.
The director, on the other hand, was overjoyed. Cordelia's investment had always been stingy, but now with an extra several million dollars, he could hire an actor far superior to Eldon. This film could sweep the awards, especially since he was very satisfied with Sienna. She wasn't formally trained, but her acting was natural and seamless.
Like a well-known actress in the industry, relaxed and effortless.
The director sighed.
Sienna was lucky to have such a relaxed demeanor. When she was bullied on set, her husband immediately came to her defense, willing to spend millions without a second thought. Ordinary people couldn't afford such luxury.
For Sienna, the entertainment industry was just a playground.
The director and Cordelia respectfully saw Bruce and Sienna off.
Outside, Eldon was still standing in the cold wind.
He finally realized he was nothing in the entertainment industry. When faced with real stars, he didn't even get a chance to smile.
He accepted his fate and bowed his head to Sienna.
"I don't have any other requests. I hope you can give me a way out."

Bruce and Sienna left.
In the car, Sienna said, "I'll drive. You watch Will in the back."

Sienna leaned back in her seat, her voice soft. "The way you wrote that check was very impressive."
Bruce looked at her in the rearview mirror.

He replied slowly, "But I seem to remember you enjoyed last night more than I did."
