Chapter 572 Lola, Call Me Hubby!

Lola just couldn't fully commit herself.

"What’s on your mind?" Johnny murmured, nibbling on her earlobe. His voice was lazy, almost indifferent, but his body was moved with passionate intensity.

She was worried the servants downstairs or Angelina might walk in, and she was too tense to relax.

Johnny let out a low grunt.

His handsome face flushed slightly, unable to hold back his desire any longer, becoming much rougher than before.

They wrapped up their intimate moment before dinner. Lola's legs felt like jelly, and Johnny helped her straighten her dress. He leisurely buttoned his shirt, ran his fingers through his hair, looking like nothing intense had just happened.

Lola glanced at him, feeling a bit annoyed.

Johnny leaned in, whispering in her ear, "Go freshen up. I'll go downstairs and keep Angelina company."

Lola turned her face away, still blushing.

Johnny chuckled lightly, with a hint of dissatisfaction. "We'll continue tonight."

Lola kicked him.

He laughed, adjusted his clothes again, and gracefully went downstairs.

Lola quickly washed her face, hoping the cold water would cool her down.

She looked up at herself in the mirror and noticed she looked unusually radiant. She gently touched her face, thinking she hadn't looked this good in years.

Could sleeping with Johnny have such a good effect?

Lola couldn't bear to think about it.

Afraid that Angelina might come up, she hurried downstairs, where the servants had already set the table.

Johnny, who had just been so rough with her, was now sitting at the dining table, coaxing Angelina, looking completely proper, with no trace of his earlier behavior.

Angelina pointed at a piece of meat, softly pleading, "Daddy, Bobby looks like he really wants to eat it! Can we give him a piece?"

Bobby wagged his tail under the table.

Having been raised for a while, the spotted puppy had grown a bit.

Johnny looked at Bobby and patiently told Angelina, "Puppies eat dog food and canned food; they can't eat salty things! Next time, Daddy will take you to the pet store to buy some canned food for Bobby, okay?"

Angelina was very obedient. She regretfully told Bobby, "Poor thing!"

She patted Bobby's head, and he lay down, looking extremely disappointed.

Lola watched quietly, her eyes a bit moist, perhaps because this scene was something she had imagined countless times when she was pregnant with Angelina, and now it had become a reality, but she still felt a bit sad.

Johnny suddenly looked up and saw her moist eyes.

Lola composed herself and sat down to eat, but he lowered his voice and asked, "What's wrong? You couldn't take it in the closet earlier, and now you look like you're about to cry again?"

Lola was a bit annoyed. "I'm not crying!"

Johnny nodded knowingly, with a meaningful gaze.

Lola shot him a warning look, and Johnny smiled slightly, knowing that Lola was actually easy to coax.

He didn't push it further. After putting Angelina to bed, he took Lola to the guest room next door and made love to her multiple times.

Lola's voice was hoarse from calling out.

Afterwards, she lay with her back to him, breathing lightly.

He pressed against her back, sweaty, and licked the sweat off her skin. "Why did you want to cry during dinner?"

Lola was stunned.

Johnny turned her body around, looking at her in the moonlight, then kissed her in an unbelievably gentle way.

His voice was low and sexy. "I couldn't ask much in front of Angelina! Lola, is it because of me?"

Since their reunion, they had never really discussed why she left back then, but they both knew deep down.

Now that he brought it up, did he want to talk about it?

Lola didn't really have the energy. But she also knew that Johnny's personality wouldn't let her avoid it. So she responded softly, "If it weren't for Melissa back then, we might be ten times better off now."

After saying that, she felt it was pointless.

Everything had already happened, and now they were together again for Angelina's sake. Dwelling on the past would only add to the troubles.

But she knew deep down that she wasn't like this before. Having a child made her vulnerable now.

When she first returned, she only wanted to have another child to cure Angelina's illness.

But Angelina liked Johnny, so even if Lola didn't want to be with Johnny, she had to consider Angelina's feelings.

She calmly finished speaking, so gentle that she couldn't believe she could be like this.

Johnny had actually guessed that her reconciliation with him was a compromise.

He tightened his arms, holding her close. Lola remained quiet, and after a long time, he suddenly said hoarsely, "Lola, I'm sorry!"

Lola didn't say anything.

At this moment, he really wanted to ask about her and Darren.

Did she ever love Darren?

But the words stuck in his throat, and Johnny decided to let it go. The most important thing was that Lola, his legal wife, was now lying beside him.

He said hoarsely, "After the baby is born, let's have a wedding, okay?"

But Lola didn't want to. It wasn't that she hadn't longed for it, but after having a child, she just didn't have the heart for it.

Johnny didn't force her.

From that night on, their relationship improved significantly. Lola no longer resisted him.

For the three nights before Johnny's business trip, they made love every night.

On the last night, Johnny took a break, but when he wanted to go again, she couldn't help but kick him away. "Johnny, where do you get all this energy?"

He looked at her, making sure she was serious and not just resisting.

After a long pause, he said, "I haven't had sex in three years, and I'm really longing for it."

Lola was quite angry.

He had been indulging for days and didn't seem to get tired of it. Besides, this wasn't their first time; they used to live together for a long time, and the novelty had long worn off.

Seeing her insistence, Johnny didn't push further.

He calmed down for a moment and gently touched her hair. "Want me to carry you to the shower?"

Lola propped herself up. "I'll wash myself!"

She paused. "Aren't you leaving for a business trip tomorrow morning? Get some sleep early!"

Johnny just stared at her. After a long time, he smiled lightly, making Lola's face heat up with a bit of shyness.

She wrapped herself in a towel and ran back to the master bedroom.

Johnny had to get up at seven in the morning, so he slept in the guest room that night. After Lola left, he reached for a pack of cigarettes on the nightstand but decided against it.

His phone rang beside the pillow.

He picked it up, and it was his assistant's voice. "Mr. Flores, we've arranged for the doctor in Vienna. Mr. Bailey can go for treatment soon!"

"Got it." Johnny's tone was indifferent, and then he hung up and walked into the bathroom. He was feeling a bit down.

He was bothered by Darren and Lola's relationship. He planned to send Darren abroad for treatment, and he would be good to Lola and Angelina.

He cared so much that he didn't want to send Darren to Novaria. Because that was where Darren and Lola had lived together for three years.

Lola just thought Darren would go to Novaria, with a good environment and familiar doctors. And she could visit him!

Darren didn't tell her the truth either. Darren's attentiveness towards Lola made Johnny extremely jealous.

The next morning, after washing up, he walked into the master bedroom.

Lola and Angelina were still asleep.

Johnny bent down and kissed them on the cheek. Just as he was about to leave, Lola woke up.

She was a bit groggy from sleep.

Johnny naturally lowered his head, letting her hug him.

"Are you leaving? Did you have breakfast?"

Johnny looked at her but didn't answer her question. Instead, he kissed her lips.

She was relaxed, and her whole body soft.

After kissing for quite a while, Johnny whispered, "I'll be back in five days! Take good care of Angelina."

Lola leaned against the white pillow.

She was already beautiful, but now she looked even more delicate. Johnny couldn't help but kiss her again, whispering, "I really should have teased you last night!"

Lola softly urged him to be moderate.

Johnny laughed and bit her lip. "You used to be crazier than me!"

Lola didn't want to hear it anymore. She kicked his leg, telling him to leave.

But he pulled her foot out from under the blanket.

Lola bit her lip, feeling both embarrassed and angry, afraid that if Angelina woke up and saw this. "Johnny! Are you crazy? Stop it; don't you have a flight to catch?"

Suddenly, he lowered his head and whispered in her ear, "Call me 'hubby,' and I'll let you go."

Lola just couldn't say it.

Johnny became even more relentless, teasing her until she couldn't take it anymore. She turned her face away and softly whimpered, the sound muffled but audible to him, heightening his arousal even more.

Lola was furious. She kicked him desperately, not allowing him to continue, but Angelina turned over in her sleep.

Scared, she didn't dare move anymore.

Johnny chuckled lowly, then easily picked her up and carried her to the bathroom, pressing her against the glass door to kiss her.

Lola complained, "Aren't you tired of this?"

The sound of a zipper, and she couldn't make any more noise, just clinging to him and letting him have his way.

Johnny coaxed her, "Call me again?"

"No!"

He laughed softly, using every trick to tease her. Before long, Lola was so overwhelmed she could only cling to his neck and softly call him 'hubby.'

Finally, he was satisfied.

Johnny checked his watch; it was seven-thirty, too late for breakfast.

He didn't even have time to help her with her nightgown, kissed her, and left. Lola cursed him angrily.

Suddenly, the bathroom door opened again, and Johnny returned, cupping her face and giving her a deep kiss.

Johnny whispered, "Wait for me to come back, and I'll make it up to you."

He knew he had been too rough earlier, and Lola must have been in some pain. But he couldn't help it.

Lola blushed and told him to leave quickly. This time, Johnny really left.

Lola took a shower to wash away his scent, slowly touching her belly.

If she could choose, she wanted to have a boy.

Boys should be stronger!

There was a knock at the bedroom door. She dried herself and went to open it, finding a bouquet of roses.

The servant smiled. "Johnny asked us to buy these for you before he left. He really cares about you."

Lola smiled faintly and took the bouquet. It was a bunch of champagne roses, very beautiful.

She thought about the past few days; Johnny had been constantly wanting to make love. He was clearly trying to be attentive.
